This question I'm about to ask has been bothering me since I saw Corpse Bride. Since you guys are older, wiser, and taller than me, you can probably make better guesses than mine have been.
Here is the question:
Why do you think Victor chose to drink the poison in the first place when he truly loved Victoria? sad

He did also love Emily, and if he just drank the poison, he wouldn't have to make any more choices. Once he drank that poison, life was grand for him... he could marry Emily and have a "normal" life... in the world of the dead. Victoria, on the other hand, was a bit harder. He had the parents who didn't like him, he had Barkus to deal with. There were all kinds of barriers he would have to contend with if he chose not to drink the poison.

Gotta agree with you ringwraith10, Ur the only one who's post actualy made sense in this forum! I think Victor was desperate not to go back to Victoria because she was dull and they didn't have much in common, unlike him and Emily. heart

Because when he found out that Victoria wuz getting married, he knew that he had hurt Emily's feelings and he did like her so he decided to drink the poison so he could be with Emily.
