"Kana, sir!" She said. She looked at across the street at the warehouse. "Hang on. I sense traps." She aimed her gun and shot. There was no noise because of the silencer. Suddenly, there was a small explosion which wiped out everyone inside. Slowly, she turned to look at the man. "I knew it. Suicide bomb." She sighed. "5th one this week."

"Damn Rebels...I lose more and more men to them everyday...Call the cleaner squad to come down here and clean this up and then tell them to make a roster of the missing or deceased. Hardest part of the job is to report the dead."

Keruin already didn't like the recruit's method, but she got the job done, even if it wasn't how he would have liked to deal with suicide bomber. Keruin didn't have any other reports of Rebel activity today, so for the time, things were quite.

"I guess we head back to base and wait for further orders and you have a report to fill out for your actions today and another form to fill out for your enrollment in my squad."

Zahina nodded. "Yes, sir!" She walked over to the rubble, picking through it with her foot. Suddenly, she saw something glisten and leaned down to pick it up. She saw a transmittor. "Sir! This must have been the source of the transmissions!" She looked at the small object which was beeping with a message coming across the screen. The message was scrambled though.

"Good, which will be included in your report. I trust you will hand it to me?"

Keruin placed back his pistol into its holster on his belt, and then held out his hand for the transmitter. It was in his hopes that the Rebels weren't able to receive the shield schematics and use them against the Guards. This Kana recruit seemed alright so far and maybe useful in battles to come, but like any of his squad, Keruin hoped she would avoid the fate of so many before her in this battle.

Kana handed him the transmitter. "Yes, sir. It will all be in the report that I will hand to you." She gulped as she looked at him. Well, the Underground will have some new news tonight... she thought to herself quietly.

Keruin took a long look at the transmitter, and then looked at Kana. She had a nervous light in her eye. Keruin thought she must still be afraid of him and it would pass in time like most things.

"Go back to the station and fill out your report, then you can head home private, have a good night."

Keruin waved good-bye with his claw to tease Kana a bit and went off back down the alley, studying the transmitter himself to see what flaws there were. Keruin use to be an engineer after all and he knew quite a lot about technology, which was why he was able to know that the Rebels were stealing transmissions being sent to Vandor. It was in his hope the transmission s would never be decoded and used by the Rebels or this Rebellion would keep going on and more blood would be shed.

Kana nodded and headed back to the palace to make the report. After filing the report Kana nodded and began to head home, but took a turn down an alleyway and kncoked on a door.

"Password?"

"Down with Vandor."

"Correct, please enter."

Kana entered the building and came face to face with a shadowy figure. "I assume you heard the news?"

"Yes, but not to worry. Those transmissions mean nothing. They were just to throw them off."

"I figured as much."

"Good job, though leading them on like that. Keep this up and there may be a promotion in it for you."

"Yes, sir! I'll keep you updated." And with that, Kana headed home to get ready for whatever tomorrow would bring.

Keruin had no home to go to, but he had a home in the sense he had a place to stay when he was off duty. His home had gone to shambles since the death of his wife, since Keruin was never home long enough to clean it up. It was messy even when his wife was alive, but much cleaner at least, she did have her own job after all.

When Keruin came home every day, he had memories attack his mind of what he lost and this was what driven to keep fighting against the Underground. Getting through today's return home, Keruin went upstairs and hooked up his suit to the wall; he needed to charge up his suit daily, though it had a power cell that lasted for a good week. After he connected up, Keruin then connected up his suit to the nutriment dispenser to get his required amount of nutrients in order to function properlly.

Keruin was still human under all that machine and humans still dreamed despite their situations. Every night he would dream of the young involved in this war who had died, even the Rebel recruits he saw killed hurt him a little inside. Every night death haunted him, but not of his own. At the end of each dream, he remembered his daughter and thinks she is dead along with the others in his dreams.

Kana awoke the next morning, the sun shining brightly in her face as she sat up in her bed and yawned. She streched out a bit and got up, shuffling through all the dirty clothes, soda cans and food wrappers. She quickly got ready and dressed and headed to the Palace, ready to begin her day.

Setsuki stood from her chair in the corner of her room and got ready for the new day. Which was usually helping the Underground, without her father knowing. He was happy about Vandor's ruling. She felt it was unbelievable, even though it had almost nothing to do with her. Before leaving, Setsuki took one of the Sniper guns she had taken when she was with the Korizon Guard. She left the home, and headed for the Slums of the city, where she passed her time. Seeing that there were no guards lurking around this early in the morning, she decided to visit what was left of the park. She used to play in the park with her friends, who had moved, because they felt it wasn't safe anymore. It wasn't. Half of the park was ruined, and the other half was left as it was. The statue was smack down in the middle of it all, and half of it was also destroyed. I guess whoever did this was pretty meticulous about how they wanted to leave it. She saw a guard coming in the distance. He looked pretty important, and the uniform looked familiar. She assumed it was the Korizon Guard, patrolling 24/7. She couldn't show her face to them anymore, since she was caught giving information to the Underground. She took hiding behind one of the pillars around the corner, making sure she was out of sight, but still being able to see.
