Charley silently watched the warehouse with keen suspicious eyes. Holding her bow at the ready and a silver tipped arrow between her fingers. It seemed these bloodsuckers were using guard dogs. She watched as the somewhat ramshacked individuals paced in jittery and almost frightened steps. Interesting. Must mean this was a pretty serious meeting. She gave a sardonic smile. This was going to be fun. She touched the pretty high-tec walkie talkie. "Hey 'Big E'. I think this is going to be pretty serious." She waited for the broken voice to come through the speaker. "Just be careful, 'Archer'. Don't get hurt. I really wished you would have let me give you a couple of backup personel." His voice had a distinct desperational hope ring to it. "E just relax. I work better under pressure. You ring out the assignment, I complete it. The end." She clicked off the walkie talkie for good measure. She hadfn't removed her eyes from the pups yet. Taking one silent deep breath in she pulled the bbow taunt and let it go.
V crossed his arms as he listened to this ancient. It might have seemed strange for a nineteen year old to be listening intently to what seemed to be a 4 year old, but the girl was ages older than some of the oldest lamia elders. "I still don't understand why these mungrels have to guard us as though we were defenseless kittens." Her voice rung with the guilish bell sound that young children used, but her eyes were a cynical and saracastic contrast. V laughed. "Only to give us fair warning if those persistent vermin slayers decide to break up our party." The little girls lips pouted. "It's completely ridiculous."

Slipping a ski mask over her face she charged in. She took down the pups with silent ease. But then a young blonde vamp male burst out the door.
"Dammit!" V burst outside and saw the small petite girl with bow and arrows taunt and ready to release. "Are you an idiot!?" He yelled. This girl was an idiot if she thought she was going to get out alive.

Luella wiped the moisture of the log, then sat down. She had heard an old witch was in the area, and had immediately taken the offer to kill it. It was early evening, with night quickly approaching. Luella preferred using the cover of darkness to kill any members of the Nightworld. It made the operation a whole lot easier, at least she wouldn't be spotted. Through the trees, she spotted a cottage, the one that the witch lived in. The lights were off, either the witch wasn't home or she hadn't bothered to turn on the lights. She unpacked the little knapsack she brought, it was about time Luella had some dinner. It wasn't the best meal, only a small ham and cheese sandwich, but it was all she could make under a minute's notice. She had unpacked an odd array of tools and some more familiar witch-hunting ones: a crossbow, some iron-tipped arrows and a whole load of spherical objects covered in spikes. The bombs each had a little label on them that read "Iron spiked bombs, only to be used as last resort." The bombs were Luella's own invention, one that she had worked on shortly after her parents had been killed. I'll get you witch there's no doubt about that. She silently said in her head. The windows in the cottage lit up, indicating that the owner was home. Luella smiled, now she would take action.

Red didn't have a clue as to where she was. Surrounded by tree's yet covered in an eery silence. She pulled her hood over her long blond hair, and then she held her breath, straining to hear something, anything!
In the distance she could faintly hear the cries and howls of the wolves being killed, and she mentally grimaced, though her face was calm. Just turn the other way. Walk to the end and go home. Red murmered, spinning 180 degree's and then gingerly took a step forward.

Charley wondered how the vamp had heard her onslaught even for vampire ears her attack had been completely silent. She pressed her mouth into a firm line and remained silent.
V laughed. The girls thoughts where loud enough as she had approached the warehouse. Not to mention the instant cutoff of the ravenous thoughts of the werewolves had been completely and swiftly cut off without warning. He saw using his periphreal vision that the pups had been peirced right in their temples. It was almost unreal the accuracy comin g from this small girl.

Don't do it Red, mind your own buisness. Her mind told her, even as she turned again and started silenlty towards where the sounds had drawn her attention.
As she came closer, she stopped off behind a clump of tree's, knowing that her red cloak probably wasn't the best thing to be wearing, though she was imfamous for it. She noted the dead werewolves with an aching heart, and sh eclosed her deep blue eyes for a moment of silence.

Charley let loose her arrow and V intercepted it with ease. The little girl vanished without a trace. Charley instantly had another arrow ready to go. "I don't know what you're planning Willows, but I won't have humans suffering because of you! Not anymore, monster!"
Oh, yes. He remembered this girl she'd escaped the last time they had run acrossed each other but he wouldn't make that mistake again. He had been making a secret trade with another lamia family who happened to have their daughters living on an island with only 'cows' to feed on. Which were basically human's who had been bred to be fed on. But the girls had wanted to start to give chase so he was giving them some fresh stock from the city. "Shut up vermin!" He was had her hand around her throat and smiled letting his lip curl showing his teeth. Then turning saw the flicker of red cloth in the trees. He laughed heartily. "Red! I havn't seen you since we were kids!"

Shaylene "Red" Adamscheck grimanced at the sound of V's voice. Vitae. Has it been that long? Her musical voice carried easily over the space, and she leaned out from one of the larger tree's, her eyes hidden by the brim of her hood. Told you not to come this way. Her concience chastised. But what are they doing? Red wondered, trying carefully to keep her thought's her own.

Charley saw the girl, and used te distraction and manually stabbed V one his shoulder with her wooden arrow. Making him recoil enough to let her go.
"Dammit! You minx!" He growled as the girl ran away and dissappeared. Guess he would kill her next time. He rubbed his shoulder and sighed heavily as he winced in pain. "You come at the most awful times, Love. At least that hasn't changed." He'd probably pick on the girl until death. Which for him, would be a long time.

Red reached out to warn V before Charley could get him, but the words wouldn't come from her throat until this girl had already gone. Hesitantly, Red crept out from the tree's and walked closer, still leaving enough ground between herself and Vitae to calm her conciounce. Hehe, yes. Well I wasn't coming here to see you. I didn't even know you were still around. Red's words came out cold, with a harsh edge though her voice made them sound beautiful none-the-less. A breeze picked up and teased her hood, ruffling ehr hair around her face.

Luella silently made her way to the cottage. She instantly tried to blank out her mind. Some members of the Nightworld could read thoughts, and Luella didn't want to risk getting caught. She had reached the back of the cottage, then she broke out into a cold sweat - Luella had heard the distinct howl of werewolves. Save the witch for later, I'm off to kill those nasty werewolves. I should've known, tonight is the full moon. Luella turned around then slapped herself. You dolt! what if this is a spell by the witch? Screamed a voice within Luella. Well even if it's a spell I've already probably given myself away by all this thinking! She turned away, back to the forest, heading to the direction of the howling.

"Oh! Dearest Shaylene! Aren't I always around?" He laughed again. His wound was healing, but extremely slow. "Don't mind the pups. They had already become crazed." He said off handedly.

Charley breathed heavily as she set motorcycle up against Vinny's Restaurant. She stretched in a chair she'd chosen inside as E walked in. "Hey Elliot." She said blankly. Elliot was cute with his now overgrown hair and lopsided grin. His glasses gave him the look of a fullgrown, windswept, Harry Potter. She smiled. "Charley..." He began in exasperation. "I told you. You needed backup-" "You were right she said sheepishly. "and you can't list- w-what!?" "I said you were right, E." He sat down across from her table. "Well, that's a first." He scratched his head as he picked up a menu. Charley did as well. "Saying that, it doesn't mean I can accept backup." Elliot shook his head still skimming his eyes down the menu. "Of course it wouldn't mean that." Saracasm dripping from his words.

At the mention of 'the pups' Shaylene looked down at the bodies that litteed the floor, and sadness crossed her features. But what was it that made them lose their mind, hmm? She asked him. The wind finally knocked her hood back, and she made no attempt to pull it back over her head. Blue eyes locked into V's, and she frowned. It's horrible. Red whispered, both about the lost lives and Vitae's wound.

V looked at the werewolves. "Who knows what made them lose their minds. But as far as the wound..." He grimanced in disgust at his torn shirt and jacket. "I'm more peeved about the clothes." He shrugged nonchalant. "The pups will be given rest properly, no worries." He grinned. "And humans will always be this way. They have two mechanisms fright or fight. Either way they are all just frightened kittens or ignorant cows." He laughed at the last part.
