Most of my friends are in band, and I thought it'd be nice to get involved with something school related.
And I like being the most deadly thing on the field (Me + Spinning flag = twisted )

Heh, we were supposed to write a memoir in English about family. I kinda didn't feel like it, so I based mine off of my band life, from beginning to present lol
I mainly joined band 'cause I had always wanted to. My siblings loved it, so I thought it'd be fun. I started out as clarinet 'cause my dad said that most clarinet players suck, and I wanted to prove him wrong lol Now I play bass clarinet and I love it

Because my middle school's drumline was an after school program. The instructor was the band director, and convinced me to change my elective second semester. Now that I'm in high school, I'm continuing with my percussion ensemble class. I saw the movie drumline, I joined a hand drum group in fifth grade, and then in 7th grade I saw a video of Joey Jordison.... enough said. Being a friendless loner freshman? Guitar?

I joined band for the same reason I joined orchestra, and that was because I was deathly afraid of being in front of people. I didn't want to be like that forever, so I joined activities that would force me to confront my fears. Since then it has grown on me and now music is something that I really enjoy and love, and I wouldn't give it up for the world.

Wendy Wicked Harsh Marsh The band needed Flutes... I told my band director that I wanted to play Oboe, he said no, so I chose flute. I love band now. And I can't wait for Marching band. And I was also interested in music so...yep. your band director is a crazy man you get scholarships and whatnot handed to you as long as you can make a noise from a double reed instrument... He said it would be to hard.. It didn't look to hard. He like...Wanted me to play Flute because it would be easy. But hey, as long as i'm in band: I'm happy. whee

Why did you join band? because i thought it would be an awesome way to perform for people. (: Why did you pick the instrument that you did? honestly, because it had a lot of "buttons" p: What do you think you would be doing if you didn't join the band? i would probably be a photographer. although i kind of do that now. What instrument, if any, would you play if you didn't pick the one you did? flute // piccolo.

I joined because i've always loved music and decided to join the band like my sister ^.^ I picked Tuba because I really love the sound it makes I'd probably go back to the way I use to be. Friendless, super shy, alone, etc. honestly, um.....flute

My dad plated the violin and piano when he was younger and my mom wanted to exploit my talents at an early age so she got me interested in and cuz f my dad. She told me to sign up for band and I chose the flute in 4th grade and piano sometime a few years later. That's the short version of my story. Xp
