Razil listened, while not getting up as he was still checking Hikari's pulse. He chuckled a bit at Layla's last comment.
"A bad situation? Really? Come my dear, you can be more tactful than that."
He got up, still laughing and satisfied that his cellmate was still healthy.
"Yes" he began again "This is a very bad situation. Nine members of Soul Society have been kidnapped by the Arrancar, and from the sounds of it we are to be guinea pigs to them. Not only this, but there are several of the more powerful ones here, therefore depriving Soul Society from its elite."
He sat on the cool surface of the cell, sighing a bit. He looked over at Kurai and noticed how pale she was.
She is panicking... he thought.
"Kurai! Take a deep breathe. You are in a cell, this is true. But it is a lot larger than you think. Just sit down, breathe and calm down, ok?" he said this in a soothing tone. As an after thought, he tore a medium-sized piece of cloth from his robes. Taking a knife from a hidden pocket, he folded the cloth together and pinned it on the tip. Razil then tossed the knife through the bars of his own cage into hers, where it stuck in the ice.
"I just threw a piece of cloth pinned to a knife's blade to you. It is made of a special material and infused with certain herbs. If you breathe it in, it will soothe your emotions to help you calm down, and negate poisons in the air. Keep the knife as well, it might be useful." Looking at her, still concerned, Razil spoke to the other two who were conscious.
"Layla, Eme, are you two hurt at all?" His tone was soft, kind. Razil truly cared for his comrades, despite what people thought, and he wouldn't see them hurt for the world.

Lemo instantly snatched up the device, using sonido. Then in a blur he reappeared by his computer desk for a second, placing the cloth and the blade down, aiming to look into it later. Instantly then he reappeared in front of Kuraime's cell.
"What is this nonsense about!? You, what is you malfunction, shinigami one?" he said, pointing demandingly at Kurai.

Razil remained calm, though inside the anger immediately flared up.
b*****d... he said mentally, cursing the 9th Espada.
"She is blind Arrancar, and panicking. I was only trying to calm her down a bit, nothing more. If you wont permit her to have the knife, at least let her have the cloth, wouldn't want one of your precious test subjects dying of hyperventilation, would we?" Razil sneered a bit, saying the last mockingly.
He looked again at Kurai, analyzing his options.
I could always try it again, I have enough of that cloth to waste...but Jack Frost over there would probably just take it again...damn his bones!
"Why are we here, Noveno Espada. Why did you take us?"

Kurai was about to reply, masking her surprise at his sudden appearance, but Razil answered for her. Though she appreciated his attempting to protect her, she got the feeling she would be singled out for her blindness, now. But that was secondary. Her confinement was really getting to her, no matter what Razil had instructed. She couldn't breath, she couldn't think. It was making her revert to her buried feral instincts. She slammed a fist against the door, bruising it on the icy surface.
"Let me out. Now," She couldn't tell whether she shook from panic or fury. A good deal of that panic wasn't reserved for her situation or the arrancar before it. She could feel something darker stirring inside. These cages were driving her to the edge. She worried about falling into that darkness more than anything.
The dark, Datenshi, didn't think rationally like she did. She did as She pleased, and the seals normally enforced by her zanpaku-to's constant vigilance didn't seem to be working. Datenshi shifted in her sleep. She usually didn't move under the poppy's grip.
It's fading.. "Let me out," She repeated, failing to hide the panic in her voice.

Akira was knocked out from traveling trough the void of space, an infanent strech of darkness. For Akira this place was worse than anything it put the abilities of his eyes against him as he began to lose himself and his mind with in it. Yet he was able to spot the others clearly with in infinity. The level of how insignificant he was for those few seconds were crippiling. Akira fell unconsious before exiting, yet he was overwelmed enough by th sight of light that he teared up a bit.
His head trobbed as everything spun When Akira found himself with his back against a a freezing cold white wall which seemed to be apart of a cage. Akira looked down to notice Torsin in his lap knocked out. With out much thought Akira quickly pushed him off, rolling him away from him. As Akira slowly grew more aware of his surroundings he could hear Kurai and Razil yelling at an individual. Akira quickly put the pieces together, he ran to his cell door ignoring the freezing cold that bith at his skin to touch looking over to Genji and Hirimi's cell. He noticed Lala to his left as well she seemed well enough to be watch the going ons as well. then he saw him, the ninth espada Lemo.
To this day Akira never was able to set his eyes upon this character, but the rumors of how he carried out his business caught Akiras ever wondering attention. Looking at Razils angry face akira called out to him to see if he was okay or where the others he say in the void where. At this point it didn't occur to Akira to use his goggles to do so.
" Razil! Is everything okay...whats happened to the others and how long was I out for." turning his attention back to Lemo Akira eyes began to blaze a bright purlpe. " So your Lemo, the descripition of you is spot on. So what are here for, and why use?' Akira wanted to get right to the point on this matter. For Akira knowing this was comforting, it was in his character to feel at peace knowing how far into things he was, be it go or bad.

Hikari groaned and lifted a hand to her head. She had a headache but from what she could tell, she hadn't hit her head on anything. She felt for a bump, to be sure.
Slowly she opened her eyes, careful not to let the lights disorient her. Her eyes had always been sensitive to light when she first woke. She tried to take a deep breath but found her throat was dry and painful from what she hoped had been sleep.
Hikari coughed and looked around, glad that her eyes were growing accustomed to the light so fast. Her surroundings shocked her but not as much as her reaction. She hissed as her body became stiff and rigid and her hands curled into fists.
She was sitting in a cell. Sure, it was furnished like the foyer of a house but there was no denying that it was a cell. A cell made of ice. From her position against the back wall, she could see a cell directly across from hers. She didn't bother to inspect it; she had noticed the other shinigami who she could only register to be some sort of cellmate.
Dammit, I'm stuck in a frickin' cellblock out of a christmas special! she thought irritably.
Hikari could feel her anger building up. She had always hated any type of controlled environment and anything to do with winter. Now she was trapped in what she believed to be a prime example of the two.
"What the hell?" she snarled, standing. She walked to her cellmate with every intention of demanding an explanation but stopped cold when she recognized him.
"Great, of all the people I could be stuck with in a cell, I get landed with you," she folded her arms, careful not to let the fabric catch on her concealed spikes.

"Shut the hell up, all of you! Listen, here it is LEmo-time, and I gets to do what the hell I want to do, okay? I have alot of different things to cross-examine, and ontop of that I've got to keep an eye on you babies! ******** gay because Hawk's got to come by and take you out for experiments and such here in a little while."
He turned around, and glared at Hikari and Razil, thinking that those two were goint to be a troublesome pair. He then looked back to Kurai, examining her a little closer and having his hat-screen give him a readout of her biological schematics and psychosis report.
"What is your malfunction, eh shinigami?" he taunted her.. ?

Hikari glared at the arrancar and walked to the edge of her cage. She could see the other shinigami in the cage across from her.
"What the hell is you're problem?" she demanded. "Leave her alone, you jerk. Isn't enough that we're your guinea pigs?"
Hikari didn't know everything that was going on but she had heard the word experiment and put two and two together.

"Look b***h, its bad enough I gotta take time outta my day, the miniscule moments that I have to glance my vision at the computer.." Lemo stopped dead in his tracks.
"You have no idea what all I do in my time, do you? Sad little being, you poor poor shinigami. I am far too complex of a being for you to understand. And I could give a rat's a**, you're Hawk's little experiments, not mine."
He turned around, and began walking away from their cells, back into his own area.

"I'll tell you one thing: I'm not ignorant. So you can go stuff that superior act up yours and suck on it," Hikari yelled after the retreating espada.
She glared at him, daring him to turn around. She knew she probably couldn't fight him and have a hope of winning, but no one insulted her or talked down to her. Not even an espada.
Careful, Hijuelo, the Presence whispered, barely brushing against her mind. You seem to be developing a backbone at the worst times lately.
Hi to you, too, Hikari replied. This backbone which I'm showing just so happens to be somewhat you're fault so I wouldn't be lecturing me.

Lemo snapped his fingers, and suddenly a rush of a blizzard seemed to simply come out of the wall. It blew around Lemo, and as the wind passed him, it carried an outline of him in snow. This quickly materialized as an ice-clone of him as he mumbled "total de hielo glaciar forma"
The ice-clone floated with the wind, right into the cell through the ice as if he were transperant to the obvious fath that it was a solid heirro-like bar. Ignoring Razil completely, the ice-clone grabbed Hikari by the neck, slamming her into the wall, squeezing tightly as the ice-fingers crushed indents into the wall behing her head a little bit.
"We are inside metal-incased ice which is made up of the compounds similar to that of hierro, and in the Maniak Wing's lower level! No one can hear you!"
Lemo's clone released its grip, and dissapated into snow, as Lemo laughed, still standing not too far away from them.

Hikari slid down the wall until she was sitting. She clutched her throat, wincing and gasping. She coughed and was surprised by the resulting pain.
"And what does it matters if no one can hear me?" she rasped. "I'll still keep screaming. Even if it's to a wall."

Lemo stomped his foot, getting aggrivated by the shinigami. But she did not know what Lemo would do to her if she kept her nonsense up. All he would need to do was perform a snimple move, and take her deep into the gilian forest and leave her there. It would be nothing for him to tell that ******** tool Hawk that one of his dear specimines got lost.
It was here that he looked over his shoulder with interest at what Kurai was fussing over. "Don't tell me she's claustraphobic.."

Hikari laughed. It came out cold and mirthless. She sat up a little more.

Shut up, Hikari snapped back. I shouldn't even hear you this early.
We've already established that, he replied, growing angrier. What we haven't discussed is your seeming innate need to open your mouth and make things worse.
Hikari frowned, concentrating on the mental argument and ignoring everyone else.

Hikari closed her eyes for a second to allow the pain to dissipate.

Layla heard the interaction between the Espada and Hikari, feeling a little proud of one shinigami who was willing to put up a fight so far. She smiled deviously to herself, imagining what it would be like if the prisoners led a rebellion against the Espada within his own frozen quarters.
"Wait, hold on Espada, you can't just do this s**t!" she shouted!
