@Indu: I don't think that would work... :C Cordel insists that his Apprentices have some sort of experience as Healers. Avery was a Beastcrafter, right? He's also snippy about accepting Candidates: "They already abandoned their Crafts once. I don't want to waste my time trying to teach them something only to have them forget it the moment that a dragon looks at them."
@Kael: I would LOVE it if you started something. x_x;; I'm sorry to ask you to start, but... uhh... could you, please?

That's true, she was a beastcrafter, mainly working on taking care of/healing the animals [as they were specifically runners and flits for the races]. I also figure she's the type of gal to try and pick up a trade she can use at the weyr, as she's almost twenty and won't have much longer to impress. Still, if Cordel wouldn't do it, then no go. :3 Ah, well.
She'd want to learn dragon-healing, as her mother's main rule was to not have something you can't take care of [hence the beastcraft], but she probably wouldn't be much interested in the healing of humans, other than as practice.

Oh! So Avery was more of a beasthealer then? She probably ought to apprentice herself to a Beasthealer then. Cordel doesn't know much about healing beasts besides dragonkin.

Yeah, this was just an opportunity, so I figured I'd ask. I thought beasthealing fell under the general craft, so I didn't specify in rank, though I did in her history. Avery wouldn't IC go back to beasthealing, as she only likes to do things relevant to her. At this time, that'd be dragons and flits [she's worked with flits before, not dragons, though], as she's at the weyr.
If she went HOME, which I doubt, she'd probably go back to beasthealing.
Either way, it might be fun to do an RP sometime. :3

Mmkay. It's about time I got my a** in gear.
Now. I wrote Rawni so that she was interested in dragons and healing them without even knowing about Cordel, but I assume that she would know of him, since she would probably lurk around to see how to care for them and what to do in certain situations? I'm not sure whether she would be interested in an apprenticeship, since she does intend to Impress, but an RP between them wouldn't be out of order?
Now. An RP between Elae and Ralke has the potential to be hysterical. Ralke would be looking out for his baby sister, Rawni, and trying to get to know her- AKA flirting/flustering the poor girl while trying to determine whether she would be able to handle Rawni's sometimes-bitchy temperament. But cuteness could abound.
Now. I'm not sure about M'al, other than Ralke could be an uber-brat around him and his new weyrling. But. If you think of something other than what I'm offering, gooooo for it.

On another note [though you're listed as closed], the character I was working on, Gakere, has been approved, and while he's not an apprentice, it still might be interesting for the two men to meet. After all, journeymen DO still take instruction, and I'm sure Cordel is much more skilled in dragonhealing.

@Broken: I'm not certain what you're asking for? To me, it reads like you're asking if Rawni can lurk around Cordel and learn about things. That doesn't sound like there'd be much interaction. Am I just misreading things?
Sure, I'd be up for an rp between Elae and Ralke. I'm a bit confused why Ralke would flirt with his sister, but... uhh... Elae wouldn't realize they're siblings anyway.
@Indu: Sorry, Indu. :C Gakere is at Igen. Cordel is at Ista. Cordel travels as little as possible and won't go to Igen unless he absolutely has to.

... Well, yes. I posted that quite awhile before Igen was revealed/the transfer occured. It's now irrelevant, though Gakere will be returning to Ista for a visit when he's able. xD Thanks, anyway.
