Silence of Apathy Mom: Israi ID: H040 Dad: Makya ID: 167 Type of breeding: Traditional Plan for Baby(s): If one... Teigra said she'd let me have it. ^^;; Two, we'd both keep one of course. And if three we've decided that we'd put one up in a newbie/semi-newbie rp contest. ^^ Story:
It was a cold night. The howling wind blew through the trees as if following every step she made through the lush piles of snow. Lids shut over pale green eyes as a shiver ran up her spine. This was so different. She had spent much too long protecting her brother and his bonded, living in the shadows of the male who had summoned her.. Why she was doing this she couldn’t be sure. Was this male that alluring? His wild blue eyes, the way he spoke to her… was he that opposite of her that the attraction was enough to cause her to do this?
Israi bit down on her lip, a cool rush of blood dripping down from beneath the mask. A warm tongue licked up the fluid as the wind beckoned her back from wince she came. “No…” She muttered quickly to herself. “..I have to do this… for myself.” Carrying on, she padded her feet against the cold wet terrain until her eyes settled on the large tree in the distance, there the wini awaited her.
“You’re late.” She noticed the voice instantly as soon as she came in range.
Huffing, she carelessly threw her mane back out of her eyes. “And you…” She began to retort in a harsh manner but quickly stopped when she noticed the look in his eyes. “…Why are you helping me? Why meet me here?” For a moment her eyes gazed helplessly into his but it was a manner that quickly washed away as her barriers began to rebuild themselves. “..It’s not like you owe me anything…”
“You don’t understand, do you?” He took a step closer to her, his pale white and black coat shimmering as a ray of light glinted off of it. “..You’re unhappy. You have to stop taking care of your brother.. Of your bonded’s family… living with Ceisiga has made you cold… I can see that at some point you were caring, loving even.. I just want you to feel that way again.”
Israi flinched at his words, her eyes refusing to glance in his direction, “Ceisiga is good to me! He might be harsh to others but he has never treated me unfairly!” Her voice was distressed. While it was true that her bonded was wonderful to her, he was just as cold, unflinching and hardly uttered words even to his winiko. It was a toll that had heavily weighed upon the female wini’s shoulders. All she had ever wanted was for him to be happy.
Makya scooted closer, gently guiding her face to take view of his own. With a soft smile, “You will return to him… but until you can learn to love yourself.. You cannot have the happiness you seek. Come away with me Israi.. And I will show you wonders.. Trust me.”
Letting out a deep sigh, Israi knew that she could no longer stay with her brother. She was an adult now, and now, under this tree, was her time to finally stand up for herself…

Transcribed from Shop Thread RPSilence of Apathy Israel: ..Hey, you're breaking me apart from my sister! gonk
Israi: ....... Teigra Makya: *staying silent and watching from a distance* Silence of Apathy Israi: -Spots him and tilts her head slightly to one side- ....
Israel: ...Don't tell me... its all over a guy.. -Glares- Teigra Makya: *tail swishes, holding his tongue for now out of respect for Israi, though this is far from being just about one simple thing* Silence of Apathy Israi: -Glares at her brother for a moment before walking over toward Makya- You should probably meet him... -Says a little quietly- Teigra Makya: *nods slowly* 'If that's what you think best.' *looks at her with sad, but kind eyes, trying to offer her a weak smile* Silence of Apathy Israi: -Smiles softly at him before it fades as her eyes shift over her shoulder to stare at her brother- I'll let him know its my decision... -She turned her body as she began walking with more confidence toward Israel- Israel.. this is Makya. Makya, this is my brother Israel.
Israel: -Huffs as he eyes the male- Nice to meet you... -Gritted teeth- Teigra Makya: *pads over silently, letting any aggression pass right over him with no intention of returning it as it's not in his nature* 'A pleasure to meet you as well, Israel.' *nods politely* Silence of Apathy Israel: So is he the one that's taking you away?
Israi: No one is taking me away... I'm leaving of my own free will. You'll be fine... you have Neirei to take care of you...
Israel: Does Ceisiga know?
Israi: ..... Teigra Makya: *awkwardly silent now, unwilling to interrupt* >.> Silence of Apathy Israi: Stay out of it... would you? -Glares at her brother- I'll be back. I promise. I just have things to take care of.. can't you trust me in that?
Israel: .... -Eyes the male before letting out a sigh- Fine. If that's what you want. I'll try to like him... only for you though.
Israi: Thank you. -Goes over and sits down next to Makya, nudging him with her nose gently- ...Sorry about my brother... Teigra Makya: *nudges her back gently* 'No worries. You shouldn't apologize. And he doesn't have to like me anyway.' *doesn't mention that on some odd level...this actually does bother him* 'This is about you and no one else, alright?' Silence of Apathy Israi: -Frowns- Why do you say that? -Ears go flat- I'm not going to sit around and make this all about me... you are the one taking on the burden of even having me around... -Muses- ...I can't let you not have a say... Teigra Makya: 'I'm here because I want to be. As long as it's okay with you, of course.' *nudges lightly, teasing* 'Besides, you've been looking after others for long enough. You need to worry about just taking care of yourself and no one else, 'k?' Silence of Apathy Israi: I... -Shifts uncomfortably, eyes on the ground below her claws- ...I dunno if I can do that... Teigra Makya: *smiles* 'I'll teach you how. *gently lifts her chin with a claw* 'I'm going to teach you to have fun if it kills me.' *smirks* Silence of Apathy Israi: ....Why? -Stares at him in disbelief, eyes reveal how confused she is- ..Why do you want to help me? Teigra Makya: 'Why not?' *chuckles softly* 'But if you need a reason, it's because you're not happy. That's obvious enough. Everyone has a right to be happy, but maybe some just don't know how to be...so, I'll help.' Silence of Apathy Israi: ...Happy? -Huffs- I don't believe in it... Teigra Makya: *chuckles, tail swishing* 'Then that's just proof you haven't experienced it yet. We'll have to fix that.' *smiles, nudging her cheek with his nose* 'Give me a chance to show you the warmer, kinder side of the world and you'll see.' Silence of Apathy Israi: ..... -Turns her head to stare at him when he nudges her cheek. Her green eyes watch him for a moment before she turns, unaware of her cheeks holding a slight blush, not that she would ever admit it anyhow- I guess... I have nothing to lose... Teigra Makya: *chuckles* 'There we go! That's the spirit!' *swishing tail suddenly pauses and droops* '...err...I think.' ^^;; Silence of Apathy Israi: -Smirks a little and pokes a claw awkwardly at his tail when it stops moving- Did it lose its life? Teigra Makya: *frowns over his shoulder, seemingly serious* 'It seems so! What do I do? Can you think of anything?!?' *paws at her, hiding the grin that threatens to creep onto his face* Silence of Apathy Israi: Umm.... has it had food or something to drink recently? What excites a tail? -Tilts her head to one side, pretending to be concerned over it- Teigra Makya: *seriously having trouble keeping a straight face, let alone a worried one* 'No...but how would I feed it? I've never had to before! And I'm not sure...' *suddenly grins and leans his head on her shoulder, looking up at her and attempting the 'cute look' that he used to use when he was a child to get away with practically anything* 'Maybe it just wants attention?' Silence of Apathy Israi: Hmm... not sure... -Pokes at it again before she's completely taken back by him putting his head on her shoulder with that look- Uhh.... -Drops her paw to the ground, just staring at him in disbelief- Teigra Makya: *sweatdrops, sensing he went too far* 'Err...oh hey, look! There it goes again! Must be fine!' *twitches his tail a bit, sitting up and coughing awkwardly into his paw while looking away* Silence of Apathy Israi: -Shakes her head a bit though there is a slight smirk on her face- You're strange.. you know that? -Nudges him playfully- But... there is a pile of leaves calling my name for bed... You could come... if you want.. -Says shyly as she glances away- Teigra Makya: *continues looking away in silence for a little longer...letting relief set in before turning back with a sheepish grin* 'So I've been told.' *tail swish* 'But, as long as I'm not too strange...I'd be honored.' *nudges her lightly* 'The nights have been pretty cold lately.' Silence of Apathy Israi: -She nods a bit, trying to shrug off the idea of why she wanted him near because of the cold- It has been.. it'd be nice to be warm for once. -She laid herself down in the middle of some leaves, scooting a little so he would have room next to her- Teigra Makya: *pads gently into the leaves, squashing the passing, silly, inane thought of how much fun it would be to have pounced into the pile...* 'Comfortable?' *asked while settling in, using the 'keeping warm' excuse to keep close to her without crowding her so much that she couldn't move away if she started feeling uncomfortable* 'Just shove me if I need to move, 'k?' *chuckles, only joking....hopefully* Silence of Apathy Israi -Yawns a bit and mumbles half in sleep already- Okay... -Remarkably not spazzing about him being so close. Yawns again and snuggles into the pile- Teigra Makya: *smiles, settling in and curling up next to her in that case...then, almost as an afterthought, or perhaps an unconscious one, curls his tufted tail around her almost protectively....err....to keep warm, yeah that...*

Teigra Mom: Aponi ID: 100 Dad: Aedan ID: 044 Type of breeding: Summoned ("Cuz they obviously got drunk and "accidentally" performed a summoning ritual, that's probably complex and detailed..." -- Tei "That's what I'd do when drunk. Forget slobbery umphing." -- Mel) Plan for Baby(s): We'd each like one, then any extras would go into a crazy event plotted out between the two of us that probably involves something insane like Aedan trying to get rid of the 'thing(s)' and needing a new bonded to come save the poor child(ren). XD Must spread the Aedan lurve, you know. ~__^ Story: The seasons were jolly, the Winis were gathered, and the food was both plentiful and delicious. The elder swore that even her butterfly companions seemed in lighter spirits than usual. With a soft chuckle, Aponi crossed the room, heading for the buffet table with a swish of her tail and the tinkling sound of her jewelry falling behind her. Nearby, she spotted another elder...a male, with dark colorings and a feline-like tail. She smiled and folded her wings, stepping in to make her introduction. "Greetings and well met, good sir. I do not believe that we have had the pleasure of making acquaintance in the past. Thou may refer to me as Aponi. Hast thou enjoyed the chance to partake of the repast before us?" Aedan cocked his head toward the strangely adorned elder. He could deduce it was a female but otherwise he had no clue what was going on with her. Curiosity caught the better of him as he decided this must be some sort of alien-wini. Pointing a claw at her in an accusing manner he poked his head toward hers to blot out some of the ambient noise."What planet are you from? You talk all weird." She smiled, unoffended and apologetic. "My apologies, sir, for mine strange pattern of speech. I shall do my best to make my intentions clear." With a nod, she turned her attention back to the table of food and drink. "Perhaps we could partake of the feast and find something to each of our likings. Punch, perhaps, or some cookies? I heard that the humans accidentally left some celebratory drink that is normally saved for special occassions. Cham...champ, something I think. Whatever catches thine interest, of course." Aedan shrugged. Out of all of that he understood "cookies" and "drink" and that was enough for the elder. He followed Aponi over to the refreshment table. Aponi set about fixing plates for the each of them, picking plenty of sweets, since it WAS the holidays...then passed Aedan a plate and a cup of champagne. She never even noticed that she'd missed getting his name. "Cheers and best wishes, dear friend!" --- Aponi giggled, her cheeks touched with a light blush she was yet to grow aware of. It was just a bit warm in here, that was all. She'd apparently also not noticed the lamp shade dangling from one of her antlers. "Know what?" She blinked, glancing over at her companion at the question. "Hmm?" "I feel pretty..." Aponi grinned widely, nodding with enthusiasm. "'Snice! Holidays...are nice. Happy Winis eberywhere! FORSOOTH!" She nearly toppled to the side in turning to face Aedan, then giggled again at herself...completely failing to notice that Aedan was no more listening than a lamppost. "I FEEEEEEEEEEEEEL PRETTY!!! OOOOOOOOOOH SO PRETTY!!!!!" Aedan wailed as he swayed drunkenly to and fro. "I FEEL PRETTYYYYYY AND WITTY AND BRIIIIIIIII-IE-IIIIII-IE-IIIIIIIGHT!!!!" Tail swishing across the floor happily, Aponi made another effort to stand...then toppled and gave up, settling to just sit. It was still an accomplishment. "Wish everyday could be a holiday, dun you? Lotsa' foooood, and driiiinks, and fun!" Grinning, she pawed at the empty champagne bottle. "Annn more a' thisssss stuffz. Iz goood... Forsooth!" She blinked a bit, wondering what the time could be if she were this sleepy all of a sudden... "AND I PITYYYY!!! ANY GIIIIIRL WHO ISN'T MEEEEE TOONIIIIIIIIGHT!" Aponi pawed clumsily at her face, shaking her head. Wooo...the room was spinning! Was this a new game? Giggling once more, she staggered to her feet and towards the swaying, singing Aedan. "Spinniiiiiiiing!" The female Elder grinned widely...then tripped over her claws and fell on Aedan. "HEEEEEY! GERROUTA' MY SPOTLIGHT, CRAZY ALIEN LADEH!" Off in the distance, the countdown had begun, numbers being shouted by a myriad of voices. "TEN! NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN!..." Aponi was already out cold by this point, still smiling. After some shouting and struggling, Aedan grew quieter and more sluggish, pawing weakly at the big lug weighing him down. Finally, he decided it was too much effort to move the snoring lump and flopped. He was getting sleepy anyway...

Transcribed From Shop Thread RPTeigra Aponi: *quickly resumes composure and nuzzles Cassi* ^^ <3 Male-Who-Needs-A-Name: *headtilt* Lural Cassi: *Gives a faint mewel of affection and nuzzles her mother* Female_Death Eider: *curls and watches* Teigra Aponi: *chuckles softly, settling down to groom her 'offspring'* Female_Death Eider: *gets up and bounces over to Aponi and blinks* Lural Cassi purred faintly while letting her mother clean her. She closed her eyes a little till she saw her sister, and smiled faintly. Female_Death Eider blinks and pokes at Cassi for a moment before bouncing around Aponi. Lural Cassi smiles. "Hello." She wasn't sure what to call her exactly. She then looked back up at her mother, and curled up a little, content to be with her. Teigra Aponi: *nudges both of her girls gently, content to watch them interact for now* Female_Death Eider stops and giggles. "Hello!" Goes back to bouncing around her mother and sister. Teigra Aponi: *smiles, watching her girls, then beckoning her son over* Cheveyo: *frowns, padding over with a huff* Heavenly Snow -wobbles into thread again- Amaterasu: Mama!!!!! -runs to Aponi--gets ran over in the process- x.x Female_Death Eider stops and pokes Cheveyo before giggling and darting behind Aponi. Teigra Aponi: *blinks up, realizing she's going to have to get used to that title even more now* " Why, greetings and well met, my dear. I pray that thou hast been well?" Cheveyo: *growls squeakily at the poke and glares at his sister* >.> *stomps over and attempts to latch his teeth into her tail* Female_Death Squeaks and giggles well darting around her mom tying to keep her tail from her brother's teeth. Teigra Cheveyo: *growls again, crouching down to pounce on Eider and teach her a lesson about poking Winis* Aponi: *turns back to the goings-on with a sweatdrop* Heavenly Snow Amaterasu: -sits near Aponi- Yes, mama, I've been well. I see I have siblings now? Female_Death Giggles and peers at her brother before jumping forward trying to poke him again. Teigra Aponi: *nods, distracted* " Aye, 'twould seem so, my dear." *nuzzling or nodding to each child in turn* " Cassi...Eider...and Cheveyo. There should be two more about nearby..." *glances about briefly* Cheveyo: *tired of his sister's taunting, lunges forward as Eider does, latching onto her paw with his teeth* Lural "Mother?" Cassi looked up at her mom. "Why is it they're bounding so? It seems a trivial gesture." She said about her brother and sister as they romped. Her gaze shifted to the larger wini who called Aponi mama. "Are you another of my siblings?" Female_Death Eider: *making a small screaming sound she bites at any part free of armor on her brother* Teigra Cheveyo: *sniggers, enjoying his armored advantage over his sister for a bit before letting go and backing off* ... *makes a face at her, then turns and waves his tail tauntingly* Aponi: *about to answer when startled by the screech* ' CHEVEYO! Stop that at once!' *sweatdrops, only now realizing she's going to have her paws full with these...* Female_Death Eider: *whining a little she glares at her brother and snaps at his tail* Teigra Cheveyo: *continues to dangle the ribboned tail just out of his sister's reach* ' Serves ya' right, pokey monster...' xp Aponi: *stern, warning voice* ' Cheveyo...' *still watching carefully, sighs and turns to Cassi, thinking at least she has one good, seemingly-sane child* Silence of Apathy Neph: -Sits up on a ledge, tail swinging back and forth as she watches the winis her age play- Female_Death Eider: *growls and jumps her brother* Lural Cassi sat up, looking at her brother. She curled her tail around her legs, head tilted to one side. North was bored when the boy's human took the music thing away, even though she didn't get to hear anything. She shook her head and began to prance about, looking for something to do. Teigra Cheveyo: ' Hey!' *growls, rolling with the tackle with a metallic clank* ' Gerroffa' me, Pokey!' *attempts to push her off* Aponi: *more sweatdropping* Silence of Apathy Neph: -Frowns and mumbles, tail swinging- Female_Death Eider: A little poke never hurt anyone! *trys to bitr him again* Lural "Mother? Should I intervene and try and stop them?" Cassi asked softly, not really wanting to, but sensed her mother's distress in their actions. Teigra Aponi: *signs* " No, sweetheart, worry not. I shall deal with them..." *stands up and stalks over, sitting between the two children and setting one massive (in comparison) front paw on each of them, pinning them gently, but effectively, to the floor* " Can'st thou behave for only a moment?" Cheveyo: *grumbles, squirming uselessly in a desperate attempt to escape* " Moooooooom!" *whines, upset his armor can't help him now* Female_Death Eider: *blinks and pokes at her mom's paw and giggling* But I'm behaving! Teigra Aponi: *chuckles, smiling* " Yes, thou art...now." Cheveyo: *still squirming and gnawing on one of his mom's claws* Female_Death Eider: *Clings to her mom's paw well peering about* Silence of Apathy Neph: -Jumps down from her ledge and nears the large elder, sniffing her curiously- Teigra Aponi: *glances over to the new youngling...pretty sure this one isn't one of hers* " Hello there, dearie." *smiles* Cheveyo: *notes that his mother's hold has lessened just a bit and manages to wriggle loose* " Hmmph. You lot are no fun." *pouts* Silence of Apathy Neph: -Sits down, tail curling around herself- I know you... My mom told me about you... your name is Aponi, isn't it? Female_Death Eider: *Still clinging to her mom's paw she blinks* Would have been fun if you were not a grump. Teigra Aponi: *nods, curious* " Why yes, I am. Perhaps I might ask who thine mother is, my dear? You do seem...a bit familiar." Cheveyo: *seems a bit more at ease now that the Pokey Monster isn't after him anymore* " Hmph. Well, maybe I don't like being jabbed, Miss Clumsy Claws. Ever think of that? Maybe that's why I have this armor. To protect me from crazies like you." Female_Death Eider: I just wanted to see your pretty armor. It was a different feeling to me... Silence of Apathy Neph: My mom is Ilinea. -Wiggles around- She's kind of hard to miss with that skull on her face... -Moves around to view the male and female- Crazies? -Glowing eyes stare at him- Lural North spies the other children, and decides it's a good time to say hello, and so gallops towards them at full speed. Cassiopeia looked at her mother proudly. Others knew of her? Then she must be a great winiko indeed! She idolized her mother. Teigra Aponi: *nods in understanding* " Indeed, I do know thine mother." *chuckles* " She is quite memorable, but also lovely. You do favor her." Cheveyo: *pauses, thrown off his rant* " Well...coulda' just asked 'stead of attacking me." *poses* " I don't mind being admired.' *turns towards Neph, raising an eyebrow* ' Maybeh...you gonna' try poking me too?" Silence of Apathy Neph: Favor her? -She tilted her head to one side in question at the strange way the wini talked- And I thought my mom talked strangely! -Looking over at the boy- I dunno... do you want me to poke you? Female_Death Eider: Sorry. *Rolls away from her mom and gets up she trots over to her brother before peering at the others that have come* Teigra Cheveyo: *narrows his eyes at this new arrival* " I'd rather you not, but I'll dub you a 'crazy' too if you try it. Dunno why that seems so fascinating to everyone." >.< Aponi: *chuckles, trying to rephrase what she said so that the child would understand* " I meant that...you remind me of her in a way." *smiles* Lural Not wanting to be a bother, Cassi walked over to her mother and gave her a quick rub. "I am going to stay out of the way for now, mother." She smiled before trotting past her brother and shooting him a glare, and pranced away. North didn't quite know how to stop yet when she ran at such speed, and barreled into someone. Silence of Apathy Neph: Me? -Wrinkles nose- I don't look anything like her... Asaeil does, but I don't. -Frowns and tugs at her jewelry- I don't even act like her... Mom says I look like my grandma, Jasmine, and act like my grandma, Lolita. -Tilting her head over to the boy- Well... I guess I can be nice and not poke you then. But your armor is really cool! -Seeing Prochoros she couldn't help but shout- Toy! -Wiggles excitedly- Teigra Aponi: *nuzzling her daughter back and trying not to subconsciously think of her as her 'good daughter'* " Do not feel as if thou must leave, dear. However, if that is what thou wish, 'tis fine." *smiles reassuringly, watching her go, then turning back to Neph* " Perhaps it is only the ramblings of an old timer, then." Cheveyo: *posing again* " I am quite fascinating, aren't I? Must be why everyone keeps pestering me. Not that I can blame them, in that sense..." Silence of Apathy Nephesh: So why do you talk like that if I'm allowed to ask? -With her attention being drug in different places- You have a problem with being fascinating? -Giggles- I would find it flattering if I were you. -Looking off to Prochoros- Yes you! -Wiggles a bit and looks at him, poking him gently with a claw- I didn't actually believe them when they said you were a wini... o.o Lural After her less then grand entrance, North flopped onto her back near a wini she did not know and swatted at the tail that dangled near her. Teigra Aponi: *smiles and shakes her head* " I do not mind the question, only apologize if I have an unsatisfactory answer. I only know that this is the way I have always spoken. I have known no other method of speech." Cheveyo: *huffs at being misunderstood* " I don't mind being fascinating. I only mind the incessant poking from all sides!" *yelps, whirling on the Wini swatting at his tail* " Hey! That goes on the list of irritating things under poking!" Lural North smiled up at the seemingly irate Chevoyo. "You had a dangly thing on your tail. Ooooh, I like your hat." Silence of Apathy Neph: Oh... -Thinks a moment- Do you get a lot of weird looks for talking that way? -Curious- Well, I haven't poked you. -Giggles before her attention returns to the multicolored wini- Really? -Eyes light up- So you remember me? -Bright smile- Teigra Aponi: *chuckles softly* " A few odd comments, yes. But I try to make sure that mine words are understood, at least." Cheveyo: *eye twitch and mouth quirk* " Err...yeah, dangly thing. That's supposed to be there. And the hat is a helmet. It's part of my armor." *seems both tired...and yet bemused* Lural "Oh." North smiles, curling her paws to her chest while she still watched him. "You do look wicked awesome. I bet you could do some damage with that metal on your horns!" The gears in her head turned as she started thinking mischievous thoughts. Silence of Apathy Neph: -Giggles- Can you teach someone else how to speak like that? -Looks back at the multicolored wini and sticks out her tongue before walking over and trying to tickle him with her tail- Teigra Cheveyo: *tilts his head, seeming to think about this for a moment, then smirking* " You're right, I probably could. I should test this theory sometime. Have to find a...target..." *chuckles* Aponi: *laughs* " I suppose I could'st certainly attempt it. Just come to me if you'd like to make the effort and we shall see what mightst occur." Lural North's smile widened when he seemed to like the idea. "Hey hey, why don't we try and find someone?" She slowly rolled over and got up, glancing to Aponi. She didn't feel it was a good idea to plot with such a big winiko around. Teigra Cheveyo: *following her line of sight, he nodded* " Yeeeeah, mum's a bit of a party pooper. Best bet is to try elsewhere." *stretches and yawns, then glances around* Lural North seemed to beam at that. "And if we can't find a person, there's plenty else around for wanton destruction!" The though made her a little giddy. Teigra Cheveyo: *grins* " You know, there's a couch that's been getting on my bad side lately..." Lural She grinned. "And my claws could use some *ahem* refining." She lifted a paw and looked at them. "I say we should go and inspect this vial couch monster. You with me?" she took a few steps away, then looked back at him with the same sweet smile. Teigra Cheveyo: *snickers, deciding that of all the crazies he'd met today, he didn't mind this one so much* " Never say 'no' to a good combination revenge/grooming session. Let's be off." *struts after* Lural After slipping away from his mother's watchful eyes, Northridge sprinted towards the room where the couch was. "Time to make some creative improvements to the decor!" She chirped and lunged at the couch, jumping at the side of the back, her claws sinking into the fabric, and her weight carrying her down, leaving shreds of stuffing spewing from the wounded couch. Teigra Cheveyo: *not about to be shown up by some chick, dashes forward and bounds up onto the couch, slamming his horns into the cushion before shaking his head vigorously* >=D Lural North could only laugh as fuzz went flying everywhere and stuck to his horns and fur. She clawed her way to the top of the couch again and began walking backwards, using her back legs to move,, dragging her front legs through the fabric. When she reached the end she stood there pulling out the stuffing. "This white stuff smells bad." She said. Sniffing the fuzz for a moment. Teigra Cheveyo: *leans in to sniff at the white fluff curiously...which then gets sucked up his nose and sends him into a coughing/sneezing fit* " ACHOO! Ahh! The fluff is attacking! Get it! Stomp the retaliation attempts!" *suddenly tears into the material with horns and claws, growling and flailing about wildly* Lural Northridge, hearing his pleas jumps down, sending a cloud of white fluffy dust around her when she lands and she tears her claws into the couch. Teigra Cheveyo: *pauses, panting and completely covered in white fluff* " Even greatly outnumbered, we shall not surrender to the fluffy menace!" *strikes a dramatic pose on top of the couch* Lural Northridge took one look at him, and burst out laughing. He looked hilarious with the white fluff all over, though she had no idea she looked just as ridiculous. Teigra Cheveyo glared. " You dare mock me? You've crossed sides, haven't you? What'd the fluff bribe you with? Money? Power? THEY LIE YOU KNOW!" Unfortunately, in his rants, he hadn't noticed he'd journeyed too close to the edge and soon tumbled down on top of North. Lural She squeaked when fell into her and somehow managed to drag him down to the ground with her. She was laughing as the fluff fell around them. "Mock... mock you?" She managed to giggle out. "Never! I was laughing at the carnage!" Teigra Coughing slightly, Cheveyo shook himself off and tried to regain a more dignified stance. " Oh...well, in that case, laugh on. Carnage is always a good source of amusement." He shuffled through the piles of fluff on the ground, glaring at it in disgust. " Yeah, showed you, fluff. Bet you won't try that again!" Lural North was still trying to calm her giggles as she looked at the couch, and with one paw idly scratched at the front. "Not so pretty now, are you? High and mighty bearer of fluffy doom. We have felled you! Now what adventures await our young heroes?" She looked to Cheveyo, wondering if he wanted to ravage anything else. There had to be more. Drapes at the least. Teigra Stretching in a relaxed manner, Cheveyo took a moment to shake out his fur in order to be free of the accursed fluff. " You know...there's always some article of cocky furniture that needs to be taken down a notch or two. You could uh...be my assistant or something. Righting the wrongs of evil decorative pieces and whatnot." Lural She ha to think about this a moment. "Sure, I'll be your partner. And I'll let you be the meat shield, since you can take a beating better with the armor. So you can lead. I'll happily be your sidekick." She nodded stepping out of the fluff piles and started picking bits out of her fur before giving herself a good shake. "Maybe something a little less fluffy this time." Teigra Cheveyo decided not to comment on the way things were phrased. He had an assistant and that was all that mattered. " Yes, I'm sure the insubordinate fluff has been purged of all thoughts of rebellion for the day. There's plenty of other furniture out there just begging to be taught a lesson though." He pondered this for a moment, eyes turning to glance out into the other room. " There's the arrogant drapes...an uppity table or two...that sarcastic lamp..." Lural "I say we tackle this one room at a time." She slowly started slinking towards the hall way. "First door, that will be our target." She said softly. If he was going to be the brawn, she could be the brains. Teigra " Makes sense," he admitted, padding towards the door. Reaching it, he peered around the corner. Couldn't let them hear the Winis coming. " We'll work our way through the floor methodically, moving from one room to the next. Once we finish this floor, we cover any others." He hadn't been everywhere yet, so he had no idea how large this place really was. Either way, working together, they'd pummel the rebellious furniture into obedience. Lural "Hard and fast, so no other rooms are warned." She whispered, leaping to the other side of the door and peering in. The room was quiet and dark, other then the light that came in from the window. It was either a bright night, or a dim afternoon. It was hard to tell. She looked across at him waiting for him to make the first move. Teigra Cheveyo tensed, eyes surveying the room carefully before making a move. " Surgical strike. Silent and fast. Ready? Set...GO!" The words were only a whisper, so as not to alarm the furniture. The little Wini bounded foreward, no other sound than his paws on the floor, as he tackled a pole lamp, clinging to it as it crashed to the floor. Lural She was right behind him and sprung up, used him as a spring board, and landed on top of a dresser, knocking stuff from it and attacking the large mirror that sat atop it until she managed to get her claws around the top of it and tipped it forward. The rest, gravity did as it smashed into the dresser then the floor. Teigra Unable to resist, Cheveyo let out a chuckle as the sounds of destruction rained down around them. Oh wait, that was broken glass. Whatever. " Brilliant! On to the next camp of rebellion!" Sadly, the invasion would have to wait. The sounds of footfalls of a much larger Wini could be heard in the hallway and in moments, Aponi skidded into the room with a shout. " Cheveyo! What hast thou done? Children, stop this destruction immediately before someone gets hurt!" The elder was upset, yes, but mostly she was worried. There was broken glass all around and with two little ones, it wouldn't take much for disaster to strike. Cheveyo cringed...great, here she was to ruin the day again. Not to mention his grand plans of subduing the evil furniture rebellion. Lural North was behind Cheveyo, cringing just like him. She knew they wouldn't have gotten hurt. Nothing would have stopped them either. Nothing... but a bigger winiko. Her head was down and she looked at Cheveyo a little bewildered. "busted..." She whispered. Teigra " Quite.." he muttered back, tail swishing behind him irritably. " What could you both have been thinking? There ist no explanation for this sort of behavior! Thou couldst have been hurt!" Protective maternal mode was winning out over anger, which could be a good thing for the kids...or not. Aponi moved quickly towards the kids, shuffling them out of the room with a careful eye on the shattered glass at all times. " There is too! We were fine! But now, the rebellion is going to spiral out of control! There's no hope! Every Wini is doooomed!" Cheveyo ranted, despite being shuffled out of the room. He turned an eye to his mother, glaring as best a child can. " When the furniture has made slaves of us all and it's all your fault, how will you feel then, huh? Explain that away!" Aponi seemed to ignore the accusations, silently wondering if her child had already fallen on his head before she'd arrived... Lural North didn't say anything as they were hustled out of the room and Chev spoke angrily to his mother. When he was quiet she looked up at Aponi with sad eyes, nearly crying. We were just playing. I slipped and knocked over the mirror." She started to sob. "He saw it and the lamp got in the way when he was coming to my aid." she sniffled. Teigra Cheveyo shot North a look...the kid was quick. If you didn't want the truth...but eh, whatever works. They had to get out of this trouble if they were going to stop the rebellion, so whatever it took was fine with him. Aponi frowned, glancing between the kids. True, the little girl's story made more sense than the ramblings from her son...maybe he'd hit his head in the fall. That...and she was a sucker for tears. Pausing, she reached out and stroked the little girl's head. " Even so, thou must understand my worry for you both. My anger came from fear that you'd been hurt. Thou must promise to be careful from now on, agreed?" Wow...that was...really easy. Too easy. Cheveyo kept his wonder hidden and nodded enthusiastically. " Okay, yeah, we'll be careful, Mom. We're fine, really. No more falling mirrors or obstacle lamps. Got it." Ha! He'd have to remember this trick for future use... Lural North figured she'd run with it a little more and got closer to Aponi and snuggled against her until she stopped her tears. "I'll be more careful next time... I promise." She said softly. "I didn't... I didn't mean to..." She didn't finish and instead just sniffled. Her face being hidden against Aponi, her brief, faint smile couldn't be seen. Teigra Sighing, Aponi settled down and draped a paw around the little one. She hadn't meant to make her cry...she had just been upset and worried. " Just...be more careful. 'Tis all I ask." These kids were going to wear her out... Oh, she was good. Really good. Cheveyo kept silent, figuring at this point, North could handle this herself. Though he was taking notes. Lural When she felt it was long enough for her to have settled down, had she really been upset, she slowly looked up at Aponi. Her eyes were still misty from her tears. "Thank you." She gave Aponi's other forearm a hug before slowly moving away and sat down to look at Chev. "And thank you for trying to stop me from falling." She didn't wink. That would give them away. Teigra Cheveyo was quick to join in. Nothing like a fun way to stay out of trouble... " No problem. It's a knight's duty to come to the aid of damsels in distress." He smiled winningly, aiming that more at his mother than North. Aponi watched the two, the slightest hint of a smile threatening to creep over her face. " Alright...alright...thou art forgiven. Now, go along and play for a bit longer. We need to be heading for home soon, however, Cheveyo." With that, she nuzzled her son and gave the little girl a pat before padding off to see about cleaning up the mess in the other room. Or getting some two-legger to do it. Lural When Aponi had gone off, North walked quickly in the other direction so they would be out of ear shot. She went to the kitchen, so if Aponi saw the couch, they could be harmlessly playing in the kitchen. With the slick tile floors, they could make a game of sliding around. "Too close." She said softly when her nails clicked on the kitchen floor. Teigra " Nice trick back there," Cheveyo smirked, clinking along behind her. " I think we're in the clear for the time being. However, we should put our plans on hold for today. We've been found out." He glanced around suspiciously at some of the closer, spying kitchen appliances before resuming whispering. " We'll let them get over-confident. Think we've given up. Then...we'll strike again when they're not expecting it!" He grinned, fully confident in his plan. The rebellion wouldn't last, not if he had anything to say about it. Lural North nodded. "We should wait a week or so." She slowly started to slide around. "And start at the top! Find the highest place and work down. Since I've deduced noise travels up and out better then it does down." She twirled a little on the slick floor. "And thanks. It's something that worked on my human, so I thought I'd try it. But we can't over use that. They might get wise to us. We need a scape goat as well." Teigra " Yeah, I figured, but it was a nice one-time trick." He chuckled, testing out the 'slidability' of the floor in here. And sliding into a cabinet as a result, granted, not at a high enough speed to hurt himself. Interesting. He took note of that as well. " Anyway, as for a scapegoat, I'm sure we can find some gullible sap to use as a stand-in if we need it. I got a couple of sisters," he commented, half-joking. Half. Lural "Like the one who was poking you and making you mad earlier?" She smiled, sliding past him and spinning in a circle. "She might be a good one." She lost her footing and ended up sliding on her belly for a few inches, giggling. This was kind of fun. Lural After a little more sliding, North stopped in the center of the kitchen with a yawn. She looked at Chev with a tired look. "I think... I think I've had enough for one day." She smiled at him. He was a lot of fun. "We should play tomorrow. Outside, we can train and hone our skills and come up with a plan, and he furniture won't hear us. She walked over to him and rubbed against the side of his neck once as she passed. "So until then, take care of yourself." Teigra He chuckled at the sight for a moment, forgetting the irritation that had returned with the reminder of the annoyance earlier. " Yeah, the crazed Pokey Monster. She'd be a good scapegoat. Make her good for something anyway. And the other one...well, far as I can tell, she's a goody-goody momma's girl, but who knows." He shrugged, pawing at the floor experimentally. Maybe he could use this knowledge for something later... He blinked at the rub, tilting his head at her. " Sure, more plotting later. I gotta' head for home anyway. Later!" His mind was on the coming war, but still...that was...odd.
