I dunno... the tree is neat, and the trunk legs could make some cool avatars...
the Techno mage is kinda ugly, but the gun and wrench staff could make a decent Max from Dark Chronicle(/Cloud 2).

I got one simply for the gun.
And speaking for guns, that's what we need...a good assault rifle. Sure, we've got the nano-c, assassin's guise, and the human bazooka from this past Halloween, but we still don't have a really good modern assault rifle. I'm talking M-16, AK-47, or the XM-8
Or maybe even something Israeli, like the Tavor TAR-21...

I sort of like Spring Nymph, it might be something I could use on one of my older avatars.
Techno mage is probably my least favorite MC of all time right now, I like the belt pose but the rest I could never use. D:

I am distressed. both were wonderful ideas.
It seems like Gaia is putting more effort into thier cash shop junk these days which makes me very sad.

I've been trying to find a way to make a good Max Avatar. I'm getting close. Anyway, critical much, guys? I actually like both items very much, they're VERY well done, compared to 2008's EIs, which are probably the worst we've ever had. At least 2009's EIs so far are probably on par with most EIs. The Technomage gun is actually one of the best guns ever given on Gaia, and the Nymph would go great with the upcoming Gogh Reed.

I bought a pair of Techno Mage, I like the Belt and its nice to have a backpack that looks good from the front. The Pandy Pack only goes so far.

Cuatela Actually, some of the '08 MC's were pretty good, such as Assassin's Guise, Black Ops Gear, and Kong Sang Scarf. The assassin's guise was complete crap, but the other two I won't disagree with. And the reason the assassin's guise was so bad is outlined in the following: 1) The cloak is impossible to match and unwieldy on top of that. 2) The katars point funny. 3) The guns are ugly and oddly positioned when held. 4) Red tracer dot is useless.... actually that may be fun to see in ZOMG.

The hatsworth quest item was a better item than either EI this month. >_>

As for the EIs......Nymph looks cool.......well the tree anyways.........when I first heard they were having a steampunk item my first thought was "-_- You gotta be kidding me *shakes head in dissaproval*". Why? Because my friend had been talking about the style and drawing fashion and the like of it......needless to say her designs......were less than desirable to me......................and when this came out..........I knew it was gonna be bad............didn't know why............didn't dissapoint though..........TIM.........TIM has style when it comes to steampunk, and I rather enjoy how he pairs stuff together..........But lets face it....the MCs sucked...I do like the backpack and staff though, But I don't buy things just for two of alot of poses........I'm harajuku and even I know that that is a stupid thing to do.

I agree, the sponsor items are starting to get good. This gives the sponsors a reason to sponsor Gaia now, though, because the better the item it is, the more people will think about buying the sponsor's merchandise when it gets to stores.
It says more than the MCs now, though. They are truly giving them the $2.49 GCash treatment, compared to Cash Shop standards.
