Maybe after the whole thing with Atem, Yuugi hit puberty himself! xd Now Yuugi can reach the top shelf on his own! I'm so proud of him! Our little protagonist is groing up! *sniff* Maybe one day he won't need to convince those waitors to not give him kid's menus one day! Oh! They grow up so fast! Pretty soon, he'll figure out how to use chloroform on his own. heart heart heart So proud. So proud. and maybe he'll actually be taller than someone else! *sniff* i'm so proud of him! *sniff* ... He's totally taller than Ed from- ...oh wait. He's not. Nevermind. ^-^; eh-heh...

I dont like GX, for one no Kaiba and they dont even show any of the other characters from the old one. I mean why call it Yu-gi-oh w/o any of the original characters. The only reason I watch it is to hear some of my fave VAs

Thats true, I watch it for when its bad, then I have the right to say it is. Since Ive seen it, but actually, it seems to becoming more interesting. Especially the duel with that guy with the fake puzzle, but then the millenium eye appeared and it was real. I didnt see the episode after that, but it seemed to get interesting.

hey i like GX..... the point of it to is give everyone a new look of Duel Monsters and not use any of the other characters... and it doesn't matter because you can see so many of the characters from YGO in GX.

jagged1 hey i like GX..... the point of it to is give everyone a new look of Duel Monsters and not use any of the other characters... and it doesn't matter because you can see so many of the characters from YGO in GX. It's nice that they give a nod to the original chara every now and again, but in a way, it's a little sad. I don't mean that to be mean, but, come on. Even in Japan, it hadn't been a year before GX came out after then end of Yuugiou: Duel Monsters. It makes it seem like the original chara are from so long ago, and that they're showing you little whisps of familiarity just to keep you watching. Now, I think it's sweet that they show hints of past characters sometimes, but the reasoning behind why isn't so nice. It's disheartening.

I dont like the new look on duel monsters, to futeristic. I mean it was pretty high tech in the original series, but this is way to much. I liked how it was new, but it still had the old feeling to it. GX went to far, just like Pokemon, they shouldve ended while it was good. Now its just stupid. And I hate the new charatcers, they became like other animes placing a fat kid in the picture, the art bothers me to no end. I hate how the characters are drawn. thats what mainly pisses me off. The storyline also to me is rather disappointing, I think they should have ended it after memory arc, leave a good legacy.

I know me too! I hate that thing, thats the most crackpot thing Ive seen happen to Yugioh. Hell, I dont think they should call it Yugioh anymore, it barely shows the original Yugioh cast. It should be called something like, " Duel Monsters GX " from the creators of Yugioh.

Hell, I dont think they should call it Yugioh anymore, it barely shows the original Yugioh cast. It should be called something like, " Duel Monsters GX " from the creators of Yugioh. one sec...*gets the last vol. of yuugiou out from her room* yup. all there. I'm looking at the picture in the last volme of Yuugiou, in the back. I'm sure we've all heard about it. it says "Yu-Gi-Oh!" on the top and "Next Generation" on the bottom. The concept of GX was originially one sketch of concept art drawn by Takahashi for the yuugiou fans in the last book. That was all we got. The chara on the book were Asuka, Judai, Sho, Ryu(who is looking abgry in th upper left backround), a student character that we have yet to meet, with the fake shadowrealm guy shadowed behind them all. Now, this would be all well and good, there's even an image of the school in the backround. But...there's something odd about this mysterious GX picture. Seto is there too. looking to the side, we see Seto's silohette(sp?) with him giving that whole determinded angst look. he is not shadowed, nor is he hidden at all. It is clearly Seto Kaiba, with the big studded coat and everything. Ryu's large backroud picture is in front of Seto's however, showing that he is a larger role than Seto, who is still present, yet myteriously so. (Ryo has a large general's collar, WTF?) THAT is what GX forgot to add in. They forgot to add in Seto's actual presence in the series. They couldn't bear to have a yuugiou show with Seto and not Yuugi, so they nixed the whole idea of having Seto be more of a major character, and gave Yuugi a walk-on role in the first episode. If there's any reason for you to hate GX, anything at all to pick to loathe about it... don't say "there aren't any yuugiou chara what were they thingking?!" Because there was supposed to be. Don't say "There's no plot" Because there was supposed to be. Don't say "Takahashi didn't have anything to do with it" Because there was supposed to be. If you have any reason to loathe GX, it's because there was supposed to be. A plot, the original characters be more involved, Takahashi's ideas, all of it. THAT'S why you should hate GX - because it was supposed to be good. It was supposed to be for the fans not whoring out the "yuugiou" label.
