Username: TawnyAngel Character: L’thor
Name: Rust Color: Brown Design: I would like him coloured like an abyssinian cat please. Rich mid-brown back with a ruddy/rusty orange-brown underside and a darker brown stipe from between the eyes all the way down along the spine. Also, could I ask for his eyes to be green rather than blue? It strikes me as a more curious colour than the content look of blue if that makes any sense ^^ Reference: Kitty! Another kitty! Stage: egg please, design as you like ^^ Reason for design: Abyssinian cats have always been one of my favorite breeds (especially the ruddy ones as shown in the reference image) and I would like to base his personality on their general temperament. Abyssinians are extroverted, willful and intelligent. They love to explore, and they have quiet, engaging voices though they seldom vocalize. They are however very shy of strangers, and need a great deal of attention from their owners to keep them happy. They generally get on well with other cats, although they need their space and time to themselves too. Abyssinians are known for their curiosity and enjoy exploring their surroundings, including heights, although they are sensible cats that do not take unnecessary risks.
Story: L’thor’s flitt River flies a green belonging to someone else at the Weyr. The green lays her clutch somewhere out on the coast and abandons it, leading to a coastline search by L’thor and the owner of the other flitt. After several sevendays of spending most of his free time doing this, L’thor finds a small nest of flitt eggs hidden in a small cave on the northern edge of the island; he isn’t certain if they’re the right ones but they seem about mature enough to have come from River and the green. The eggs haven’t been well placed, and all but one are cold and dead. He takes the last egg back to the Weyr, and plays a dice game with the green flitts owner to see who gets to keep it. L’thor wins, and a few days later the eggs hatches out into a lovely little brown <3

Username: SkieBorne Character: Kadri Name: Kiven Color: Bronze Design: Coloured like an anaconda. The dark blotches on top would be a dark bronze in hue, along with the splotches that edge the lighter belly. Reference: The bronze colourations of the photo are awesome starting pointsStage: Egg Reason for design: Well, Anacondas are my favourite reptile and... it'd be awesome to see the colourations adapted to a bronze. =3 Story: Uhm, no story in mind. Talis giving it would be nice. I want a bronze mostly because Kadri's green is getting a big ego and it'd be amusing to play out a sort of rivalry with a haughty bronze and a egotistic green. xD

Username: Malikztiah Ankhere Character: Kita Name: Lua Color: Green Design: A dark mossy green over most of her body, broken by small little patterns in bright, nearly yellow-green. Her wingflaps are just a shade or so darker than the rest of her hide. Reference: Here~Stage: Egg. The eggshell is a medium grey with mossy patches of green and brown very faintly over its surface. Reason for design: I love Anuk's design, and think it would look very cute and spiffy passed on to a flitter. x3 Story: One of two ways. Thell is so fond of taking and hiding things about the tailor shop from everywhere that she goes in the Weyr. It isn't so far fetched that she'd find a flit egg either in a clutch abandoned by another green, and take one of the pretty little things to stow away with her other collections in a basket of scrap cloths and forget she's hidden it. Digging through the basket for a piece to use as a patch for a customer's shirt, Kita stumbles upon the egg and is at a loss for how it ended up there and look after it so the poor thing won't get too cold, and offers the hatchling green some of Thell's meal. Or Kita accepts an order for a new set of clothing and finishes them up, but come time for his customer to pick them up they don't have the marks and offer to pay with an egg their flit had laid/they'd won in a game. Hesitant to accept the offer for what his master would say, he eventually does give in and accepts the egg after Thell shows some interest in it.

Name: Chee Color: Gold Design: Based off an irish marked merle dog. Essentially, her chest/stomach/neck/tail and wide blaze on face are a very pale, creamy gold. Username: Miss Cherie Character: Sovann Name: Kia Color: Gold Design: A rich golden amber, with hints of an almost ruddy orange, and lighter yellows. Reference: Amber Stage: Firelizard Reason for design: Absolutely arbitrary, except that I like the stone! Story: As Sovann returned to the barracks, a familiar set of whirling eyes peeked out from the rumpled furs on his bunk…“… Kia, what do you think you’re doing here!? I told you to stay away! What if Kas sees?” Sovann whined, scooping up the bundle of furs and firelizard, and holding them (and it) at arm’s length. “Remember what I said? How you’re supposed to keep away from the Weyr and…” And his little queen was projecting the fanciful image of sporting in the lake with the dragons. “—Absolutely not!” She cheeped affectionately, tumbling out of the furs to land lazily on his forearm, apparently oblivious to his mounting distress and aggrieved tone. As she did so, a roll of parchment fluttered to the floor, immediately catching Sovann’s eye. “What’s this?” The firelizard, of course, had no answer for him. She climbed daintily up his shoulder, and wrapped her tail tightly around his neck, perching a claw on his ear as she rubbed her angular head against his cheek. “Kia, I have told you time and again, you are not a necklace, nor are you a garrote. For the last fardling time, you don’t have to grip me so tightly!” Kia chirruped inquisitively, craning her neck to observe him with a set of whirling blue eyes and tilting her head slightly to the side. “I know you’re listening. That look means you’re listening. Now… go, shoo before Okassis comes back, okay?” Another curious cheep and a flutter of wings meant that his little queen had actually obeyed him for once. Of course when he noticed her calmly seated on his pillow as though her right to be there was indisputable, the notion that she had obeyed him was dashed to pieces. “Fine, you know what? Stay. But if Kas makes fun of me because of you, you are in trouble, Kia.” Not that Kia understood the sort of trouble she would be in, or that that state of trouble was likely to last. Bending down, Sovann retrieved the parchment, and made to open it when he noticed something. That scrawl… that was his handwriting! He unrolled the bit of parchment, wondering why whomever (presumably his parents) hadn’t bothered with a message tube, and stopped, and stared. Oh. On one side of the parchment was the message that the gold flitt had brought him, but on the reverse side… on the reverse side was a poem he had written when he had first Impressed his Kia. There were lines upon lines of drivel. Why he had taken it into his head to play the harper, he didn’t know, but one thing was for certain: The Harper Hall was not feeling his lack. The poem brought back the memory of the event, and he smiled. Little queen of golden sheen, the most beautiful I’ve seen…He’d been let out early that afternoon, and as usual he had taken to wandering, setting out onto the beach. There were shells to be found, and little odds and ends. Useless things, mostly, but they were all quite interesting to the young lad. He took his dinner with him, a redfruit and some cheese, and a pair of meatrolls. He knew he’d be out past sunset, which was usually when the evening meal took place. No one back up at the hold would notice his absence, for he was so often doing extra chores to make up for ridiculous stunts and pranks. As he wandered, he noticed something peculiar. There was a glint of gold up ahead. A firelizard? He hurried, taking long strides across the sand until he came to the rock that had caught his eye. On that rock was the glistening form of a flitt. At first he thought that the creature had died, and he blanched, feeling a shock of disappointment at the idea that his first encounter with a ‘lizard was too late. Then, when he reached down to lightly brush the little body, it opened its eyes and creeled at him. Red… he remembered something about red. Something important. What was it? “Oh, you’re hungry!” he said dumbly, staring at the infant like a fool. He fumbled with his belt pouch, trying to get at least a piece of cheese out before the thing took off. “Scorch it,” he muttered, irritated with his clumsiness. Finally, he offered it to the little beast. She nibbled it for a moment, and then gave him the most pathetic look he had ever seen. “All right, so… no cheese. Got it. Uhhhm, what about this instead?” Oh, he was so clumsy! The meatroll did seem to be more to her tastes, however, and by the time he was finished feeding her, he was down to just the remaining bit of cheese and the redfruit. His arm had also acquired a certain golden blotchiness- … Was she… had she really…? Yes! When the little queen turned whirling bluish green eyes on him, he nearly sank to his knees. He had Impressed a firelizard. He really had! But wait, where were her nestmates? He couldn’t remember if he had heard more creeling earlier, and he had no idea where she’d come from. Firming his resolve, he set out to try to find the remainder of the clutch. What he found certainly wasn’t what he had hoped to find. As far as he could tell, Kia (he had decided to call her that, in lieu of a better name) was the only surviving hatchling in her clutch. Then again, he wasn’t certain that there weren’t some baby lizards somewhere with the adult fair. But he had seen a couple of little bodies floating in the water, only to be pulled beneath it. The tunnelsnakes were looking particularly well fed, and it was all he could do not to throw rocks at them. He did chase after them, tucking Kia away into the sleeve of his tunic. Maybe, maybe there had been more alive than dead. He could only hope so. Finally, when he was tired and he had given up hope of finding the surviving fair, he returned back to the sea hold, his precious burden stowed safely away. The most beautiful I've seen, little queen of golden sheen.

Posting for two Ideas: Username: Shariea Character: Nelioa Name: Blume Color: Blue Design: A medium blue body with a ligher blue under belly. Has natural looking stripes in a deeper blue along its back and legs as well as down the tail. Now the picture is fairly detailed but it doesnt have to have that many stripes or be that intracate. I know the lizards are small and fitting alot of detail can look muddy. So just some nicely spaced deeper blue stripes. Reference: X Stage: Lizard Reason for design: I like natural designs so I like to base them off animal patterns at least to some extent. Story: Would be up for Talis to hand out. Username: Shariea Character: Nelioa Name: Color: Gold Design: A bright gold body with leopard like spots in a slightly darker hue along her back leaving her belly mostly clear of them. They would only be a few shades darker than her body color so they dont stand out unless you really are looking at her. Almost in the way the golden tiger in the second image provided appears. Reference: X XStage: Egg Reason for design: Same as above, love the animal patterns and I think this would look beautiful on a gold. Story: Nelioa is an awkward sort of girl whom really has no buisness having a queen of any sort, dragon or firelizard. I think this would be an interesting happenstance if perhaps Talis gave her the queen in the batch. I'm not sure whats cannon in the shop but I do know it was refferanced that In firelizard eggs there wasnt a way to really tell which would be queen so it could have been a simple mistake or mix up but once hatched was too late to reverse. Just an interesting idea that crossed my mind so I figured I would give it a try.

Yep, two ideas. Username: Zactura Character: Vaythel Name: Pierce Color: Bronze Design: Pierce would be a deep, coppery color with lighter copper flicking across him in random stripes. He has a diamond on his forehead that's the same color as his stripes, and it's about middle-small sized. I'd like for his eyes to be blue, with just a hint of green. Reference: Sort of how I'd like to see the stripes fold around like.Stage: Egg. A handsome egg, a deep, rich brown with the slightest hint of a coppery sheen across it. The egg has a small diamond of copper near the top end. Reason for design: Just because. Story: I'd be fine with Vaythel just sort of finding him. I don't have much creativity with stories right now, so eh. Username: Zactura Character: Vaythel Name: Empire Color: Gold Design: Empire would have a dark gold base, with some light gold marbling across her, almost like smoke or vines. I'd love for this to be the most prominent on her sides and to midways up her neck, and the least on her wing membranes. Wing membranes would be a middle gold color, not too deep, but not too light, either. Empire also has faint gold bands all down her neck and tail, the color being an almost newly-minted buttery gold. Her eyes would be red. Reeeeaaaally red. Reference: Marbling ref thingStage: Egg. Empire's egg is a stark, harsh goldenrod, devoid of almost any other patterning other than a small curl of a lighter gold to the right a little, giving it a sort of off-center look. Reason for design: See above. Story: Talis giving Vaythel Empire would be just fine.

Username: Eternity Ending Character: Jeran Name: Nasara Color: Gold Design: Her design would be a bright gold color, mixed in with the slightly darker giraffe spots that would be placed all over her body, much like a giraffe's would. References: URL URLStage: Firelizard Reason for design: Simplistic, yet kind of a 'look at me' pattern. I thought the spots would work well on a bright lizard, kind of fun, but yet not horribly complicated. Story: (Past story, as Jeran is currently 21 turns, and in this tale he would be about 16 turns) "So this is a firelizard egg, eh?" Jeran, apprentice miner, turned from his work to eye the opening of the cave, as the speaker had just walked into the opening maw of the deposit. "It does look like a miniature dragon's egg, Master Terrell." "Aye, you'd know, being weyrbred and all," replied the craftmaster. The two humans were currently at the mouth of a large mine deposit, perhaps two days by runner from Ista Weyr. Jeran, a young apprentice to craftmaster. Terrel, is working on a small deposit towards the mouth of the cave, as he is not as physically strong as the other miners further into the cave. "The trader assured me it would be a bronze," continued the craftmaster, as he inspected the egg in his large hands, "for the amount of marks I paid for it, it had better be." "Why did you buy it anyway, Master?" Jeran wiped the sweat off his brow, panting from the effort of digging into the hard stone. "Tunnel snakes. The trader said that they're handy against em." "I guess that would be handy," replied Jeran, as he once again lifted his pick-axe. "But master, where did he get the egg?" "The trader had a gold firelizard. Said the firelizard laid him." Jeran slammed his tool into the rock a few more times, as Terrell went back to inspecting his purchased prize. It was a small silence between them, because within moments Terrell had sucked in a breath of surprise, and Jeran had stopped in interest. "Master, it's hatching!" "I see that boy, stop waving that axe around!" The craftmaster miner laid the egg down on the warm ground, as it rocked back and forth, violently. Jeran leaned his axe against the cave wall, watching in curiosity. Jeran had seen many a Hatching in his childhood, but never one of a Firelizard. The egg rocked once more, and a small crack began to develop in its shell. With a sudden violent shove, the top layer of the egg pushed out onto the ground. The two mesmerized humans leaned forward, staring into the hole that had been created. Out flopped a small, gold firelizard. She wasn't the prettiest firelizard Jeran had ever seen. Large spots seem to decorate her, an odd pattern on such a small form. But her color was a bright gold, that seemed to shine even in the dim light of the cave. But Jeran was shaken out of his thoughts with a dismayed growl from his master. "A gold? She's no good for digging out the tunnel snakes! That lying trader!" roared the craftmaster. The little gold made a piteous sound at the miner's loud voice, her eyes flashing red, and Jeran was expecting the little creature to vanish in a sudden fright as their kind tended to do. However, the gold managed to turn her head to the right ever so slightly, still making that unhappy noise. The scarlet eye locked onto Jeran's hazel one, and soon Jeran found himself scrutinized by a pair of whirling firelizard eyes. Then a mental picture appeared in his head of the other man, accompanied by a stressed emotion. Impression had been made.

Username: FerretPrince Character: C’ren Name: Pyrite (Haha, pun) Color: Gold. Design: Based on my pet mouse, Pyrite. <3 She’s just… uhh… well, basically one color. It’s a nice rich orangey-gold. Her belly is slightly lighter, but I don’t have any good pictures of that. It’s really just a lighter shade of gold. Reference: Pyrite! Pyrite sleeping Crow (black) and Pyrite (gold) As you can see, she is gorgeous. Stage: Egg: Just a typical golden color would be fine. Reason for design: Because Pyrite is the most gorgeous mouse I’ve seen. Satin + fawn = most gorgeous fancy mouse ever. But she’s a bit of a brat. Whenever she sniffs my hand, she gets the weirdest look on her face and her eyes scrunch up a bit. It’s as if she’s saying, “…eww… A human.” She knows she’s gorgeous and is a bit of a priss. Some time ago, I came up with the idea of a really egotistical gold and Pyrite just really fits. She’s a Gold and she knows it, shard it all, so she demands the best. Story: Well, like all stories worth telling, this one starts with a slightly tipsy C’ren, a betting game, and Vox…
“Murr… go away, Vox! ‘m trying to sleep…” C’ren waved a hand in the firelizard’s general direction and rolled over, hoping the creature would get the hint. But he didn’t. A Mark could sink through stone before Vox could get a hint. The blue firelizard simply sat on C’ren’s body instead and continued to make noise, chittering happily away and sending his owner messages of urgency.
Something was happening somewhere and C’ren was not involved. Quite frankly, the Greenrider was happy to not be involved. He didn’t want to be involved. Ceylith had only recently Rose and, shard it all, he was sleepy. The fact that his Green was currently happily cooing at the lucky Blue didn’t improve C’ren’s disposition much. Naturally, he had endeavored to get rid of his own bedmate as quickly as possible before cleaning the entire weyr from top to bottom. That probably had far more to do with his current exhaustion more than any Flight-related activities. Without opening his eyes, he continued to speak, “Vox… I swear, if you don’t shut up, I’ll threaten to do something very horrible to you. And then, if you continue to make noise, I’ll threaten you in a louder voice.”
“Well, that’s not a nice thing to say to your firelizard.” Another voice spoke now, interrupting C’ren’s happy delusions of being alone. Scratch that: his happy illusion of being alone except for Vox.
Now C’ren opened his eyes. Or, rather, he opened his glare, because that was what he really did at the Bluerider. “…I threw you out,” he said slowly. “I know I did.”
“Yep!”
There was a brief silence as C’ren waited for the Bluerider---Shard it all, what was his name again----to continue, preferably with a good explanation. The other man just continued to grin. Naturally, C’ren felt obliged to fill the silence. “Most people would take that as a hint that your presence is not wanted.”
“Yep.”
Again, another awkward silence. Normally, the Greenrider would have responded with some sort of a pithy comment, but it was too damn early in the morning, his head felt fuzzy, and he wanted to sleep. Once it was obvious that glaring wasn’t working, he switched to a glower.
“You know, if you keep making faces like that, it’ll stick.” Clearly, the glower was not working, since the Bluerider was still annoyingly cheerful. Cheerful! At this hour!
“Listen… umm… what’s your name again?”
“S’dil.”
C’ren was silent for a moment before saying, “Shards.”
“What?”
“Apparently, it’s not any easier to make minds explode if you know their name.” It had been a last-desperate hope, but a hope nonetheless. “Are you going to tell me why you’re here? Watching me sleep? Because, by the way, that behavior is considered extremely… creepy. You don’t sparkle nearly enough to pull off that stalker behavior.”
“It IS my dragon out there,” S’dil pointed out. “Can’t blame me if I don’t want to be too far from him. Also, he gets all huffy if I try to leave a Greenrider the morning after. He’s got it fixed in his mind that you all want cuddles…” NOW he quailed under that glare. “I didn’t say I agree! I just don’t want to deal with a mopey dragon for the next three days. If dealing with you means I get to avoid a depressed Rilath, then I’m fine with it.”
“…Did you at least bring any booze?”
“…You just woke up. Why are you drinking?” As a matter of fact, he DID bring some alcohol, just in case.
“I’m just precocious like that. Hand it over.”
What happened next was a little fuzzy in C’ren’s mind, but it apparently involved lots of wine, interpretive dance, and a complicated game of dice. And a firelizard’s egg. Apparently C’ren had won, although, in a few weeks, he’d be wondering if being bound to a particularly prissy Gold really was ‘winning’.
(Of course, what he didn't know was that S'dil had his own bets with some friends of his regarding whether or not he could manage to sleep with C'ren again. Apparently, it was worth the loss of a firelizard to him. Go figure, huh?)

(Optional) Reference: Meh, go wildStage: Egg Reason for design: None Story: As he gets kicked out of his home, he doesn't have a good opinion of his parents, so, he kind of steals borrows some extra marks. He figures if he has a flit, people will want to buy thing from him, (if he has a flit, he must have alot of marks, which must mean he's good at what he does). He buys the egg from a trader, (losing almost all of his marks), and waits. It hatches the next morning and not bothering to check, makes his breakfast, and while eating, he drops a thing of meat and when he tries to pick it up, the flitt eats it out of his hand. Thus, he calls the little thing a 'Thief'. The name sticks, as does the flitt.

Its paws and wing membrane(fading into a shade of cyan/electric blue on the membrane) are also the same shade of lighter blue. An almost cyan/electric blue is also present in three stripes on the back of its neck, back, and just before the bend in its wing's "arms". The tip of its tail is also the vibrant shade of cyan/electric blue. Its neck ridges are cobalt. Reference: [Link!]Stage: egg Reason for design: I love Netherwing Drakes and Firelizards, so why not make a firelizard that looks like a Netherwing Drake? Story: Caught in a storm while engrossed in sketching the shore, Kellar stumbles upon a small clutch of Firelizard eggs that were abondoned by its mother, most likely a green, who had been scared away by the storm. Almost all of the eggs had been broken, probably eaten by an opportunistic preadator. Only one egg was still whole and seemed to hold life. Not wanting the little firelizard baby inside to perish, Kellar quickly takes the egg before the waves get too high and wash it away. Once back inside he quickly gets a nest set up with some sand, warmed by a small fire. He takes care of the egg in hopes that the little flit will survive. (And what a lovely surprise if he succeeds!)

His chest and inner legs are a lighter shade, more of a creamy brown color. Reference: Pic PicStage: Egg Reason for design: I actually saw a gold hummingbird outside one morning. Story: Keira would definitely faint if Talis gave it to her, I know I would for sure getting handed an egg. I couldn't think of a good reason to why a poor farmer's daughter would/could buy a Flit on her own, and seeing the others who have Flits with them in such companionship kind of makes her feel sad.

Username: naree Character: Zhaylan Name: Nuisy *short for nuisance* Color: Blue or Green *whichever would work best with the design idea* Design: It doesn't matter which color he gets, so long as it is a "lesser color"; as for any design, I would love the creature to be mottled in appearance like it fell in several paint pots and came out worse for wear. Reference: Random spot, And another, More randomStage: Egg please Reason for design: Zhaylan is an artist, so the only reason he may keep the egg is because it appeals to him visually. He would want to paint it, sketch it and eventually care for it. Story: (will be acquired right before he gets comes to the Hatching and gets Searched) Zhaylan scowled angrily at the girl fidgeting in front of him. This was the third time in at least a candle mark she was playing with her hair. He would never get her portrait done if she did not hold still. Running a hand through his hair, he forgot that there was wet paint still on his hands. The Master was very clear he couldn't yell at this one, she was the daughter of some Holder or whatever. Personally, he didn't care. "Miss-er... Please hold still. The sooner I can get you drawn, the sooner you can leave." This was Zhaylan at his best. Being terse and polite. The girl made a rude noise but dropped her hand to her lap and tried not to roll eyes at him. An hour later, Zhaylan done with the brat's sketch. All he would have to do would be to go back and add the color in later. It was something he did on a regular basis considering how "salty" he could be with some people. Tersa had tried over and over again to instill some friendliness in her boy but to no avail. Gathering up his supplies, Zhay made his way to the Holder for payment. Half a mark for a upper body portrait with color. He had the contract in hand. Manners and such required him to be much more polite to a Lord Holder. "Sir? I am finished my work. You will have the final result at the end of this sevenday." Zhaylan tried not to mumble, tried not to growl, tried not to do anything that would get him in trouble. The Lord Holder looked up from his paperwork and nodded. "Please, may I see your work so far? I have been reassured you are one of the best for portraits." Reluctantly, Zhaylan moved forward and handed over his artwork. Did he really have to give it away? Well, he wasn't giving it away, it was being paid for... But still... It was his. He cringed when the Holder grabbed the skin and moved his hands around it. The oils from human skin! Still, Zhaylan managed to keep his tongue as the Lord handed his drawing back. "Very nice, Artist. Now about your payment. I know our contract states a half mark for payment but I thought of something much nicer!" The Lord Holder looked quite pleased with himself. He turned around and grabbed two small jars filled with sand. He placed them gently on the table before them. "I recently came across a couple of fire lizard eggs. Make sure to take one back to your Master but the other is yours. It's small, so probably just a green or a blue. But you can sell it for more than a mark or keep it for yourself. I heard the creatures are rather good at fetching." Shards! What was he supposed to do? The eggs were certainly more than his commission rate but he really didn't want a flit egg. Maybe his Master could take both and give him the half mark? That sounded fair to him. Nodding, Zhaylan reluctantly took the jars of clay. "Good lad! Just make sure to keep the sands warm and turn them every hour or so. They are close to hatching. The big one is probably a brown, that's for your Master. The little one is more than likely a green." Nodding once more, Zhaylan grabbed the pots though not roughly and headed out the door. He bowed and made the appropriate comments needed for his escape. Heading down towards the stables, Zhaylan was ready to get back to his Hall. Carefully arranging the jars as well as his arts supplies, Zhaylan allowed himself to be seated in a travel wagon and be headed back to the Hall. Later... "Now that was nice of Holder Braggel to give us a couple of fire lizard eggs. I have wanted a creature for myself for a while now." Master Harper Lenyos chortled. "And one for yourself as well? What a great honor, I hope you plan on keeping it." Zhaylan tried not to frown at that statement. He didn't think it an honor but a nuisance waiting to hatch. He had enough to worry about without a small mouth to feed and ruin his best brushes as well. The thing would probably break his pots and and have his room in all sorts of disarray. "Um...about that... Master...sir...." "What, Zhaylan? Think of how helpful the little creature could be to you. Fetching things for Tersa and keeping your area free from pests. Sending messages. I do hope you plan on keeping it." The Master replied, indicating that Zhaylan had no real choice in the matter. He personally thought it was time for the boy to take an interest in something other than himself and his art. He gave his best "Master stare" and waited to see if Zhay would try to get out of it. "I guess, I can take it back to Tersa. She might like to have the creature around. And the ho--er, Holder Braggel did fulfill the contract with the eggs as payment." He said this almost sullenly. Taking the smaller pot and carefully positioning it, he bowed slightly. "Thank you for the gift, Master. I am sure...most delightful creature...Go check on Tersa now." And with that, Zhaylan gave another bow and headed out of the Master's room. Looking down at the pot with disgust, he could only hope that Tersa would be more interested in the nuisance than he was-there was no way to sell or trade it now. Master Lenyos hadn't given him a choice. Sighing, the artist went back to his room to finish up the commission he had been "paid" for. Nothing but a nuisance, he was sure of it.
