Chath's eyes were locked onto the screen as he listened to what Tsuji had to say. He was fairly certain that the people would take the bait, but like her, he wanted to make sure things went well for them. The better they execute, the more fun it'll be after all!

And as she threw out her suggestion, he was trying to think of a few things as well. Seeing how this was her first time trolling, he decided to go ahead with it. It wasn't too bad of an idea anyway.

"Nice one," he grinned deviously. For a moment, he glanced over in the general direction of where Michael was. From the looks of things, his guardian was busy, so there weren't really any worries about getting caught right now.

'so, what do u guys think about Edward?' he typed out.

'omg. edward!??11 he's leik so hawt.'
'i wanna marry him'
'bella totaally doesn't deserve him'

"Looks like they took the bait. Oh! I know. There's this one really nasty pic on the web. I'll give it to them saying it's a really hot picture of the guy. How does that sound?"

Quite frankly, he was rather curious how the people in the chat would react to stumbling upon 'goatse'. And all he had to do was snag one of those images and rename it in photobucket or something along those lines.

Tsuji nodded happily when Chath told her they had taken the bait. Honestly, how easy was this going to be? She grinned and leaned forward, squinting at the lines of text in another feeble attempt to make it out. She wondered for a moment just how far they would be able to take their little round of mischief without getting caught. She didn't know where this guy's parents were, and as for William.. well, he was probably long gone by now.

Might as well enjoy it, she figured. However her interest was piqued as Chath brought up another suggestion.. a very good one, she thought.

"That's awesome! You can do that?" Her excitement and curiosity at this stranger's techniques was written on her face. This guy knew his stuff.. she'd have to ask him for tips on playing pranks on William sometime.

"It sounds good to me though. Like.. how nasty?" Somewhere, in the back of her mind, a little voice protested at saying as much, but her intrigue at what her new friend was thinking quickly silenced any misgivings. He knew what he was doing. Tsuji spun her chair around just to be sure William wouldn't come charging through the door (and luckily, she saw no sign of him). It would've been just like him to come in and ruin her fun.

Sheepishly and slowly, a grin crept onto Chath's face. The thing he suggested was pretty easy to do really. Though, he hoped he wouldn't end up grossing out his new friend in the process. The image was pretty bad after all...

So there was some hesitation with his response. He could show her it while he prepared it all but he'll leave it up to her whether or not she really wants to see the image itself.

"It's... really nasty. You can close your eyes or something if you'd like while I get the image. I'll let you know when I'm done," he said finally. As he spoke, he was already at Google, ready to go and find his 'ammunition' for the night. For the time being he didn't enter the search just yet, as he wanted to see what Tsuji wanted to do first.

Again, the small voice in the back of Tsuji's mind protested wisely. Should she really see it, if it's as disgusting as he says it is? Still, it was very nice of him to wait until she made her up mind. She liked that touch of politeness. However, the note of protest in her thoughts was silenced by something more powerful - the voice of her own curiosity.

It'd be her own fault if it made her wiggle in her chair uncomfortably; Chath did say she could close her eyes, if it'd make her feel better. She'd been warned, but the curiosity would not heed it.

"Let's see it," Tsuji replied with a conspiratorial smile. "I can't wait to see how they'll freak out! It's gonna be so funny!" It probably would be more humorous if she could read, but she nudged that thought aside, as she did the small voice of protest. Her eyes were glued to the screen. So far, she guessed that the bigger squiggles in the chat room stood for enthusiasm. Bigger is more attention-grabbing, right? If anything, she could judge by that.

She did feel a little bad that she hadn't contributed much to this.. yet. Maybe something later would come into play where she could pitch a really good idea. She just needed time to think on it.

For a few moments, Chath stared at Tsuji with a raised eyebrow. Well, he had warned her. And a part of him gave her some props for wanting to brave the elements or so to speak. Then, with a shrug, he went and did the search.

At first nothing came up. But then he went ahead and turned off the safe search options. And lo-and-behold, several images of the infamous goatse popped right up.

The boy's eye twitched slightly at the sight of it. He had seen it a few times already, but it didn't make the image any less disturbing. Briefly, he shot a glance to the side to make sure his new friend was doing alright, then went through the rounds to snag and upload one of the images to his own photobucket and renaming it to 'hotedward'.

"If this doesn't get them to freak, I'm not quite sure what will. Well.. maybe tubgirl... But lets not get to that," he said with a sly grin.

The name sounded weird enough, but what puzzled Tsuji even more was the picture that Chath had displayed on the monitor before her. Okay, it was supposed to be gross, he said.. he had warned her.

But now that she stared at it, she couldn't quite grasp it. Either because of the ignorant bliss of childhood or the fact that her eye kept wandering, the young Ashe didn't quite get it. She blinked to check her vision, but.. still the confusion remained. A deep nagging feeling settled in as her mind tried to piece it together.

Just what was it, anyway?

However, upon a second look (which consisted of the child leaning forward and squinting at the screen), she shook her head. If she didn't get what it was on the first couple of looks, things like this were probably best left alone. She trusted Chath's word, and the image was unsettling no doubt, and if that was what it took for a hilarious reaction from these people, then she was all for it.

"Yeah, send it, send it," she urged, finding his grin infectious as it spread to her own lips. Once the chat window was up again, buzzing with activity at their comment (they had the squiggle that was dark blue, she noted - the only one in the window, so that must be what they had said), an excited shiver danced up her spine. The time has come.. do or die! "I hope they buy it!" Her grin widened and she kept her eyes glued to the glowing screen as nervous giggles escaped her. She watched and waited for the large bold squiggles of outrage (and for what had to be the millionth time that afternoon, Tsuji realized that she really needed to get on learning to read).

To his surprise, Tsuji seemed to be pretty unphased by the picture. His guess was that she had a high tolerance for this sort of thing, which he respected to a point. In any case, he finished up the prep work with a wild grin and nodded at the girl's request.

The line had been cast. Now it was time to see if anyone would take a bite. Hardly a second had gone by since he had pressed enter before people started to have outbursts. Snickering, Chath had to try and restrain himself from laughing out of control.

"Eeeeww! That's sick~!" he said in a higher pitched voice to mock one of the responses. He would have done more but the others were freaking out pretty quickly and it would probably be impossible for him to relay every sing one.

"Wat r u talking about? Dat looks jus like sexy Edward!" he said as he typed in a reply.

They bought it!

Tsuji kicked her feet quickly under her chair as she stifled her laughs behind her palms. They actually bought it! In all honesty she had given these strangers a little more credit than that, but people on this computer were so oddly trusting. Chath's reenactment loosed her control on her laughter and she once again fell into giggles.

"That's great, that's so great!" she laughed, wiping her eyes. Then an idea flashed across her mind like lightning. Immediately she was leaning on the counter with an excited grin. "Hey, hey, let's go to another chat and do it again! I bet they'll totally fall for it!" She wondered how long they could carry on the joke, and her excitement over the idea was running away with her.

"How about no, ye don't?" A hand came down on her shoulder and gave it a less than gentle squeeze, and Tsuji's laughter died in her throat. Her fingers loosened against the edge of the counter in defeat.

Busted.

The laughter had caught the attention of Michael, who had been sitting not too far away. Looking up from his work, he glanced over to where Chath sat, taking note of the girl and man nearby.

Chath nodded rapidly at Tsuji's suggestion and was just about to get to work, but he froze in his tracks as a new voice spoke from behind. It seemed that his new friend knew the one behind him, considering the hand on her shoulder and the way her laughter cut off.

Slowly, he looked behind him to see who it was exactly. In the mean time, Michael stood up and walked over to the small group.

"Chath? What's going on?" he asked.

It only took William a second to register what the two were doing. He wasn't new to this kind of thing, he knew better than to click the link the two had obviously posted. His attention diverted to glance at the boy seated next to Tsuji, and he immediately took notice of his flame-like hair. The man was willing to bet that this one was probably something like the small Ashe child his sister had found, since that's all she seemed to be drawn to.

"That's enough now." He gave Tsuji's shoulder a small smack. "No more o' this nonsense. Up ye go." She stayed defiantly in her seat, even going so far as to lean back and cross her arms. "Ye haerd me. Let's g--" The arrival of the other's parent (or what he assumed to be parent) diverted his attention momentarily. "Sorry 'bout this. Seems this one here was causin' a fuss." Whether or not she actually started it wasn't the real concern to him - the child was an instigator, and that was just as bad.

"It wasn't a fuss!" Tsuji whined from her seat. He was always ready to blame her, and she never really understood why. "You always ruin everything, don't you?" She added the last part more to herself and her new friend, and she glanced over at Chath with an apologetic look. Another look over her shoulder told her that William wasn't budging. The fun was over for now. "Looks like I've gotta go." She hopped up from the chair and kicked her feet against the scuffed linoleum floor. "Maybe we can play again sometime?" Her gaze lifted to Chath hopefully. She'd love to play again - hopefully next time William wouldn't be there to spoil everything.

"Only if ye learn to behave by then." There was a soft warning in his voice, as though he'd heard her thoughts. What a pain.

Chath looked between the three people around him before looking at Tsuji to return the apologetic gaze. He felt like it was partially his fault that she's in trouble now. After all, he was the one that put the idea out there. Though, he had to admit it was still fun regardless of getting caught.

Glancing at the screen, it only took Michael a fraction of a second to figure out what the two kids were up to. Frowning at this, he shook his head to himself before turning his attention to the other guardian.

"No.. sorry. Chath here shouldn't be doing these sorts of things either, let alone giving others the idea to do so," he replied. The boy just gave a sort of nervous grin as a response to that.

"I'd like that," he then said to Tsuji with a smile. Maybe next time, they wouldn't get caught either!

"Kids will be kids, I s'pose. Sorry for the trouble." William shrugged, then decided that it was best to move Tsuji home, where he could keep a closer eye on her. Taking her out without Huan Yi was too much for him to handle.. at least at this point in time. "C'mon, let's go." He nudged her briefly with his much larger hand and held it open. With a long, reluctant gaze, she slowly placed her hand in his and frowned deeply as his hand closed vice-like around it. She was going to be in trouble tonight.

The frown dissipated though when Chath replied to her. They'd had fun, and that was the important thing, right? When she offered, Tsuji was unsure how they'd meet without exchanging numbers (as had been the protocol before, but she had had Huan Yi with her then), but the city couldn't have been that large. She grinned back at Chath and flashed him a thumbs up as William tugged her towards the door.

They'd meet again. There was too much mischief for them to cause out there.
