Orpheus had a few ideas for this class, finding that the idea of constricting something was one that would have to wait until the girl was a bit older. After all learning a potentially dangerous move should be saved until the girl was old enough to understand it wasn't something to be used often. There was also hiding which she already seemed good at from what he'd witnessed and the fact that her sort of snake seemed to come out more at night then anything else.

He'd finally decided upon working on the 'Night Hunting' skill, to see if she found her way through night vision like what his son had or if it were another method that was used. He had his clipboard in hand, taking down a couple notes about the class set up while he waited for his student to arrive.

Ligeia was sitting off to the side, a large book in his lap that he was reading while waiting for the snake girl to arrive. Since it was a 'night' class he had been brought in to help keep an eye out for things that Orpheus wouldn't be able to see.

Kuyoja had been a bit overhwelmed it seemed like it was jsut yesterday that Saedah had been small enough to fit the clothes she had bought her...and now she already was too big for them. He supposed that...kids tended to outgrow clothes... he would have to make another trip to the mall. Oh joyful day. But she was getting too big to carry around...which had been another big change.

SUre he could carry her, but he thought it better to let her move on her own coils. When he came up to Orpheus he noted that his son was there. He wasn't staying, this was a test for Saedah to show her that even if he wasn't there everything would be ok. He nodded his head to Orpheus and to Ligeia formally.

Saedah had been in truth nervuos about this 'class' of sorts. She had begun reading a lot more recently the dictionary was one of her favorites as there wasn't much else in the apartment to read, but...class meant something along the lines of school which meant more people. Or a gathering of children to learn. She wasn't so keen on that idea...not in the least.

Holding on Kuyoja she looked around nervously fiddling with the blue ribbon in her hair her maroon eyes went wide as she spotted her favorite person in the whole world!

"Gwea." She uttered his name softly in a cute girlish giggle before she looked to Kuyoja a moment and then released his hand to slither up to Geia cautiously. She looked up at him, hoping ...just hoping he noticed the ribbon in her hair.

Orpheus looked over as the door opened and Saedah arrived with her father, he hadn't seen the pair since the last time they had a visit. A visit cut a bit short by poor Saedah running across Ter...

"Hello Saedah, Kuyoja." He greeted them, giving them both a smile.

Ligeia closed his book, setting it aside when Saedah came toward him and moved so that he could kneel in front of her, "Oh! Saedah, look at you. All grown up." He said, giving her a bright smile before wrapping his arms around her, giving her a snuggle. It had been far to long since he'd gotten to see the cute little snake girl and now she was so big!

Kuyoja nodded his head again to Orpheus in a curteous greeting.

"Good afternoon Orpheus. I am afriad I have some matters to attend to...I am sure Saedah will be in your capable care?" He spoke looking the man over before his gaze shifted back to Saedah.

Saedah currently was too happy to be hugged by the owl boy. She returned the hug with a small gleeing sound as he praised how big she had gotten. She shifted on her coils smiling up at him sweetly a hand coming up to touch the ribbon in her hand as if trying to point it out unconciously.

"Gwea its been so long. I missed you." She replied quietly she was currently too busy to understand that her father was leaving.

Orpheus nodded, "Of course, I will be here and Ligeia will be acting as a second set of eyes for this class. You don't have to worry about a thing." He assured his fellow teacher. He turned to look over at Saedah who was now in the loving arms of Ligeia and gave a litle smile.

It was good to see that she was more relaxed around people even after her run in with Ter.

Ligeia nodded, "Far to long, I am glad that I was able to help out in your class." He said, drawing back to give her a smile. He watched her hand as it touched the ribbon she was wearing and his smile seemed to get that much brighter if it were possible, "Wow, you still have that?"

He sounded excited about it, that she was taking such good care of his ribbon made him happy.

Thrilled couldn't even describe the word she was feeling the moment Ligeia gave her praise on how well she was looking after his ribbon. Her little face lit up as she nodded her head enthusiastically.

"Yes yes Gwea I take good care of it!" She replied with a smile, she then wondered if he wanted it back. Her face fell at the thought, it was his after all...she was suppose to return it...

"Gwea...did you want it back?" She inquired looking very sad at the idea.

Kuyoja nodded his head, he knew that his girl would be in capable hands. "I will come pick her up in an hour or so then. If the class is not over by then I will just wait off to the side." He explained and he snuck off as he didn't want Saedah to suddenly panic that he was leaving.

The owl seemed to be thinking on it seriously for a long moment before shaking his head, "No, I will need for you to take care of the ribbon for a while longer if you can." He murmured, as though it were a very important job.

Orpheus nodded, watching the man go before he walked over to where his student and his son were talking among themselves. He gave them a smile before he started to talk, "Alright Saedah, your here today to practice one of the skills that your DNA animal has, it has to due with locating things in the dark."

Saedah beamed up at Ligeia happily, she touched the ribbon again proud to have been given such an important task. She nodded her head accepting the task proudly.

"I promise to take the best care of it!" She proclaimed proudly she was a bit startled when Orhpeus approached her and spoke. She looked up to him with big eyes wondering what he was talking about.

"Excuse me Mr. Orpheus?...Wha...what do you mean? The dark?" She inquired before she then looked around for her father. She seemed to shrink within herself as she noticed he was no longer there.

"...Pa...pa?" She asked trembling. "Where is papa?" She looked like she was going to have an anxiety attack.

Ligeia gave her a gentle smile, "Thank you, I appreciate that you will watch after it for me." He said then turned to look at his father as he started to talk.

"Its the skill we are working on, going to have a bit of a treasure hunt in the darkness of the terrain room. Its nothing you should worry about, Ligeia and I will be here with you. We are just seeing how you will find your way around."

Orpheus looked toward the door then back and smiled, "He had some errands to run, he will be back shortly." He assured her.

Saedah quivered on the spot even though she was listening to what the man was saying her mind kept flitting back to the fact her papa had left her here. She was glad that Ligeia was here....and though she knew Mr. Orpheus she didn't think she would be able to handle being alone with him. With Ligeia she would find the courage to get through this class.

Nodding her head she fiddeled with the hem of her shirt, she was wearing one of Kuyoja's older gi shirts. As she couldn't wear the bottoms.

"T...treasure?" She inquired looking back to Ligeia to confirm he as well did not leave.

Orpheus nodded, "Yes, there are a few treasures out there that are hidden in shiny plastic spheres and your job is to try to find them. With snake DNA there are a few things on your side that we are testing for, like checking if you can gather scents from the air with your tongue like Ter does." He motioned to Ligeia, "Wait here and I will be right back."

The teacher trotted over to the wall next to the door of the grassy terrain room and then turned the lights down to low, giving the room a feel similar to what it would be on a night with a cresent moon.

"Alright! Now lets begin. Ligeia will be standing by, keep his eyes on you since he can see in the dark but he can't help you with the class itself." He called over to them.

Ligeia smiled then said to Saedah in an assuring voice, "Its going to be alright, I am sure you will do very well." He murmured.

Saedah seemed to pale and shrink on the spot her coils wrapping around herself as she noticed it got darker. Trembling she looked to where Ligeia had been standing but could only make out a blurry shape. Sniffling she was trying to be brave...she found it hard to do.

She was suppose to find spheres ..spheres that had treasure in them. She wrung her hangs together as she stood in place trying to just overcome her fear. Hearing Ligeia she puffed out a cheek and tried to pull every ounce of courage she had. Mr. Orpheus had said something about gathering scents in the air with her tongue.

Flicking her tongue out she found that not being able to see she suddenly ...noticed there was different tastes in the air. Flicking it out again she shifted on the spot. Unconsciously she moved towards the one scent that was...rather comforting to her. Ligeia.

Her eyesight was getting better though wasn't great she found herself flicking her tongue out more and more and then bumped into Ligeia. With a meep she shrunk back before she tasted the air again and then clung to Geia's leg. So happy to have found him again she didn't want to let go.

Ligeia gave a little giggle when Saedah bumped into him and then clung to his leg, "Good job finding me." He compliemented her, able to see perfectly what she was doing and that it wasn't mere chance that she had gotten to him. She had scented him out with her tongue, "Now, want to try to do the same with the spheres? They smell special compared to the room." It was the only hint he was allowed to give, that they wouldn't smell exactly like they belonged in the grassy room.

Saedah hugged Ligeia's leg again before reluctantly releasing him. Right she was suppose to find the treasure not cling to Ligeia's leg. Taking a deep breath she turned and closed her eyes trying to find her center and her bravery before flickering her tongue out again.

She needed to focus, shifting on the spot she tasted the air again. Tasted different from the room. Well she already found Ligeia so she could separate his smell from the rest of the room. She trembled on the spot as she found something different, the smell was weak but...

Looking back up to Ligeia she tried once again to summon her courage as she hesitantly slithered towards the strange smell.

The owl watched as the girl tested the air again and then started forward toward where she had caught a scent. He looked over to where his father was waiting, listening in closely and expectantly. He gave a smile before he started to follow along after Saedah not saying anything to his father yet since anything he could say would give hints to Saedah on if she were going the right way or not.

As much as he wanted to help he was supposed to only be playing the part of his father's eyes at the moment.

The closer Saedah got to the scent the more and more out of place it would smell. The scent was of a flower that didn't grow in a field environment, on top of that there hadn't been any of that kind of flower in here. Only daisies grew in this particular room and most of them were gone.
