Hi, my name is Carli Jones and i play the viola....duh, but anywayz, I am a frehman in high school and have been playing since the beginning of fifth grade so, ... ... ... ummm, I alwayz get first chair (not bragging) and also i play piano, guitar, and i love to sing. ... ... ... Bye! smile

Hey there! My name is Catherine and I've been playing viola in the past year, and I love it! (Yeah I'm pretty new at this sort of stuff)
I'm in first chair in my whole grade, and also do private lessons. (My teacher is old, but he is funny!)
There are about 10 violists in my grade.
A cello player asked me how I practiced, since I was in first chair, and I said every day (usually), and he said that I had no life... dork.... xp
Nobody in my Orchestra class ever practices, so my teachers get ticked off a lot, especially with the bass players.

That's cool. My school orchestra is a mix of all grades because we're only like 30 students. There are only 5 violists in my orchestra.
I hardly practice my viola so i'd fit right into your orchestra! 3nodding

Hi all! I'm one of Sammy's aforementioned best friends. I have been playing the viola since the middle of my third grade year. I absolutely love it and the idea of quitting orchestra has never crossed my mind once. I have had my favorite viola since the sixth grade and his name is Stevi Bob with his gay lover Senor Carlos (my bow) and my other teensy viola is Lady Macbeth and Mercutio (I went through a Shakespeare phase).
I also dabble in playing Mallet Percussion and I was in marching band this year...randomly. But whilst I play in Concert Band I will always be an orch-dork (a newly loved phrase! Thanks guys!!!).
This guild will make me active on gaia. <333

Hola, name's Lauren.
I've been playing viola since 6th grade---Our orchestra was invited to the Midwest Clinic last year, so I got to travel to Chicago, and it was amazing with all of the snow.
Next year im going into the high school and we may get to play in Disneyworld...so I'm excited!
I hope to play viola and get a scholarship for college.

 My name is Rosa. I have been playing the viola since 4th grade, but I had to pratice by myself in 8th grade since I move. They don't have Orchestra where I live now. I choose the viola because it seemed like everyone wanted to know how to play the violin.I love playing the viola.It's a very beautiful instrument.

I'm BB. I'm a Viola addict! xd I've been playing the Viola since 5th grade, and I'm going to be in 9th grade next year. (So, I've been playing for 4 years, going on 5). My viola's name is Lelouch and my bow's name is Aster. heart I'm first chair, and have been first for a while now...about two years. NOT bragging, sorry if I offended anyone. sweatdrop Well anyway, I hope I can get to know some more Violists! mrgreen

I'm Sushi. I've been playing viola since 5th grade and I'm a junior in high school now, so I've been playing for quite a while. Before 5th grade I really wanted to play violin, but then when the teacher was demonstrating all the instruments we could choose I heard the viola and picked it cause it sounded so much prettier than the violin. I'm ashamed to admit that I'd never even heard of a viola before that point.

I've been playing Caramel Thunduh since the 6th grade and is now in the 8th.
Over the past 3 years I've been performing with the CC honor orchestra, participated in the district 6 honor clinic, and will be attending a magnet school of the arts for orchestra ;3

My Name is Marilyn and i'm in 8th grade
I played the violin for a few months switched to cello and played that for 3 years and am now playing viola. I also play gutair in my jazz band, play piano, and sing!

Okay so, um HIYA! My Name is Lauren, or larblue. I have been playing the viola for about 2-3 years now, and I absolutely love it! And I have ADHD, so imagine how hard it was to learn how to play. Im also learning to play guitar, cello, and violin. Ummm, Ummmm......... Im first chair, out of three which is kind of sad. there is only three viola's in my whole school orchestra. crying When Im not practicing, Im singing listening to music, doing homework, working on my website -under construction- or doing whatever random crap pops into my brain.

We only have three violas, too crying But we're a team and we don't have section leaders in our string orchestra. We even got t-shirts for the three of us. Welcome aboard!
