 To Yalitza surprise, she didn't expect when she came home to see a invitation to a party. In fact, in her mind it was something she really needed at this point. To be able to relax and mingle with her fellow students. Although she had pretty decent dresses, there was one she would actually see perfect for the party.
Standing at the entrance of the party, she felt as if she arrive late, but she seen that she hadn't. Her bangs were pulled back from her face, while her hair hung down like normal. Simple and elegant is what she was going for, and in her eyes, she figured she pulled it off. Getting rid of her normal jeans, and shirt tonight she wore a strapless bodice in purple that is adorned with silver and white embroidery over the bust area to compliment the silver wrap tie of the high waisted overskirt. To her, it showed off the curves, making her feel even more feminine.
Around her neck, on a simple silver necklace was a amethyst gem shaped into a silver heart. Around each wrist dangled simple coin bracelets, that chimed as she moved her wrist.
Feeling slightly nervous, she makes her way though the groups of people. She spotted a few she knew, Cypress and Nadyrr. But then there were others she knew from the pictures she drew of them. The rest, she didn't know much of, but she made a point to get to learn about each of them while at the party.
With a chuckle, she gives a small wave to Nadyrr. The last time she seen him, she let him borrow her notes from class. And even then, he was a person that made her smile.

 Noticing another that he knew Nadyrr returned Yalitza's wave. She was also dressed up he saw, with a slight squirm he decided he felt a bit under dressed but then pushed the thought away, he had noticed he wasn't the only one that hadn't changed out of normal clothing. Nadyrr then gestured Yalitza over toward him and Kallisto, so if she wanted a place to go to she had one.
Glancing to Kallisto Nadyrr smiled slightly, "do you know Yalitza?" He had a feeling Kallisto did but then again when Nadyrr had met her he had been pretty sure that Kallisto knew a bit of everyone.

Grave smiled warmly, noting the pink tinge in Belwen's cheeks but making no outward sign that he'd noticed. "I would absolutely love to join in the games later." Grave smiled graciously, inclining his head slightly and casting down his long lashes for a moment before raising his clear eyes to the room again. He caught sight of Kallisto in an evening gown and raised an eyebrow into a slow arch. He swept his gaze around, noting the audiodeck, the punch, and the shnappy hiding conspicuously behind the punch bowl. And then Grave inhaled, letting the excitement of the evening to come begin to build within his chest. He let his polite smile blossom into one full of light and charm and spoke one last thing to Belwen before moving away to join the party proper. "Let me know when you're ready to begin those games. For now, I simply must shmooze like the incorrigible cad I am." Grave grinned swiftly, and gave a quick wink to Belwen before backing up and turning around in a smooth half-pirouette.
He then made his way to Kallisto, taking his steps slowly and letting his eyes play over the light catching in the curls on the back of her neck, the lanterns reflected in the polished metal of her shoulder blades, the deep rich hue of her gown and the sweeping line it made falling from her curved hip to floor. Grave let his gaze devour her for a moment longer, before inhaling a deep breath and calming the warmth pitting in his Svadisthana Chakra. He mastered the appreciative look on his face lest it appear hungry and let himself slip back into cordial formality. It was thus mastered that he arrived at Kallisto's elbow. He waited for a break in the conversation and bowed his greeting first to Nadyrr. "Greetings. If my memory serves me, your name is Nadyrr, is it not?" Grave asked politely but with a friendly tone of voice. He liked the look of this boy, large honest-looking eyes and a gentleness in his psoture. If appearances were anything close to truth, he'd get along with this Choleric just fine.
It was only after this initial greeting that Grave turned to Kallisto and had to pause for a moment as he swept his glance over her ensemble from the front. He noted the glowing gemstones and then the sparkling necklace that drew his eyes oh-so-readily to her bustline. He willed his chakra to remain level and lifted his gaze swiftly enough to her face and smiled with all the warmth their friendship warranted. "Kallisto, my dear, you look absolutely stunning. You do realize, however, that you've made a grave error in wearing such a garment..." Grave continued lowly, his manner becoming quite serious and his expression stern. "For, looking as beautiful as you do, and wearing such a sumptuous dress..." Grave sighed softly, shaking his head ostentatiously. "I'm afraid you simply will have to dance with me." It was only after the strategic moment's pause after the sound of his words had died away and had their chance to sink in, that Grave allowed the twinkling light to come back into his eyes and a mischievous smile to dart at the corners of his mouth.

Nadyrr smiled seeing Grave walk over, he was a stage one as well and he remembered Grave slightly from earlier on. He also remembered Ubel and wondered slightly on him. "Hello, and yes it is Nadyrr," his voice was soft and also a bit shy as he spoke.
He rested back allowing Kallisto's attempt to be drawn to Grave. His smile turned to a bit of a grin listening to Grave's banter, it seems that the two had become good friends after a time. The grin still on his face Nadyrr glanced over to see how Kallisto would react.
Seeing her master relax Istas moved over out of the way and curled up under Nadyrr's chair.

Cypress laughed, her voice tinkling merrily as she sipped some more of her punch. She was just about out, she noticed with a slight frown. I didn't mean at the party, silly she said with a grin. I guess I'm wondering if Science is your first class? she asked, looking around at everyone else. The only other person in this room she knew was Grave. She had spoken briefly with Cyphr, but she doubted this was his kind of party. Still, she'd love to see the energetic boy, or any friendly faces, for that matter. Her eyes swept over the sushi at the table and she gestured off-handedly to Thimble. Care to join me? It looks absolutely delicious she offered, eying the eel rolls.
Cypress was rather hoping that more people were going to show up. Seven of them was all well and good, but she really wanted to meet more people! She didn't really have anyone she could call "friend" yet, though she had high hopes. Thimble's way of talking was refreshing, yet she didn't have too much trouble understanding her. It was . . . kinda nice.

Seeing the motion from Nadyrr, she couldn't help but obey and move toward him as well as the others. A small smile forms as she see two she knew from some of her classes, but never had a chance to formally speak to. Bowing her head, she moves to stand slightly to the side of Nadyrr "In such great company I see Nadyrr. I am glad you wish to have me to join you."
Glancing over at Grave and Kallisto, she bows her heads to them both "Grave and Kallisto, its good to see you both again. You have both change quite a bit since the last time I saw you both." her eyes took in ever change, every new addition on them both. She would add it to their pages in her sketch pad.
Both of them were as beautiful as ever, but she kept that to herself. She wasn't one to spill her feeling on what she thought of people.

Cyphr came in as quietly as he could - which was not remotely - and stopped on the threshhold. He looked around the room a little suspiciously. He didn't really know the hostess, and he wasn't sure if he should even attend. But then he caught sight of Kallisto, and Grave, and he bolstered up his courage a little. Cyphr came thumping into the room. He hadn't exactly dressed up, per say... He had, however, washed behind his ears and under his fingernails. He had freshly washed his hair, so it was especially fluffy and golden. He'd traded out his stained tshirt and ratty shorts for a sleeveless jersey shirt that clung a little tighter to his body than he liked. His shorts had been replaced by other shorts, these ones an olive green cargo style. His fat runners were still in place, but he was wearing a little green tie atop his sleeveless shirt, the collar unbuttoned around his stout neck.
And then about halfway into the room he saw Cypress. He froze on the spot, one foot half-raised in the air. Oh, no...she was here. He suddenly Felt his cheeks burn hot and he felt horribly ridiculour. He wrung his tie between his meaty fists and set his foot down slowly. Should he go? Had he been seen? He couldn't very well turn tail and run away if he'd been noticed. Cyphr gulped hard and tried to find words to say to her. He should have brought her Hybrid with him, and damn it all he would have if he'd known she'd be here! Cyphr stood lost in thought, with a thoughtful frown on his face, making him look both lost and unsure in the centre of the room.

Nadyrr chuckled and glanced up to Yalitza he felt more relaxed. "Well I'm glad you did..." he then paused and glanced to Grave and Kallisto, grinning faintly he stood up and soothed out his patchwork shirt. Flushing with some embarrassment and not being nearly as smooth or flattering as Grave but with a bit of pep he added, "and there seems there will be dancing. I'm not sure if I would be terribly good at it but I think I would like to try. Would you like to dance with me?" His expression shifted to a good matured smile as he waited for her answer. Feeling entirely out of place and rather spontaneous and somewhat embarrassed he did hope she would say yes. Smiling slightly Belwen watched everyone as they went about starting to socialize, considering if she should attempt to speak with a few of the new Zero girls her gaze fell upon Cyphr as he entered the room. She smiled good naturedly remembering him from one of her classes. He did look rather adorable in his outfit, she then saw his look of uncertainty glancing around she grabbed up one of the glasses of fruit punch off the table and headed over to Cyphr.
"Hello, I remember seeing you in one of my classes. Would you like a drink. I'm Belwen." She let her speech come out rather quickly but soothingly attempting to make the boy feel somewhat more at ease.

A blush rose to Yalitza's cheek before she smiles "I would love to Nadyrr, and I am sure you will do fine." leaning in she cuffs her hand just alittle over his ear "If you must know, I don't know if I am good at dancing or not myself." pulling back, she holds her hand out towards him.
She found herself actually relaxing and enjoying herself for the first time in a long time. She been so caught up in her studies, she forgot how much fun it was just to let loose even for alittle bit.

Cypress wasn't really thinking all that well, just enjoying the slight buzzing sensation. Still, her cup of punch was rather empty, and she figured if Thimble would like to join her, well, then that was up to Thimble! She was on her way to the punch bowl and saw Belwen again and she smiled, making some comment that everything was beautiful and delicious. As she was pouring another ladelful of punch into her cup, she finally saw Cyphr behind Belwen. She smiled and waved excitedly, but decided to wait her turn. She grabbed a plate and put a few pieces of sushi on them, now a little more conscious of her v-cut dress. Still, the silk of her gown flowed effortlessly, and, sushi in hand, she glanced about for a place to sit down and eat, biting on her lower lip rather anxiously.

Nadyrr smiled widely again, he was very glad she had agreed. Biting his lip somewhat nervously he then held his hand out to her in the most regal manner he could muster or what he assumed was regal. Feeling a bit silly she offered her a slight smile to show that and a small friendly wink, flushing faintly as he did, "we shall have to find out together then." He snickered slightly, "though I'm not so great at the dressing up and dancing but it is fun to pretend and try it." He was feeling somewhat good natured as he glanced to the musicians hoping they would find something suitable for dancing to play, if he wasn't good at it hopefully the music would be.

Taking a hold of Nadyrr's hand, she gives him a small curtsies before she stands again "I think you look fine Nadyrr. In truth, I thought I was alittle over dressed." she blushes alittle as she looks down at her attire. She was glad she hadn't chosen her royal blue gown, then she knew she would have been really over dressed.
Giving Nadyrr's hand a gentle squeeze, she waits for him to usher her to the dance floor.

Nadyrr glanced over looking at Yalitza's outfit, truthfully he didn't usually look at clothing but now he really did take a look at it. He noted that it was much more fashionable then what she usually wore to class smiling he nodded, "well you look lovely. I am horribly under dressed and you will make me look wonderful." He laughed slightly taking her hand and leading her out to the dance floor as he did.
As he moved to the dance floor he attempted to push away the uneasy feeling, next to him Yalitza seemed very...delicate and he didn't want to do anything too silly.

Yalitza's cheeks darken as she turns towards Nadyrr once they hit the dance floor. Placing her hand on his shoulder, she gives him the brightest smile she can "Thank you." she was nervous, she wouldn't lie. But she did a pretty decent job in hiding it. After all, Nadyrr was making her smile and chuckle just to make sure she has a great time.
So why the strange butterfly knot in her stomach. She felt strange, and yet at the same time it was a good kind of strange. With a light chuckle give him a light shrug "I'm glad I came. I needed to have some fun for a change. And I am glad your here also."

 Kallisto beamed at Nadyrr, fidgeting with her hair, "Thank-you, Nadyrr... I wasn't sure what type of party this was and I think I over-dressed." Laughing easily, she shrugged, "You're looking sharp yourself. What's been keeping you busy?"
Then Yalitza entered the conversation and she blinked, pursing her lips in a thoughtful expression that turned to one of fond recognition, "I've met her a few times... it's a pleasure." She bowed slightly, unused to curtsying.
As the hairs on the back of her neck prickled like someone was watching her, Kallisto shifted, her stance more that of a fighter despite her regal clothing. Had she worn the wrong outfit...? Several people had cast looks her way.... it made her self concious. Grave's roving eyes only gave her pause, strengthening her fears even while buoying her on a high that someone might look at her like that.
Granted, she'd taken the brief opportunity to drink in his majesty as well. How they'd grown together... him every bit as handsome as a gentleman should be. "G-grave!" Blushing at the compliment, she tugged on her hair some more... the tickle of it against her bare shoulders reminding her she'd worn her curls down. "I'm glad you like it... I wasn't sure...." Then she blinked and laughed, shaking her head as she bowed once more. The warmth in her eyes matched Grave's - they were old friends and it was times like this it would be a shame not to have a little fun at least.
She had been about to excuse herself from Nadyrr and Yalitza's presence but it seemed they'd already made plans so she shrugged and slipped her hands into his, "I love a dance, old friend. Thank-you." Beaming, she stepped away to lead them into the area of the room reserved for dancing.
