
Raina smiled sweetly, genuinely pleased as she was sensitive to Rioge's sudden burst of excitement. The boy seemed to hold his friends in the highest regard, from what she could see- she was a little giddy inside that she had already given Faustus some 'insurance', so to speak, if she were ever to become unable to take care of him. While the thought was not a pleasant one, her maternal instinct had long begun to kick in and she was forced to think of such things and what she would do in such a grim situation. Of course, seeing Araran and Rioge reassured her quite a bit, and she had the sudden feeling that she wasn't alone in her situation.
At his question, she laughed gently and bent down so she was crouching, careful not to drag the ends of her clothes on the floor. She held the emerald egg out with pride, but caution, relaxing a little as the bat-like wings around it flapped a few times. Though it could have very well meant the opposite, she had the intuition to sense that Faustus was at ease with this Ashe and that she would do well to be at ease, as well.
