I could hardly wait to get out of High School...I guess the high point was helping organize an anti-war rally and being on TV for it. But that was a long time ago. I much preferred college -it seemed to have more of a point.

The first 2 years in high school sucked for me, but the last 2 got a little better so I cant say it was all bad. My Junior year was probably my favorite year since I discovered video production and got into other fun things that I'm not gonna mention here wink

My 30 year reunion was supposed to be this year, I graduated in '79. But there were over 4000 kids in my school, and over 800 in my graduating class. I have seldom felt the need to go to a reunion, though I have wanted to visit the school Skyline, if your curious.

I hated high school. I hated middle school even more, but it was the same crowd of rich, snobby little brats in both places. College was much better. More space, more people, more choices.
I told my students that if I catch them bullying anyone or if I hear about it, I'll come up there (to whatever grade they're in) and put them in time-out. They seemed shocked that i'd do that... but not overly surprised wink

Highschool for me was one big love story. I met a boy and fell deeply in love. It was pretty typical. Everyone knew who we were. He was on the football *though I was never at any point a cheeerleader* lol. He walked me to every single class. We made sure to always have the same lunch. We walked home together *he only lived two blocks from me*. My whole highschool life was basically him. I met him freshman year and I stayed with him till I was actually 20 years old. So for me I don't really have any memories of highschool besides him. I ditched all my friends it was only about him. *which i really regret now* but at the same time we had some extremely intense passionate beautiful moments...Moments I know a lot of people that age never experienced. So I guess I don't regret it.

High school started out just fine,I had alot of friends I could han with,and do alot of things with,but the middle of my senior year we moved,and I had to make new friends which was kind of hard.

I hated school, always was picked on short and chubby. High School was not by much. I was bused from my white neighborhood to a black school. (Yup I'm that old) I got into a lot of fights.
I left HS in my Jr year and got married. (yup 16) not pregnant.
When I started to have children, I chose to homeschool. It has been great.
HS memories not many good ones.

Hated it, I had mostly cool teachers but as for student body I couldn't stand half of them, most of my friends that I did have were underclassmen that I lost track of. Our school wasn't worth remolding like the other schools bc we were technically on a swamp so it was sinking. (instead they put a brand new one next to a graveyard instead ironic ne?) I was glad to be out when I did. I kept hearing how much more it got worse in rep after I left.

I wish School before college never happened. >.< Bullies always pissing me off. Socially awkward aspie(didn't know I was an aspie till like a few years ago when the doctor finally figured me out and why I was so socially "awkward." Long story really. But I screamed a lot when bullied and i hate the school. I wish the whole staff at the time would eat sh** and die, because they made me the bad guy. Pffft. fu** em all. Not everyone there was bad, I keep in touch with a few of them, but really. HS is f'ed up no matter what.
