The plot was at least good until the Zurg left. They didn't have it being all collect candy just for prizes. In the '06 Christmas, we actually had to go on a scavenger hunt to get some items and find out info. Now there isn't anything except get prizes and be lazy.
And that is what made the plot so good. Because the users then liked it. Now the oldies, the ones who want the plot back are being diminished by the ones who just want items.
And the upcoming site update is a bunch of bologna. All they are changing is the colors and add some pictures to help the dumb people understand what the words mean.

I love this.
Its SOOOO much faster.
Instantly instead of one to two seconds.
It kinda matches everything now.
And its pretty.

Maybe the manga artists are just off on vacation here and there, making plot progress a little slow?
