William walked into the establishment, and glanced around. Finding a seat he quietly sat down, and enjoyed the solitude.
((For those of you who are wondering, William Grey looks identical to Edward Grey. Also they are Siblings.))

Stefan and Cole came into the cafe together and were laughing. Cole sat down at a booth and Stefan sat down on the other side.
"Ah my uncle, I wish you would get out more, to find someone for you." Stefan patted Cole on the hand that was on the table.
"I know nephew, it is just hard finding men these days. Either they don't want to come out or they don't egsist anymore. I might be the only one left for all I know." Cole laughed slightly then sighed.

" Jackie!!" Shays embaressed voice squeaked, a blush covering her skin as Jack pulled her up. " no, mean it! dont even think about --"
Fully intent on cheering her up he lifted her hand, saying loudly. " Hey! single alert, some one claim her for a dance before shes gone!" they had been talking about what their houses would look like, if they ever moved out from their shared appartment.. and who they would like to live with. he had no problum with shyness, it just wasnt in him.. and he didnt want her dwelling over the death at her job.
Jerking her hand away she tried to scowl at him, ducking his arm and backing away. she held her hands up, a laughing glint in her eyes as she shook her head. " oh no, im Not getting into this.. you sir are drunk, and im not listening to you."

Stefan looked at the girl and stood up. "You should listen to a drunk miss, or you will never find the one you want for yourself." He walked over to her and held out his hand for her. "I'm Stefan, and is your name little lady?"
Cole laughed and walked over to stand by Jack to watch the two. "Don't let him get too close just yet, he likes chasing tails. One day I hope he will find someone."

Shay tried to muster up her doctor expression, the look that said 'dont ask, i know what im saying'. " Listening to a drunk gets you in bad situations." in the end she laughed, takeing his hand as she said firmly. " but they are usualy fun. im Shay."
" bah.. all the strait ones are chasers." Jack grumbled, his expression still amused. he wasnt drunk.. but Shay didnt know that. all the same he crossed is arms over his chest, looking intimidateing.

Stefan laughed and took Shay to the dance floor, pulling her close to him, placing his hand on her hip, placing her hand on his shoulder, and taking her other hand with his last free hand. "I have learned to deal with them. I've also learned to deal with gays." He smiled and started doing a slow dance to the music.
"Sometimes I wish gays were like that, would be so much easier to get a date every now and then. Always dorment, afraid to be laughed at. Sucks to be single." He looked over at Jack holding out a palm. "Names Cole, whats yours?"

" and how to dance." she offered, noding her head in respect. inside she felt her heart twisting, and without thought she studied the man named Stefan. he was handsom, she would admit that.. but she couldnt help feeling sheepish. she was still in her lab coat for crying out loud.. that sent men running for the hills on most days.
Seeing the expression on Coles face he raised an eyebrow, seeming amused. " Jack, or Jackie as Shay calls me." with a graceful sidestep he bowed at the waist, offering Cole his hand in a courtly fashion. " and i have been rude. Care to dance?"

Stefan smiled at Shay and bowed his slightly. "Thank you, something my mother taught me to do to impress women." He studdied her coat and chuckled. "I hadn't even noticed that you are a doctor. What feild do you mainly work in?"
Cole chuckled and took Jack's hand. "I would love to dance, but should you lead or should I?" Cole smiled and took Jack to the dance floor a small distance from Stefan and Shay, but they were practicly next to each other.

" By all means, lead away." he offered, mimicing Shays postion. he glanced at his friend from the corner of his eye, but gave a mental shrug and turned back to Cole. if she felt threatened.. well, he had taught her quite a bit in self defense.
" Recovery ward.. mainly. i bounce around the areas, help who i can." sadness crept into her expression, but she pushed it back. forceing a smile she fallowed his steps, saying carfuly. " it is work, and it helps."

"I'm not aloud in hospitals, I go around and heal as many as I can and the humans fast about it for a long time. I am not human, so they shun me." He opened his mouth and showed off his fangs. "I'm not like most vampires though. I also have wolf in me from my father, so I do not need to feed on blood to servive." He winked at her and looked over at Jack and Cole. "Cool, I couldn't tell that your friend was gay like my uncle." He smiled and twirled her around and dipped her low, then bringing her back up.
Cole chuckled and started to dance, a little faster then Shay and Stefan but not by much. "I can tell your friend is a doctor, but what do you do for a living?"

laughing she moved with him, shakeing her head. " never met anyone not human, besides jackie." a stubroness crept into her voice as she looked at his shirt, her gaze distracted. " they will not let anyone near the injured if their 'different'.. sturbon idiots. and the creatures not human get less treatment." her voice was quiet, filled with disgust. she had been warned off trying to help them, but she did it anyway.. it was why Jack had had to beat her boss to high hell, the man had intended to smack her for going against his word. " he is gay, but then again i like men to so its all good."
Jack simply smiled, though his eyes had narrowed on Shay for a few moments. he knew that look, and he had to stop himself from going to beat that doctor again. looking back at Cole he shrugged, his tone honost. " im a gun for the hire. Shay gets upset about it, but i do what i need to."

"It is stupid that they don't treat us the same. The only difference between my kind and your kind is that my kind live on blood and live forever. We aren't really monsters, and it is practicly the same of what humans do to animals, but at least we make sure they get sent to their families and we leave a sorry and thank you note to the family. That is what most of us do, but you never hear it." Stefan's fangs enlongated at the thought.
Cole grinned. "Oh goodie, a man who knows how to have fun in the ally ways."

Shay nodded, her eyes troubled. " it isnt right, but--" a sharp pain crashed down on her and she flinched, her entire body breaking out into a shiver. pulling away she said quickly. " thank you, i enjoyed the dance.. but i must go. " something was hurt.. she felt it, and it needed help. with a turn she was running to the door, ducking and weaveing to get by people. something was hurt in the gardens.
Jack froze as Shay ran, his expression turning serious. " that girl.. she will get hurt one of these days." he looked at Cole and Stefan, saying firmly. " i may need help with this.. can you two keep up?" before he was finished his image was bluring, useing his vampire speed to race after Shay.
(( sorry for the scene switch, but Bain is at a dead spot. to the Hidden Gardens. lol ))

Stefan looked at Cole then took off at a dead run. "Women!" Stefan laughed and was gone.
Cole laughed and ran after Stefan. "Men!" He laughed as well and they were off to the Gardens.

Sitting outside the clubs back door, Miri wagged her tail in time to the beat. she was still in her demon form, almost as tall as the door she sat next to.. but few could see her. she loved the music but never had the nerve to go in the club, everything was still too new to handle all at once.. so she sat where she could listen, her large form still as her tail twitched. she wont worry.. ill be back before she notices ive been gone..
