Kuyoja held the girl at arms length, not because he didn't like her...but to prevent her from wrapping his coils around him in its death grip. She was still terrified of him but also terrified of being held up off the ground. ANd now it was time to give her a bath. . . after getting milk all over herself it was only natural to give the child a bath. Of course...she didn't want aything to do with it.

When the letter arrived at his apartment he was surprised no one had bothered to meet him in person to discuss Saedah's...adjustment into his home. Regardless he was also a bit surprised when he opened the envelope only to find that it was meant for Saedah to fill out.
Now they had been working on her writing as well her spelling, although she more enjoyed playing with the crayons as it was a quiet and not a very sacry activity. When he approached her witht he form she looked at it curiously.
"Papa...wat does dat say?" She inquired as she looked over the sheet and pointed out the word favorite.
"It says favorite." he replied and she gave a bit of an oooo sound as she grabbed a pink crayon and began to scribble out her name.
"Papa...how spell Sweadah's?" She asked looking up at him with her big doeful eyes.
"S-A-E-D-A-H." He spelled out for her patiently as she then went ahead and mesily wrote her name. She hadn't quite gotten the use of writing as of yet, it was very messy...he made a note to rewrite everything beside what she had written.
"Papa...how olds Sweadah?" She turned her head back to look at him and he peered down at her. She...couldn't of been that old...but he wasn't sure.
"Three." He replied without hesitation, even if he wasn't sure he wasn't sure if the facility would even know. He supposed three was a good estimate.
"No Saedah the three is backwards." He corrected as he ntoiced that she had written the three wrong. She stared at it a moment before drawing it correctly.
"Papa...what colwur is dis?" She asked holding up the pink crayon for him to see.
"Pink Saedah." He replied watching as she continued to fill out the form diligently.
"Papa...how spell Gewwah?" She inquired as it came to the best friend part. She had wanted to put Mariel...but Ligeia had stuck most in her mind. Perhaps because he was the first one to really make her relax.
"L-I-G-E-I-A." He spelt out dutifully although he ntoiced she wrote it down wrong anyway. When it came to the final part she looked intimidated.
"Papa...I draw...Sweada?" She asked looking rather nervous about haveing to draw herself. He nodded his head. Puffing out her right cheek she set down to work on drawing herself.
It wasn't good...but he had to admit it was interesting she drew the blue ribbon that Ligeia had given her in her hair. Despite the fact it was a bit too big to be put there.
"Dwone?' She inquire as she held up the sheet to her father.
He took it and looked it over. They would have to work on her penmenship but she was only three. Nodding his head he patted her on the head and then went to 'mail' the letter back to the facility.

A letter to the Corperation:
Saedah is a nervous young thing, who seems to be frightened by her very shadow at times. I often worry about her having to adapt when going out into the world but thus far she seems able to adjust if I ease her into the situations slowly.
Since I have been unable to get her hair cut her bangs have gotten longer obscuring the vision in her left eye even more. I worry that this will hinder her ...I hope to get her hair cut soon. She has also taken to wearing the light blue ribbon Ligeia had given her as a head band. Although she seems to place it just after her bangs...so most of her hair is still in her face.
Around the house she tends to wear one of my gi's shirts even though it is way too large for her. I have bought her many other shirts to wear..but she seems most fond of my work apparal.
After our visit with Orpheus and his other son Ter, Saedah was quite scared of the idea of dragons. Even though I comforted her I couldn't bring myself to tell her she would be getting a dragon of her own soon enough.
Hopefully she will be able to overcome her fear of strangers as time passes.
