It was one of those days that he was glad to have the father that he had, it meant that he had access to any of the terrain rooms that he so chose to want to go to. He had decided today that he was going to head to the one with the trees growing in it. It would make for a good place to take Maria who seemed to love climbing. He turned to where his little sister was and gave a soft smile, she was sitting on top of Vorel's back, her scaled tail wrapped around him best it could be to keep her balance. He was... amazed, she had absolutely no fear when it came to dragons, she had even made friends with Baroness who how he would never know...
He lifted a gloved hand to pat Vorel's side, "Your being very nice carrying her." He praised the Frost, he seemed smitten with the little girl letting her crawl and climb all over him, listened to her as she talked about 'her dragon' which he was pretty sure was a Silver she had met at some point before they took her in though with the way things were set up Orpheus had said it was most likely a book she'd looked through or maybe a dream as dragons weren't allowed into the part of D-Corp the new kids were kept in.
Vorel turned to look first at Maria and then over at Ligeia and gave a smile, "She is nice." He said, loving her as much as he did everyone he met, as much as Ligeia loved all the kids he took care of.
The owl couldn't help but think that she was a bit lucky, getting to be with dragons from a young age instead of having to wait until hers hatched... though he was sure that once she met her egg she would feel the same anxious feelings to meet it once it hatched. It was a wait that felt like an eternity. He could still remember going into that area on many occasions just to have a chance to gaze at Vorel's pretty egg.
"We are going to take a ride in the elevator and then we will be going to one of the terrain rooms." He told his little sister.
Maria turned to look at him with her large, lavender eyes before giving a serene smile and patted Vorel's fluffy mane, "Sounds fun." She said, to the idea of visiting the terrain room and about getting to ride around on Vorel's back. This was a lot of fun! Next she had to convince Baroness to let her ride on her back! Or hang off of her really cool tail!

Kuyoja and his daughter were currently using the room, at least Saedah was. She had taken a liking to it after she had completed her skills with Ligeia and Orpheus. And having a good connection with it rather enjoyed coming to visit. Her father had no objections as he would practice his techniques here in the serene and quiet. Meanwhile Saedah was playing in some flower making a daisy chain.
She loved the quiet, there was something very comforting about it probably due to her timidness she could appreciate silence over loud noises. Soon though her little bubble of peace would be broken as she heard voices.
Perking up she reconized Ligeia's insantly, she flickered her tongue out to make sure and still holding her daisy chian slithered as fast as her little body could towards the scent of her favorite person.
Her eyes went wide as Vorel loomed into view, in her hasitiness she had disregarded the two other scents she had noticed and now she knew what one of the scents belonged to. Frozen on the spot, she couldn't breath at least it felt like someone had clamped a hand around her throat preventing her to breath. Her small frame trembeled visibly as her gaze was fixated on the large frost dragon.
You had never seen someone retreat as fast as she did. As soon as she manged to make a connection in her mind that she was prey she bolted. The daisy chain abandoned on the ground in a crumpeled heap as she tried desperately to hide herself in some tall grass.
Her father was a good distance away and wasn't aware of his daughters sudden...anxiety attack.

Vorel trotted into the room, completely oblivious to the fact that he had scared someone and he went to plop down in the tall grass a short distance from where the snake girl was sitting. He flowered his head down to the ground to give the tiny girl on his back a straight path down to the ground when she decided to get down.
A soft gasp and a laugh when the dragon plopped down onto the ground. She patted the dragon's fluffy mane before turning to look over where her hig brother was standing, "Li?" The little girl chirped, sliding down off of the dragon's back and found herself in grass that was almost up to her eyes, "Ohh..."
Ligeia turned to where the dragon was and laughed when he saw pig tails sticking up over the taill grass before ht took a couple steps forward, "Nothing, just looking at something." He lifting his hand up so she could see the daisy chain he found, "A friend of mine named Deidre makes these, I was just wondering if maybe she was around." He looked back and forth but didn't see the cow girl anywhere in the room.
The little girl tilted her head before she started forward trying to wiggle through the tall grass to where her brother was standing.

The little girl was still frozen with fear, she was laying curled up in a ball her hands on top of her head as if she was expecting an earth quake instead of being eaten. She hoped no prayed was more the word that the dragon wouldn't come after her. Her fear of the beasts seem to be getting worse rather than better.
She heard a girls voice, then she heard Ligeia, and though she desperately wanted to go to the owl boy she was too terrified to even move. It was like her whole body functions were spiraling into a black whole. She felt too hot then too cold, her breathing was ragged her heart pounding, she felt as if she was going to pass out.
Calming breaths, calming breaths...she recalled how her father told her to empty her mind and take deep breaths to try and calm down. But right at this moment all she could think of were those teeth and then biting into her. Though she had no reason to really be scared, no dragon had ever bitten her..but the scary form of Baroness had been enough to drive the fear home.
Trembling on the spot she desperately wanted to dissapear, sneak off back to her father and beg him to take her home. But daddy was further off, and the dragon was closer in fact she felt it settle down, the grass moved and she tried not to wince as a couple of the tall blades hit her.
"Gweeaa...." She mewled into the ground pathetically. If daddy was too far away she knew Ligeia could save her.

Ligeia's ear tufts twitched and he found himself looking back and forth across the room, a look of curiosity and confusion appearing on his face. Had he just heard someone saying his name? He looked over at Maria, "Did you say something?"
The little girl gazed up at her brother once she got free of the tall grass and gave a negative shake of her head before she reached up to take the daisy chain from him. Her lavender eyes inspected it with great wonder before she gave a soft smile, "Pretty."
Vorel shifted, then sniffed at the air... and his tail set to swishing, "I smell someone." He told his partner, looking back and forth but being so close to Saedah he kept looking passed her instead of at her. He was missing where she was and what was going on... just knew that someone was close by.
"Really?" He thought on it a bit harder, he had heard his name... he knew he did... wait. He blinked a couple times, he had heard 'Ligeia' or 'Geia' he had heard 'Gwea'. Which meant...
"Saedah?" He called out, taking a step forward, "Are you in here?" She was the only one that used that nickname with him so either the pretty snake girl was here or he was hearing things...
Maria looked up at her brother as she wrapped toddled over to him, catching hold of his gloved hand, "What's Saedah?" She chirped curiously.

Hearing the owl boy say her name she felt the blackness receed, though she still felt fuzzy from her fear.
"Gwea..." She mewled again, she heard the dragon speak...the low grumblings sound only made her more anxious. She wasn't aware that the dragon was just talking, it just sounded like scary sounds.
As she lifted her head slightly in hopes to catch sight of the owl, instead she only saw...ice blue ..fur? It was large. Her eyes went wide, the dragon was directly in front of her. It hadn't noticed her yet, but..it..was HUGE. Using her hands she tried to push herself backwards...but snake bodies weren't built for backwards traveling. So instead she only managed to get herself more into a ball.
She heard the other voice the young girl and then spotted Ligeia. She couldn't see the other person for the tall grass.
She wanted to call out to Ligeia, beg him to come to her side, but her fear of Vorel chocked all the words out of her throat. Now sitting on her coils she didn't know what to do, her eyes still fixated on Vorel. If he were to look in her direction she wasn't sure what she would do. Die of fright?

Vorel spotted Saedah first, before his boy could and he tilted his head to the side as he he looked down at the coiled up ball of scales... he blinked a couple times before lowering his head down to sniff at her. She looked a bit like Terpsichore he realized, the same long, flowing body... that was where the similarities ended as this one seemed more brightly colored and somewhat....
"Scared?" He asked of Saedah before lifting his head back up and turned to look at Ligeia, "She looks scared." He told his boy, not liking it one bit... was the girl okay? Was she hurt? Did she need a doctor?
The owl gave Maria a gentle pat on the head before he started through the tall grass over to where Vorel was indicating with his gaze, "Saedah?" He murmured, seeing her coiled up around herself. He quickened his steps finding himself just as worried as Vorel was for her. He knelt down alongside the snake girl and reached out a hand to her, "Saedah are you alright?"
Maria blinked a couple times when her brother went through the tall grass that she had just gotten through and then tilted her head to the side. Something seemed... wrong. She reached her little hands out to Vorel and made grabby motions at him, "Rel! Please, up?" She requested of the frost.
The dragon lowered his head, allowing her to climb up onto his head and before lifting up and gave her a good view of what was going on... and she spotted her brother with a girl with a similar body shape to her other brother Ter. Her head tilted to the side, tail wrapping around Vorel to steady herself and she watched in quiet curiosity, wondering if the snake girl was a Saedah.

When Vorel had noticed her, then bent over to sniff her she did indeed felt like she was going to die. Her heart was pounding so hard she couldn't hear anything else not even the ragged inhalation and exhalation of her breath. She looked like she was going to pass out as all color drained from her cheeks.
Even as Ligeia approached her. knelt before her and offered a hand her gaze went past him locked onto the dragon as if afriad if she blinked her end would come. After a couple of seconds the girl seemed to register that there was a hand being offered to her and that hand belonged to none other than Ligeia.
One could never of seen someone as small as Saedah move quite so fast as she lunged to wrap herself around the owl boy and buried her face into his chest, she was sobbing now, finally broken free of her fright she was crying. Her little hands wrapped around the owl boy clutching as tightly as she could to him.
It was easy to tell she was terrified, her breathing was rapid and ragged, even for crying that wasn't normal.

Ligeia let out a little squeak of surprise when Saedah's weight collided with him and he ended up on his backside with her wrapped around him. He looked down at her before he lowered his hands to stroke them over her hair, "Saedah? Its alright I am right here." He murmured in an assuring tone of voice.
He looked down at her then toward Vorel and Maria, looking concerned. He wasn't sure what had scared her... though he could hazard a guess. He wouldn't guess out loud though as it would make Vorel said to know that someone was so afraid of him, he was so much like a child at time... he didn't want to see either him or Saedah upset.
He opened his large, spotted wings to wrap them around the snake girl in an attempt to sheild her from what scared her, "There we go, better?" He murmured, his voice ever gentle.
Maria starred down at the two for a long moment before looking at Vorel, "His... girlfriend?" She asked of the Frost, somewhat curious. She had heard that both of her brothers were dating but had never seen either of their girlfriends... was this one of them?
"No, no Chath is. No... erm... wait... Chath is boyfriend." Vorel told her even though she couldn't understand him before he turned to look at the way Saedah was hugging Ligeia in a confused sort of way. The... newt was Ligeia's mate, wasn't he? So what did that make this girl to his owl? He felt as though he had missed something somewhere.
Maria leaned over, tilting her eat to the side as she starred, "She's pretty." She murmured, finding that she rather liked that color of pink... she should get a dress that color. She patted Vorel's head, "Down, please?"
The Frost gave a careful nod before lowering his head so that the little girl could crawl off him and toddle her way over to Ligeia and his snake friend.

The little cornsnake girl shuddered as sobs racked her body. THe overwhelming sensation of her anxiety attack was starting to fade as the owl boy used his wings to sheild her. Having the dragon no longer in sight was helping her deal with the attack.
"...b....b..bbig..." She managed to sob her little hands clutching at Ligeia's shirt. IT was really hard for her to calm down but slowly breath by breath she felt her body stop trembling. Though she still had many tears dripping down her cheeks as she peered up at Ligeia it slowly registered in her brain that Geia wasn't alone. Of coures she blocked out the dragon from her mind and recalled hearing another voice.
In fact she could still hear some words being spoken right this moment.
"I...is....it....s..still...here?" She inquired softly, as if she was afriad that Vorel would hear her.

Ligeia looked over at Vorel before looking back down at Saedah and gave the girl a soft smile, "He is still here, his name is Vorel and he is very sweet." He explained to her, not wanting for her to be afraid of Vorel. After all he was a good dragon, the owl couldn't recall a time when he acted anything but sweet.
The Frost was watching closely, lowering his head down and his wings closed to his back as though he were trying to be smaller then he really was... a hard trick to do when he seemed to be growing a little each day.
Maria encircled her brother, watching the manner in which he hid the snake from view before she plopped down to sit on one of Vorel's legs contemplating the situation as best as one her age could. It was... confusing to say the least, she didn't know what was going on just that the girl was scared and sad and her brother was taking care of things like he always did. Ligeia was one of the two best brothers in the world, tied only with Ter.
The little girl curled and uncurled her tail, leaning against the dragon's cool, glassy scales and was quiet.

Trying to wipe her nose with a sleeve she nodded her head at Ligeia's words. Despite what he may be saying...she couldn't bring herself to believe him. Dragons were ALL scary in her mind. Trying to imagine one being 'sweet' as it were was...not working.
"b...but.....s..so b..bb..big.." she mumbeled feeling a wave of shame go over her body. She...wished she could just believe him. She loved Geia more than anyone...well..her daddy was close...but she still felt that special tie with Geia.
Kuyoja had wondered what was going on, he had stopped in his excercise to go find his daughter to only find a dragon, a small girl and a owl sitting on the ground his wings outstretched to encircle himself.
Eyeing Ligeia he had a strong suspision he knew what was going on, he turned to look at Vorel offering the frost dragon a formal bow before he then looked to Maria.
"Little one, are you waiting for Ligeia?" He inquired.

He nodded, "Yeah, Vorel is getting pretty big but that only makes him better at giving piggy back rides. He can carry a lot of weight these days, when he was smaller he could only carry me because I am quite light." He told her, telling her random things about the dragon in hopes of making her understand that he wasn't to much of a threat.
Vorel turned to look over at Kuyoja as the man approached, sniffing at him and found his scent to be a familiar one. He was sure this man had come to their home before. His tail started to swish behind him and he gave a sharp toothed smile, "Hello." he greeted the new man.
Maria looked up at him with huge, lavender eyes recalling that she wasn't supposed to talk to strangers... but... Vorel didn't seem upset by his arrival. If he were dangerous she was certain the dragon would do something about him, "Hello!" She chirped, "Yes, I am waiting on Li. He is talking with his girlfriend."
