I voted for Education. Nevada is one of the lowest states in terms of high school education. neutral I would venture to guess the Animals majority is due to the poll whores who probably saw the Announcement but didn't care about what was in it, as much as I don't want to think that.

That is sad. In Iowa we are like the highest with almost the highest amount of people graduating. We don't need more money towards education in my school but for some of the other schools they do. I went to a private school for a few years and I wasn't even challenged in anything. That was how easy it was to do stuff.

I went Disaster Relief because of the recent hurricanes. But then I thought. Most people are thinking just of the U.S. Are people not thinking of other countries or is the charity for the U.S. only? Edit: How does Nevada have the lowest education rate when Clark County has like the most schools in a county? And Clark County isn't small.

I... have not voted yet. In fact, I don't know where this poll is.
I wouldn't know what to choose anyway. I would like it if they helped them all. Though, I think I'm more likely to go for education... *is having budget cuts at school*
Can anyone give me a link if it's still there?

My idea was to give to needy Gaians. However logistically it would be a problem so it would never happen. But that would have been really helpful. ((*stares at pile of medical bills*))

@Rosie: Here is the announcement linkHere is the voting link@Kali: I doubt they would help with bills. That is what the tax refund is for in the U.S.

Clone Yami @Kali: I doubt they would help with bills. That is what the tax refund is for in the U.S. Nice thought Yami, but I make only about $12000 USD a year. If I do get a tax return it will be about $300 USD. My current medical bills are almost the total of my yearly salary. I am getting worried at this point about doctors refusing to see me, which would really be a problem since they still have not diagnosed what is causing me such immense amounts of pain.

Honestly, I think that the people that are voting "animals" are mostly just a bunch of stupid 12-year-olds that aren't old enough to donate money, anyway.
So I really hope they don't choose that one first. It might bomb and then they won't do another one.

@Kali: It could be umm... ah s**t I forgot what is was called but it is bruising on the tissue. That causes a lot of pain that isn't visible. And I don't work so I don't know much.
@TIM: Well I read the full post on the poll and they said that they want to do them all on a rotational table. So like one charity each week.

See, I voted education because if we educate people, everything else should fall in to place. We can't force people to think a certain way, but if they're more educated from a young age, they are more likely to understand what's happening.
And our education pretty much sucks. California needs a better K-12 education system.

Some politically sensetive gaians might be picking animals because it's the least politically controversial.
But I think if they really wanted to help animals they'd go for the "enviroment" option. That helps support habitats for critters, rather than funding the Spay&Neuter-Mobile.
