I would choose Treecko cause I like Grass Types, plus, Treecko's evelutions aka Grovyle and Sceptile can know Leaf Blade which is useful.
Or Squirtle cause I like Water Types too. =3, At its final Evelution Blastise, it can know Hydro Cannon and it can KO Charizard with Hydro Pump and Venasaur, well, probably Ice Beam. =3

It would come down to Charmander or Mudkip, but I would end up choosing Charmander in the end. It's always been my favourite starter. And then I'd start my quest to obtain a Mudkip. So, it's win-win!

Torchic because i absolute love blaziken. Otherwise one of the kanto starters since i always likes then originals.

Either Mudkip or Cyndaquil, because their evolved forms have excellent defense and HP.

I would choose torchic since he eventually evolves into my all time favorite BLAZIKEN.

I would choose either Squirtle or Balbasaur.
I'm mostly a fan of the original 151 PoKeMoN.
Thing is, whenever I pick Pikachu I find things
like battles far too easy. I'm too damn skilled with electrics. D:

i love Turtwig because he evolves to become my favorite type combination and he's a turtle (unlike Squirtle who is actually part squirrel)
