I absolutely love ALL final fantasy games and even if they made a horrific game that ruined their whole reputation, i would STILL love them!

I think final fantasy X was absolutely amazing, the colors, the graphics, they storyline.. they all meshed together. My favorite aspect of the game was the music because it was a little new from what you usually hear on the final fantasy games. For example, when tidus is about to play blitzball at the beginning of the game, the heavy metal that plays is awesome! i think it really worked up the whole mood of that scene.

As for FFX-2, the music did go a little downwards, it was very.. pop-y and sometimes didnt make sense with what they were doing, but overall i think it was amazing once again! i mostly think this because we were able to revisit worlds that we have already gone to and fallen in love with. I can't be too strong about the storyline as ive never finished it but in the end..

*SPOILER COMING UP! STOP READING IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW*

The fayth once located in Bevelle appear before Yuna and thanks her as well. He then asks her if she would like to see "him" again. Should the player reply "Yes" - and a sufficient percentage of the game's optional storyline has been completed - the fayth locate Tidus' scattered pyreflies and send them to Besaid, where they reform. Thus, when Yuna returns home, she is reunited with Tidus.

I didn't like the story as much as I did in FFX, or did I likeRikku's thief costume. I'm glad they made Yuna a bit more independant. I loved the music. The new battle system was ok, but OMG trigger happy's so fun.

I really enjoyed FFX-2, I saw it as harmless fun. I LOVED all the outfits, they inspired me to try & design similiar outfits for the rest of the FF girls. =D

Flyr
I was kind of dissapointed after FFX, since I started on FF9 and worked my way backwards to FF7. When FFX-2 was coming out, I was so thrilled. I got it, and I couldn't stand it. I didn't like the new Battle system, the plot sucked because there basically was only a few pieces of nothing thrown at you every hour or so, the characters were awful, and the girls wore practically nothing! If it was supposed to be the first FF directed to girls(which is what I heard), then why is showing us this? XII is supposed to be taken under new management, so I'm wondering what that's going to be like. If you liked Final Fantasy X-2, please state your opinions. I want to hear what you guys thought of it.

I will argue my point about this game until I die. I swear. The fact that they clothing changed shouldn't matter. There is only really ONE dress sphere that shows more skin than the average female would and that would be the thief. The skirts are short and the tops are tiny.

Alchemist, Black Mage, Dark Knight, Mascot, Samurai, Trainer, Psychicker, White Mage, and their personal spheres cover their ENTIRE bodies. Argue with me and I'll call you blind (not you Iva . . . I'm saying anyone).

Gun Mage, Berserker, Warrior, Lady Luck, Festival Goer, and Songstress show nothing more than what the average female would in a tank top and a pair of shorts. Rikku's berserker being the exception. Hers is more bathing suit. Which leads me to the thief.

Thief shows less than what someone in a swimming stui would wear. Therefore it's not slutty. Are they being provocative? No. They're not. If you're saying the way they dress is slutty . . . then everyone is slutty. Anyone who wears shorts, who covers their bodies, who wear a swimming suit. All. Sluts.

You guys are only looking at the skimpiest dress shpere and basing everything else off that ONE sphere. Bad idea.

I posted this in another forum because everyone thinks that they dress like skanks/sluts. HONESTLY people! GO LOOK AT THE PICTURES! I swear! You people are BLIND! (not you in general flyr. I'm talking about everyone who says this.)

I just started playing FFX-2 yesterday and I was very confused at first, but I've started to get the hang of the battle system. I really, really love the costumes. They're awesome. They're wonderful. They're magnificent. As for the plot....I don't know much about it since I'm pretty much only 5% done xp

I couldn't get into the game. It's sitting on my videogame shelf gathering dust.

...I liked the music though. xd

X-2 was a bit disappointing. The one I bought had a glitch and wouldn't let me get passed a certain mission.

The characters were cute...but it really wasn't the best game.

I really liked X-2.

The costume designs I really enjoyed. Even though they were very skimpy, I've gotten used to it, considering how females are ALWAYS scantily clad in video games.

I really liked the idea of real time battle, job/dress-sphere system, and the how the characters move around the enemie sometimes during battle.

Storyline was good. I liked how Yuna tries to find Tidus through the whole thing (so sweet!) and the Lenne and Shuyin story was sad (so bittersweet!).

The characters were nicely developed. Yuna explores her fun and girly side. Rikku's as perky as ever. And Paine is such a bad-a** girl! Those three new guys were interesting too. the male counterparts to the three girls. though Tidus is the only one for Yuna! I didn't like Brother though, he's grossie!!

The game is definitley worth getting the 100% for the perfect ending. It really is perfect.

Not a favorite, but willing to play over again.

I was excited about it too until I actually played it. They should've put more work into the game and their costumes. Although I did like Paine's outfit. xd The dresspheres were annoying and the bosses except Angra Mainyu were extremely easy to me. I think changing over to Square Enix screwed them all up. xp

Meh, to me... it was a 50/50 kinda thing. I felt like there wasn't much of a background. Except fly around to places you've ALREADY been too and just do random stuff. The story line was OK though, and I was happy Yuna was still looking for Tidus.

I did like the outfits ( skippy or not! ) It brought back the original FF classes, and that really made me happy. 3nodding FF8 being the first game I played, I was hooked! FF7 made it even better! FF9... well I wasn't too happy about that one. I wasn't to excited about 10, but watched my best friend play it and thought I'd give it a shot! Loved it and was happy when FFX2 came out.

Except.. i never heard it was towards the girls... more for the guys...Mostly being a whole girl series and all..

But like I said, the graphics were kickin, the outfits were freakin' sweet!, and I loved the characters.

Paine roxors my soxors! ( Lame l337 i know ^^: )

xd That's a good way of putting it...

I enjoyed FFX-2, but like a lot of people, I didn't particularly like the skimpy outfits... FFX=Yuna 1... FFX-2=Yuna 2... whoa talk2hand But I looked past it cause you see it in a lot of games...
Paine looked a lot like Lulu to me... which was kind of cool but kind of not, 'cause I would've liked Lulu to be in it as a main... whee
Like lonely_lily, I was happy Yuna was looking for Tidus, too... ninja

Overall, I liked the game, but, I put the other FF games above it on my list...

I am afraid to say, that I enjoyed FFX-2. Rikku is pretty much my idol. I don't even know why. But I love her. Maybe that's why I enjoyed FFX-2 so much. I really liked that each costume had different ablities, but I too think it's lame in a way. I liked the battle system, though it was a cause for my many defeats. Oh well, I liked it.
