As Fumei walked through the park, she had wondered where Haa'fyana and Kashya had had their meeting. Haa'fyana said that people frequent this park more especially than others for some reason that was unknown. Also, its energies were full of B'Elanna's people, it seemed.
So it was not an unplanned visit when she came upon...
"Oh wow! So many people today!" Fumei exclaimed, following the trail that led to an inconspicuous van that seemed to be a cafe of sorts, that happened to house two certain acquantances of B'Elanna's.
B'Elanna buzzed about. More than ever she was excited to see new people.
Well, Fumei recognized two of them. But not all of them. So when she waved them down, she could already feel the tensions that were warping the environment.
"Hey guys!"

Gold flecked eyes inspected the mortal who had greeted them as if they were friends. It was only when he noticed the egg that it clicked that she could be a mortal guardian for an Ashe and that she could know the other Ashe; Toulouse and Pasayo. He smirked slightly. He'd only been wishing for some less mundane company and fate had supplied him with three other ashe; one child, a fellow teenager, and now an egg. "You know each other I assume?" Rioge mused, smiling warmly at the mortal, or more precisely the egg she had in her possession. "I feel quite left out. Everyone appears to already be acquainted with each other. Perhaps there are benefits with having a mortal carer." He was blissfully unaware of the fact his statement could cause offence.
In fact, he'd always assumed that other would be jealous of his faerie upbringing. After all, he'd have the advantage over them. He'd already begun to establish himself in the court. Araran was his tutor in both basic court etiquette and magic, he'd surely have an advantage over them when they left their mortal ties and rejoined the court.
Their convergence was attracting attention from other mortals. Rioge noticed a few passers by staring at them. A smug sense of satisfaction rose through him. He and Toulouse, unspoilt by glamour, were like twin suns. Toulouse beaming out his handsome syrupy glow and Rioge blazing with beauty like the Egyptian sun. The marred child ashe and the mortal carers had vanished from his mind for the moment as he reveled at all the attention their beautiful appearances were attracting.
But his more sensible side reminded him of the problems surrounding this attention. "Seeing as there are quite a number of us now, perhaps it would be sensible to find a more secluded place to be? Out of the way of all these unwanted ears, here we cannot discuss..." he hushed his voice, "Faerie matters."
