As the tunnel went on, it became darker and darker till only his voice lead them. Rakoi pulled out a reusable flare light. He pulled off the top and the cave was filled with warm light.

"Is he good at anything other than predicting peoples deaths?" Hinata asked. As they walked on she activated her Beakugan so she could see better." Is this the quickest to the village?"

"He can sing. Though most of his songs make ya cry 'cus they're so sad and all. And yes, this is the quickest way to the village. Plus I can show you this," Rakoi stopped when they were in a big cavern. He replaced the flare top and the cave instantly became pitch black. Suddenly tiny lights filled the entire cave, running along the wall. They were as numerous and as beautiful as the stars on a clear night.
"Wow," Lee had to crain his neck to see it all. It really was a beautiful sight.

Hinata deactivated her Beakugan so she could see it. What she saw made her gasp." It's beutiful!" She exlaimed." What is it?"

Rakoi smiled. "They are called Jaredite stones. They glow when it's dark and are very rare and very valuble. We mine them, though we don't touch this cavern because when we're down here, it's like looking up at a stary night sky. It's relaxing."

"It is relaxing...Man I'm sleepy all of a sudden."Kiba said yawning and starting to fall asleep. Akamaru tried to keep Kiba up by shaking him.
"...Can we get moving before sleepyhead here falls asleep?..."Shino said glancing over at Kiba and Akamaru. Shino shook his head at his teammate. Idiot...

"OW! Hinata!"Kiba exclaimed because of the pain. His voice echoed throughout the cave. Akamaru shook his head like Shino.

The man chuckled. "10 thousand Ryo ($100.00) for one the size of your fist." He reopened the flare and lit the cave in warm light before he started moving again. He didn't want them to fall over the edge of the cavern and land in the nearly bottomless waters below. Who knew what lurked in it, or even if one could get out. Not to menton there were sharp stalagmites at the bottom.

Five minutes later the narrow tunnel started widening and a light was up ahead. But it wasn't the wide outdoors that greeted them, but a village hidden entirely underground. Small holes and mirrors spread light throughout the area. Small rice fields lay near the walls of the humongous cavern and a few birds flew around as if it were the sky. "Welcome to Hiwada Village."
"Amazing. How is it you can grow crops undergound?"
"See those mirrors? We use them to capture the sunlight. We have an underground spring that provides us with easy irrigation. And we have rafters above to prevend water from raining in though our air vents."

"...That's useful...and smart..."Shino thought about it and decided it was a pretty smart idea to use the sun like that.
"Yeah, that's awesome."Kiba said slowing down Akamaru to walk next to Shino. He figured he was safer near him than Hinata, who would probably hit him soon. "Arf!"Akamaru barked in agreement.

"How do the birds get their food?" Hinata said. "Were can I get a Jaredite stone? I just have enough for one."

"We usually have one of our merchants travel to different villages and towns to sell some stones. We use the tunnels to get them and the carts out safely and they return after each stop to drop off goods and money so they don't loose everything to bandets. But we can sell ya some fer half off. You can each buy one if you want," he said, leading them down a path and into the village.
"We would be most thankfull," Lee said. "I will buy one for my belovid Sakura-chan." Lee had hearts in his eyes.
