The Iron Magus Nite Lewis *coughs*... ticket holder. I sold my soul for it. I just don't understand that mentality. Patience! We'll all get to play it eventually! It's like when people buy a 1st gen item, even when a later gen costs half as much. It'll be just as good eventually! Just give it time, and you can have two of them for the same price!
I bought a ticket partially because I tested zOMG! and can't wait to play for real, and partially because I'm hoping I'll make the gold back by selling game items.
My old (banned) account is 2k5, but this one is only 2k7, so without the ticket I would have to wait a while. ):

I had heard that Zeta participants get to cut in line a bit. Is there any truth to that?

Technically speaking, they're ALREADY playing it. xd Yeah, but once the game is released to the public, the testers would be on the same level as everyone else. All those hours of getting those rings and killling so many garlics are gone. D:

has everyone noticed the guild's have been polished? that would be because of the open beta. the guild's look like this on.....well that's still classified, i suppose.

Ah, yes. Nicolae's shop. But he's dressed up like a...
.. Anyways. A few good new things there, I'll leave everyone to find out what they are for themselves. But, the last item in the shop confuses me. It normally isn't sold in the shop like that.
Ah well, more gain. Everyone's also got a new zOMG! inventory tab, recipes can be made for anyone who may have been magically given one by the recipe fairy a week in advance. Like that'd ever happen.
One great leap closer to release, buckle your seat belts and hold onto the safety bars, this'll be one hell of a ride.
EDIT: GCDers apparently all noticed it by now, as well as a few other hidden snippets.
??? Rings can be activated now -- Click on them in your inventory
Nicolae gives out candy -- He's got a wicked outfit this year. rofl
Power-Ups released for Gaia Cash rofl
Null Fragments. They're sold in Nicolae's shop, and the Cash shop for 25g each.
Numerous other things.
