I never saw the point in stopping Team Aqua. They were going to harden the lava in the volcano so the rainwater would fill it up and make a lake to make more habitat for water Pokemon. That's so... Evil?

By the way THERE CAN ALWAYS BE MORE MAGIKARP. AND TEAM ROCKET WILL ENRAGE THEM AND TURN THEM INTO GYARADOS FOR OUR AMUSEMENT.

But the thing is, they already had Team Magma meddling with them, so aside from you having the obligatory main-character's Deus Ex Machina power, you were pretty much irrelevant there. They would have just sat there kicking each other in the shins and sabotaging each other so neither COULD become too powerful.

It was far enough in the game you could train it into a Gyarados quickly, right?

Oh, the Magikarp salesman. Object of about as much hate as joy. Hate because later you can get Magikarp for the price of a Pokéball, and joy because I always start with Charmander. No water types on my team before Brock! (Arceus blast it.)

I'm not fond of Galactic. How come we weren't there in their place?

I kinda liked Team Magma though...

Team rocket permanently disbanded after the defeat of Giovanni (and then the generals)

Giovanni never returned, so...

We're still in the cartoons though biggrin

BUT AT LEAST TEAM ROCKET ARE IN IT.

I only acknowledge the first 151 pokemon.

I'm to cool for the other 342.
They weren't in the first (and BEST) series, therefore they do not exist.

Though I do still play xD
I can't help myself.

But 152 onwards are just inferior.
