I'm tempted to tell you that you can use my guild for this, but I'm not sure we even need a guild to do this. We could simply plan the stuff in this thread, then make a public thread when we're ready.
Also, I can probably get the zOMG Elite (#1 zOMG clan, etc.) involved if you'd like.

Well, the way I see it, making a guild for this gives us a bit more freedom to do what we choose, and also gives us a tiny bit more room to play around with this. When I say a bash, I don't just mean like an hour or twoo concert, I mean like a decent length Vans Warped Tour style party, ya dig?

I think it'd be fun if we managed to get enough homes in the same neighborhood to do this in towns.

I don't want to do it in towns. There are too many scriptors there now. ninja
We should do it in Old Aquaduct, and you should all work to get high enough to survive there, at least razz

Additionally, we who are WAY over the area's level ( 8D )could totally defend any lower people. Most people who are interested in the game are already very high CL, anyway.
And if anything actually happens, I can get advertise on the zOMG Chatterbox Guild, which is pretty darn successful and big.

Yeah, guys, no offense, TIM's right. If thise was just going to be something small, I' say maybe, but I have higher ambitions than just a small gathering of people prone to crashing or glitches on the server.

Yes, there's also the problem that not everyone can use zOMG because their internet/computers can't support it.
Guilds can be renamed and reused, so that is probably the best place to hold this.
It should definitely be a summer theme, yes? Or perhaps tropical? That way people can dress up. We could have a best avatar competition, dice rolling, random number, and other games like that.
Also, if someone is willing, they could do quick sketches of different people to give out for free.
Hmm... that's all I can think of right now.

If my drawing style improves by then, I'd be okay with doing a drawing for a 5th or 6th place prizewinner. 'course, I won't have acess to my computer for most of the summer, so.... razz

The Iron Magus Look, it's just a terrible idea. If we want guests, we need to make it one click and you're there. We don't want to make them work for it. It's really not that hard. zOMG Elite does events all the time, and they regularly have 25 - 50 people on a single layer, without much trouble. I mean, I've done random events with little or no notice and gotten over 20 people. If I can do that, then we can do a planned event with results. And if it's not worth working for, then why have prizes?

It is easier to throw a party in a guild because you have more control over what happens and you can make it more personal.
It makes it much more like a party.
