Description: A fairly well built white young man, about 5'9 feet tall, around 165 pounds, with brown shaved hair, and dark looking hazel eyes. A small scar under his left eye on the upper part of his cheek. He wears a sleeveless kuro kosode covering his upper body, black gloves with steel guards on the top, covering his lower body a kuro hakama, a white sash on his waist, then straw sandals and white tabi on his feet. Staped to his back hangs his zanpakuto which is a gray bladed Shinobigatana, in other words a short sword most commonly used by ninjas.

Biography: Matt lived his life day by day, falling into the depths of despair through boredom. He started to do more physical things such as working out and trying martial arts and such. But he grew with what his home had to offer and so he decided to expand his horizons and he traveled to Japan in hopes of some adventure. He spent weeks traveling along the long and dusty trail, he would pass city and villages often always enjoying it, and then one night. He was alone at a ancient temple, when he had heard a strange noise, as he turned around he suddenly felt a pain in his chest and his life fading. For he was stabbed, by a blurry image of what seemed to be a large bone arm spear attached to what appeared to fearful eyes a monster. The monster then pulled out its bone spear arm, Matthew feel to the ground and as laid on the ground in a pool of blood he was helpless. The mighty beast then glared at Matthew, and charged at him while giving a mighty roar which sharked the very earth beneath him. Matthew's vision started to fade as the beast neared him, he felt a sudden sensation as a gray flash of light shone before the area, a dark figure had appeared before him and the beast before anything could be said, the beast had a suddenly split in half, and then faded away in a roar of agony. The figure approached Matthew, all he could see that stood out was grayish demon like mask with horns. The figure spoke, he told Matthew in a quiet tone of voice, that it was only the beginning for him. Suddenly a another bright flash of gray had blinded Matthew and he shut his eyes passing out, and then he woke up in what to seemed to him to be ancient Japan. As he ventured around he soon learned that he was in Soul Society and he was dead, to add to it he discovered what the beast was called a hollow, and the only thing people could guess who the man that killed it was a shingami. So he set out to become a shingami, and someday hopefully find the man, who killed the beast.

Combat Style: Hand to Hand

Matt usual uses hand to hand combat as he means to victory, whether its fists, or throwing or his legs. Now because of his shiki twilight manipulation, he able to fuse two different elements well, to adapt to many different situations.

Zanpakutou Name: Kisuu Boufuukaze [Kisuu Boufuu Kaze]

Zanpakutou Description: A gray bladed Shinobigatana, in other words a short sword most commonly used by ninjas.

Shiki: Twilight

Matt gains the power of twilight when he release which is the combination of light and darkness. He is able to manipulate the twilight energy to his will. Now twilight is able to take physical form, such as say scythe blades on his wrists or even just a scythe, or he could even just control it freely like per say he could create a gray flame before him. He would be able to stretch it, increase the size, change the shape, and even create something like tornado if he wanted to. It all depends on how much reiastu he pours into it, in a sense he would considered be called a mage or alchemist to best describe his type of control.

Shiki Attacks:

Twilight Blast

By giving a forward thrust kick and focusing his reiatsu with either of his legs, he can send a blast of twilight energy at his opponents. Or he instead of hitting them with one big blast can split it smaller ones to hit him from all different Directions.

Twilight Weapon Materialization

He can then materialize his twilight energy into a weapon such as a scythe or to his preference scythe blades coming down his arms.

Twilight Invoke

Twilight invoke is ability that Matt uses to focus twilight energy into a certain area to increase the power and speed. May it be his fists to gain a devastating, or his kicks to gain wind like speed.

Binding spells (bakudō)

* 1. Restrain (塞, sai)— Locks a target's arms in place behind their back. Simple- a shinigami's spiritual energy takes control of another person's muscles. In this case, it is in the arms- pinning it against their back. It does not require a lot of concentration if the target is not aware of what is happening and cannot fight against it.

* 4. Crawling Rope (這縄, hainawa) — An energy rope entangles a target's arms. Similar to bakudo one only this time, the spiritual energy must be molded into ropes to physically restrain another person. Takes more concentration than bakudo one.

* 9. Hit (撃, geki) — Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them. More similar to bakudo one than four. Mostly because you are controlling the muscles of your opponent by not letting them move. It takes a lot more concentration to keep EVERY muscle from moving. The light is merely visible spirit energy.

Destructive spells (hadō)

*1. Thrust (衝, shō) — Pushes the target away from the caster. Imagine your spirit energy to be a forceful push against a physical object.

* 4. White Lightning (白雷, byakurai)— Fires a concentrated bolt of lightning from the caster's forefinger. Like the fire type kido, a lightning based hado is spiritual energy with the components of lighting (The electricity, the burn, ext.) The user must have the intent to kill or stun the opponent, considering it is a dangerous and harmful type kido.

Physical Description: Akaketsu's eyes are dark brown and his skin is white. His hair is black and short. He is a bit muscled and wears the standard shinigami robes.

Personality: He is sometimes funny, other times serious. He is shy in front of girls he admires, but other times he is brave. He is afraid when he does not know what's going on around him but is proud enough to hide his fear. He is often surprised when something he does not expect happens. He does not like fighting with a sword much and prefers to punch his foes in the face.

Zanpakutou:

Zanpakutou Spirit: Tai Panda is, as the name suggests, a giant panda. Tai Panda can appear in any size he wants, from as large as a house to as small as a teddy bear. However, in the Inner World, he most often appears in the same size as Akaketsu. It is black and white. It is young and kind to Akaketsu. When it is raining Tai Panda humorously eats a bowl of ramen inside his out-of-place igloo or sits eating bamboo under an umbrella.

Inner World: Tai Panda's Inner World is a bright, endless dimension. The sky is much like the real world's. Small islands of bamboo forests float among the clouds in the air above a vast blue ocean also filled with small tropical islands. The weather here can be unpredictable and matches with Akaketsu's feelings and moods. It can rain, snow, be sunny, be foggy, etc...

Sealed Form: It is a scratched katana with ancient Chinese characters engraved in the blade. The hilt is wrapped in crimson silk. The hand guard is in the shape of a crystal and his made of jade.

(Not obtained yet) Shikai Name/Release Phrase: "Punch, Tai Panda!" or sometimes "Chomp, Tai Panda!"

Shikai Description: It changes into a pair of gold-colored gauntlets and a red headband with the Ying-Yang symbol. The zanpakutou melts into bright reiatsu then reshapes itself into the shape of the shikai.

Shikai Powers/Attacks: The shikai boosts Akaketsu's speed, physical strength, and balance are doubled. It has one special attack, which is "Far Punch". Far Punch allows Akaketsu to blast reiatsu at his enemy in the shape of a fist.

(Not obtained yet) Bankai Name/Release Phrase: "Bujutsu Panda!" 武術パンダ

Bankai Description: The zanpakutou becomes a pair of gold-colored gauntlets with the Chinese characters 超級 ("super") written on them, a panda-shaped stuffed toy lying on top of Akaketsu's head, wooden vest armor (underneath the shinigami robe; the shinigami robe doesn't change much), and red shin guards. Most of the time Bujutsu Panda chooses to appear in a violent explosion, but he can also choose to appear peacefully by slowly reshaping itself with reiatsu.

Bankai Powers/Attacks: Bujutsu Panda boosts Akaketsu's speed, physical strength, and balance by five times.
However, his physical endurance is weakened, which means if he is hit, he will suffer twice the amount of pain actually inflicted (depending on where he is hit).
Bujutsu Panda has two abilities, "Reiatsu Saber" and "Reiatsu Frisbee. Reiatsu Saber allows Akaketsu to summon a saber made out of reiatsu and use it. However, using Reiatsu Saber makes his bankai's speed decrease by two times. Reiatsu Frisbee allows Akaketsu to summon Frisbee-shaped reiatsu projectiles and toss them at the enemy. This is a stationary attack, which means Amiyui can only attack using this move while not moving.

Special Accessories: Akaketsu wears a jade necklace around his neck and carries a bamboo stick around in case he forgets his zanpakutou.

Skills: Akaketsu is good at volleyball and quite athletic.

Abilities: Aside from the basic kidou almost every shinigami knows, he has no other reiatsu-related abilities yet.

Biography/History: Amiyui Akaketsu was once known as Luo Zhujie, a poor peasant born in southern China about 180 years ago. When the Taiping Rebellion broke out in China he joined the rebellion's ranks as a soldier and learned martial arts from his comrades. He was killed during the First Battle of Shanghai in August 1860 and was reborn in Northern District 79 (Kusajishi), remembering nothing but his own name. He was found by a family and raised until they were murdered. Akaketsu then made his way to Northern District 1, where he learned volleyball and manners. He was found by shinigami and enrolled in Shinigami Academy.
