Physical Description: Zebediah was trained by the most eccentric of Shinigami, and as such, he almost dresses rather oddly himself. He wears a top which only closes in the upper-back and flows down his arms in long, ebony sleeves, with a touch of a deep, rick red at the base of the sleeves. Besides that the rest of his uniform is the same as a normal Shinigami's (black hakama, white tabi, straw waraji), but his obi is a deep red, and at the end of it, the colors shimmer from the red, to orange, and finally to yellow with a white tip at the end.
He also has a series tattoos that take the form of a serious of Buddhist sutras down his arms that he recites from memory to help him concentrate. He wears two silver earrings on each ear that he received as a token of his completion of basic training from his Master, Ezru Kimishima.
His skin tone is a light-tan, with a consistent, healthy coloring over most of his body. His hair is mostly brown with flecks of gold and black with some tan and white highlighting that streaks up and to the side. His build is a athletic type, nearly solid muscle, but he is also very slim. His eyes are a deep orange flecked with gray and red.
Personality: Zebediah's personality is explosive; one moment he'll be submissive, cautious, and shy, and the next he'll be a maelstrom of negative and violent energy. This can cause some major disturbances and also act as a good weapon in a fight - the fluctuations of his different personalities are dependent on whether he is being ignored or not. If he's ignored he will become violent, angry and rage-driven. When he is given some attention, he is well mannered and mild-mannered. Many would label him as bi-polar. He seems to have no problems with that labeling, and actually encourages it.
He is fiercely loyal to his beliefs, which are limited to fighting and drinking. His thoughts on fighting are simple; if the person is not a good warrior, destroy him. Alcohol is a simpler matter; if it has an alcoholic content, drink it. He also refuses to hit a child, no matter how much of a threat the child actually is.
When asked why he does something, Zeb will generally respond with this answer: "Why, you ask? Because ******** snakes."
Zanpakutou:
Zanpakutou Spirit: Eefret Hanabi is a elemental of Fire and Steel. Her temperament towards everything is the same when she first discovers it; is it flammable or meltable? But after that initial meeting she acts friendly and open.
Inner World: The Burning Tower is where Eefret resides, forging her many trophies and weapons which hang from the walls of the tower. The tower was seemingly built upon a dormant volcano, and as such there is a thick stream of heat that Eefret uses to heat her furnace.
The tower has hundreds, if not thousands of rooms, and each one is accessible only through the spiral staircase that goes from the entrance all the way to the top. At the very top, is the forge and trophy room, the many treasures and metal works displayed there. Eefret's forge is heated to an excess of 100 Cº, allowing an easily worked piece of metal.
Sealed Form: Eefret is a plain odachi-type katana with the tsuba in the shape of a fireball, the flames of which are pointing in the opposite direction as the sharpened blade. A simple design for a short-medium range of fighting, although the closer you get, the harder it becomes for Zedbediah to fight back.
Shikai Name:Hikanakon
Release Phrase: Slice to the core, burn the soul.
Shikai Description: In Shikai, Eefret changes forms from an odachi to a six-foot long Nodachi. The blade keeps it's polished steel look, while a light flame of plasma sticks to the surface of the blade. The hilt wrapping is a deep crimson with streaks of burgundy, orange, and yellow.
Shikai Powers/Attacks: In Shikai, Eefret is capable of producing a flame that burns vibrantly on whoever she cuts. The flame is inextinguishable by any common means (water, earth, lack of oxygen). This flame also sticks to the first layer that it cuts, making it so that shedding that layer will ensure that you are free from it's attack.

Bankai Name:Testubo Hanabi
Release Phrase: Crush with explosive power!
Bankai Description: In bankai, Eefret becomes a tetsubo, about 5 feet long, and made out of ironwood, with steel studs embedded deep in the wood. Weighing nearly 50lbs, and with Zeb's intense strength driving it at nearly 150ft per second, it is a force to be reckoned with, even without it's abilities.
Zebediah also gains a gauntlet on his right hand, and a full piece of armor upon his left arm. These gautlets allow him to strike with increased power bare-fisted (double the normal power) and his left arm also doubles as a blocking mechanism. The armor works in tandem with his tetsubo to allow optimum blocking and striking power.
Bankai Powers/Attacks:Testubo Hanabi's only power is that upon contact with skin, or steel, or anything, the steel studs surrounding the point of contact violently explode. These explosions are shaped so that a maximum spread of fire and steel is showered upon the opponent, as well as providing a booming sound that registers at 140 db, loud enough to rupture your inner ear and cause you to loose your sense of balance and sense of coordination.
It also has a special attack that acts as a short-range cannon, able to send a condensed explosive cartridge about 10ft, and with the equivalent potential energy as 15lbs of C4. The cartridge is made up of a shaped casing and acts exactly like the studs on the tetsubo, except the kinetic force is tripled, as is the amount of shrapnel.
Special Accessories: He wears hand wraps on his arms to reduce the stress of blocking strikes and doing manual labor on his wrists. The cloth for the wraps is made using the fabric of Ezru's life tree, Yggdrasial, which was grown from his [Ezru's] own pocket dimension.
Skills:
- Interests in Muay Thai - He is a strong fighter terms of pure power, but in terms of actual training, he has only had a few of movies. Besides that, he is an utter newbie. His skill set in Muay Thai is just the roots of the style; knee strike, punch, kick and elbow strike.Bass Proficiency - He is proficient in all things that are related to his instrument of choice, the 4 string jazz bass.Physical Resilience - His harsh training with Ezru left him dulled to pain. He can still feel it, but will work past it without too much difficulty.Muay Boran Skill - Where Muay Thai is a more civilized martial art, Muay Boran is a killing art. It is classified as a martial art that uses all 9 appendeges to their fullest (Head, Knee, Foot, Elbow, Fist) and aiming for strikes that will kill. Thus extremities are targeted, as are internal organs. To use these techniques, Zebediah must be in a near-death state, and just be recently revived. (note; Muay Boran is essentially Muay Thai, but it uses more ferocity and a much simpler[unrefined] art.Skills and Knowledge in Botany - His training with Ezru left him with a deep understanding of plants and the science behind it; Botany. He is able to grow plants with different attributes such as being able to absorb large amounts of water.Fire Fusion - This ability allows him to skillfully infuse certain techniques with a fire-like attribute.

- Shunpo - (Flash Step) A movement technique that enables fast movements of the feet. Zeb's particular shunpo is at the average speed of shunpo, but because of his weight and density, he becomes something along the lines of a human cannonball.Zebediah is also capable of firing what he calls a 'Hadoken' which he learned from reading an old manuscript which is actually an excerpt from Don Kanonji's autobiography. The attack is actually Kanonji's 'Kanonji-ryuu Final Super Attack: Kanon ball!!!'. It is an effectively useless technique.Fire Affinity - After gaining his shikai, Zeb learns that he has an affinity for fire-based kidou.Searing Radiation - After gaining his shikai, Zeb learns how to pump up his phyiscal skills further by drawing his reiatsu into his body. This causes the cells in his muscle tissue to begin to rapidly multiply, giving off immense heat.
Reverse Heat - Zeb thrives in a heated enviorment, and as such, he can take the heat around him, and use it to bolster his physical abilities even more. This was discovered when he fought alongside Fefnir, the 1st Squad Captain.Mirage Shunpo - This ability is something he thought up after studying the effects of a mirage as a form of optical camouflage. The mirage shunpo allows him to wrap heat around his body whilst performing shunpo, making him nearly invisible while performing shunpo or leaving an after image in his wake.

Biography/History:
Zebediah Flamstel was a lost soul that had somehow found himself in Ezru's personal garden. His personal life unknown to him due to a bout of amnesia. Neither Zebediah nor Ezru had any idea how he had gotten there, so Ezru began to chase and hunt him.
After many days, it finally came down to Ezru cornering Zeb in the edge of his pocket dimension, where Zeb was able to beat Ezru in plain hand-to-hand combat. Ezru recognized the potential in the lad and began to train him in secret from his former allies and one-time enemies, the Soul Society.
After 5 years of training, Ezru deemed Zeb ready to meet his Shinigami brethren, and for him to continue his hermitage now that his wife would kill him if she were to ever see him again.
Zeb came to The Seireitei through one of Ezru's portals and was dropped right in the 1st Squad Captain's Office. Where he would proceed to hunt down the women his master had told him to look for to complete his training. He is currently contemplating his place and current situation, and trying to find somewhere he can do something.
After an short amount of time, Zebediah was raised to 7th Sqaud's 3rd Seat, and then he was picked by Kiisho Hayashi to be put through a trail to become his new Vice Captain. Zebediah won, and was promoted to the position of 12th Squad's Vice Captain. There, he would begin the next level of his training, to master his Kidou, his Zanpakutou, and further development of himself. He was always taught to make himself a well-rounded individual.
