Alya looked at the palace gates, and admired how they stood strong and proud. She sighed and looked at the arriving carriages, and she looked as they went past. It all seemed so strange to her and unrealistic. She shook her head, she had come to see the prince's blessing and she wouldn't be sidetracked. She walked swiftly through the palace gates

A young boy looked around, the streets were awfully crowded today. Atrum found himself being dragged along with the crowd as he silently followed along to see what was going on. It must have been a very elaborate happening, even commoners were dressed in their best clothes and decorated to look nice for... well wherever they were going. That made Atrum stick out like a sore thumb. His clothes were nice, but not ment to look good. They were traveling clothes, and left the brunette room to be comfortable traveling from town to town. After finding a way out of the crowd Atrum noticed he had been spit out near the forest. The place gave him the creeps, he couldn't even imagine being inside of it. But when he peeked over to the mass of trees and wildlife, he was surprised. A girl made her way into the city, she was small, younger than he was. She looked like she was going in the same direction that the townspeople were, so he decided if she was going he could too.

As the light swept over the land, it uncovered some of the mist that surrounded the dark castle near the woods. Today was a special day, all the floors but the very top one which faces the city. In there, embers turn into ash as the fire dies out. Lying on a bed filled with papers and burnt out incense way a lady. Her eyes flickered open ever so slightly. As she rises up, the cold air vanished from the room. She stood and wobbles a bit, not used to waking at such times. But today, was special. She glided over to her window, pulling the drapes ever so slightly, she winced as the little amount of light poured in and blinded her momentary. When her eyes became adjusted, she glanced at the city that lay before her, not to far away. Today was the blessing of the new royal. Lila went over to her trunk when she returned the drapes back to its shielding position. Searching, she found the dress she wanted to wear, a silk dress of deep crimson and black. Wearing it with care and looking herself in her mirrors. She reached her drawers, grabbed her veil and descended downstairs.
The corridors echoed loudly as her light steps walked. The house empty of people but her, collected dust over the years of poor maintaining and neglect. It really did seem like a haunted castle. Before she walked out the door, she grabbed her Blood laced umbrella and set out under the sun. She made way towards the city when she reached the city gates; she could see all the villagers gathering for the blessing. Continuing, she felt the stares of some, hearing their snickering. Yes, the cloths she had chosen to wear was not... quiet the right colors for the blessing of a new born royal. But extravagant it was.

Akira was up before the now risen sun. She was out in the forest playing with her animals of the forest. The way she did every morning. The only thing that made today any different is that Akira would be venturing out of her protective forest into the open of the city. Her mother begged to come but Akira told her no and locked her in the house using ivy to bar the doors and windows. Now Akira walked the crowded streets towards the palace where the newborn price would be blessed. She felt extremely out of place. Akira had her purple and blue hair tied up into a pony tail and was wearing a simple green dress. She walked normally up to the palace. People, men inparticular stared at her as she passed. Akira smirked and with a wave of her hand a flower appeared. This she put in her hair above her ear to help make her beauty less noticable hoping people would stare at the slower and not her.

Rayne stood at the edge of the forest and sighed. "Another day alone."Rayne said and turned away from the town. She walked through the forest. Her tattered blue dress followed her movements as did her dark hair. She came upon the small stream by her hut of a house. She sat down to fill the small bottle she had with water and tied it back to the string around her waist. She went into her hut house and grabbed what little money she had and walked past the forest edge to the town.

(Ah, lets pull a classic. Running into someone ^^) As Atrum made his way through town, he picked up on where he was headed. "A blessing?" The boy was curious, and wanted to see what it was. He knew it had something to do with this kingdom's new prince, so it had something to do with the baby. Looking up the hill the boy stopped, gawking at the palace. He had never seen a castle so estravegant. No wonder people were dressing up so nicely. It would be strange walking in with the clothes he had, but the boy knew no one would notice if he stayed toward the back of the ceramony. Snapping back to reality, Atrum quickened his pace toward the castle, but in doing so bumped into one of the people also making their way there. If he hadn't been spacing out earlier, he would have heard the snickering from some of the townsfolk, but he only thing he noticed was the girl he bumped into. She was lovely, but you could tell she didn't come from around here. Her crimson eyes and soft white hair gave that away. Plus her clothes were also dark, while most were wearing bright clothes for the blessing of their future king. "Sorry." Atrum apologized for his little act of clumsiness.
Valencia stepped out of her carriage and left the man her drove her there with a huge tip. "I'll be back, don't go anywhere, you hear?" The carriage driver simply nodded, staring at his tip that he had just recieved. Looking toward the palace, the half-demon smirked. There were so many people here, it would take days to figure out if somethign was missing. For most theiving bandits that's a good thing, but for Valencia it wasn't. She wanted people to know when something was stolen. For them to dwell in the fact it had gone missing right under their noses. It made her day to see the wanted ads and reward sections in the local paper with the item missing and a guess at who the theif was. The guesses were always wrrong, Valencia made sure of that. While going into the extravegant castle Valencia shivered. An elemental was nearby, she ould just feel it in the air. Looking around all she saw were commoners and... an elf? Well, she looked more human than elf, but it was obvious she held elf in her blood. The little girl passed by with the rest of the crowd, and Valencia didn't need to worry about following her because they were going to the same place. "Two birds with one stone? Ooh, my day gets better and better."

Akira walked her eyes glued to the extravagant castle ahead of her. She smiled today would be fun. Thought she knew that she needed to watch out for hunters. It was bad for her to use her power like that. Akira silently yelled at herself for being so stupid. She reached her hand up and felt the flower in her hair and smiled. Akira loved her powers.

Cassie stared out her window, the crowds drawing towards the castle. She rolled her eyes and walked into her closet, pulling on a silk dress that fluttered softly around her knees. She quickly tied a bit of hair off her face and lastly placed her necklace with her family jewel on it. The large diamond sparkled from the soft rays of light that hit it. She stared at her reflection her brown eyes similar to that of a puppies. She rolled her eyes and made her way out of the house and past the many people up to the castle. She herself had an invitation because she was respected highly amoung the kingdom. She bowed before the Royals and smiled warmly at the child.

James, who happened to be in a tree nearby knew there would be a party here, it had been all over the news, he however didn't care. He wanted to wait for the right time, and go in steal a handful of money and get out. That's all he was here for. His hair, dark black, flew a bit behind him. The wind rustling past his skin. This was going to be a great party... for him at least.

Someone bumped into Mizuki and as she turned around and looked at the culprit, she was faced with a boy with split eye colors. She felt a bit of a annoyance, day walking wasn't particularly her favorite hobby, people snickering around her was also not something she appreciates, to top it off, some poor commoner that can't even dress up more nicely, bumps into her. The boy said sorry for some reason, she felt even more annoyed by it. She sends a chill into the grounds around the whole area. She could see the boy's sudden discomfort and his legs buckle like a tin can, rattling in the wind. Mizuki stopped the chilling and faced back towards the kingdom, shielding her face from anymore on lookers. Her eyes squinted into slits, puckering her lips and clenched onto the umbrella tighter.
'Today, the kingdom was going to have many losses, as a gift from my dear father; I'll keep all the trivial ones out.' She mad her way around some of the more crowded spots and pin a bell onto several places. Mostly those of which were large loop holes in security. As she headed back to her previous spot to watch the blessing, she could hear one of her bells ring. No one but with heighten hearing such as hers would not hear it. She looked over to the direction and watched the intruder's leg go numb and fall. The waves from the bell sends out a chilling effect either freeze or numb a person on the extent of power used on it.

Leila came out from her small cottage home outside of the town. Today she planned on seeing the blessing of the royal prince, and nothing was going to get in her way. She had certainly dressed for the occasion, in a beautiful gown of crimson red and white swirls. It was the dress her grandmother had given to her, as a birthday present. Not only was it gorgeous, it was also quite deceiving, for she was able to hide her swords underneath the skirt of the dress. Leila always was one to be careful, you never know when someone might try to kill you.
She carefully made her way into the city, blending into the crowd of well-dressed people. The blessing sure was crowded today for sure. As Leila strolled along to the castle, she couldn't help but notice a man standing in a tree by himself. She merely saw him in her peripheral vision and would've pondered more about him, but she came across a food stand offering many spicy foods. Her weakness for spicy foods overcoming her, she took the time to stop and buy a treat for herself.
When she took a bite, she found it wasn't hot enough to her liking. Hoping no one would notice, she quickly put her hand over the food and heated it up herself. She took another bite, satisfied with her work and continued on her way.

Lonesome secured his sword and pack on his back as he entered the city. He noticed there was something big happening today but didn't care to find out. He walked into an inn/tavern titled "Scarlet Moon" and sat on a stool at the bar. "Know any place I can crash for the night?" he asked the innkeeper a bit roughly. Eyeing the sword on the kids back the innkeeper replied, "Yeah we got a few rooms left open here." then asked as an after thought, "You here for the Blessing?" Lonesome looked at the innkeeper as he fished out ten gold coins from his pouch on his belt and said, "Nope just looking for someone. By the way you haven't seen a man with one ear around here have you?" The innkeeper shook his head no and handed Lonesome a key. "Third room on your left up the stairs kid, enjoy your stay." Lonesome nodded and headed up to his room.
He looked out a window and saw people heading to that "Blessing" the innkeeper had mentioned. Lonesome took out a bottle of ink and quill and some paper then placed the materials on the table beside the bed. "Well I won't find any answers sitting in here." he muttered to himself and pulled out a cloak. Pulling the hood over his head covering his horns, he left the inn and slipped into the crowd of people going to this "Bessing".

Rayne was walking around the town and noticed that several of the usual vender's that she went to were closed for today. Not all of them but some of them. She was confused to what was going on today. She walked around the town and spotted a big crowd of well dressed people near the castle. She decided to try and figure out what was going on. "I can't believe that the blessing of the prince is today! I nearly forgot!" A lady in front of her dressed in a beautiful green and white dress. 'ah a prince blessing. I didn't know that they had new prince recently.' Rayne thought. Rayne stayed in the forest most of the time, only going into the town to buy food or other things. Rayne noticed that she stood out with her tattered blue dress. She was clearly a peasant. She stayed toward the back of the crowd, hoping no one would notice the peasant girl. Though there was another reason why she stayed towards the back. She was half vampire. She could smell all the human blood around her. It made her thirst for it but she resisted. She hated that she was half vampire. She wished to be just an ordinary human, and having power over water wasn't helping the ordinary-human-factor. Rayne sighed and walked over to a tree, not noticing that someone was standing in it.

Valencia yawned when she got into the palace walls. This place was so snuffy and boring. Everyone was freaking out about how they looked and what the stupid baby would be like. This bandit could have cared less. Looking behind her, the half demon laughed when one of her spies was frozen onto a bell. Now she was sure an elemental was here. "He was a dufus anyways." Looking over to the sides of the room, two fellow bandit members dissapeared into the crowd. Her bacjup was rarely needed, but having them there was more entertaining than not having them. The female looked around, noticing only ne other pair of eyes looking toward the intruder. "The vampire princess? Oh joy, a tough one to catch." Valencia frowned. This would be alot of work to get her caught. Though she was one of the many, there were sure to be different elementals here. Maybe an easy one like peace or goody two shoes of happiness. The half demon rolled her eyes, this task was so full of trouble. "But it's soo much more than worth it." When she looked back over she quieted her thoughs, the cerimony was begining, meaning it was time to start her side job.

Leila continued through the ever growing crowd of people, both common and rich alike dressed in their best garments. Normally Leila would've been fine in a crowd, but today it seemed unusually packed. Like many foreigners have come from all around. Nonetheless she kept her happy disposition and moved onward, though keeping herself on guard. She then saw someone whom she felt seemed slightly suspicious. It was a woman dressed VERY extravagently for the occasion, but she gave off the persona of someone bored. Her eyes were what scared Leila the most. They were sharp and cold, and constantly scanning the crowd, as if looking for something. Leila moved on, but kept her eyes on the woman.
Her biggest concern was that she was on the lookout for Leila herself. She knew that, one day, people would be after her for her abilities of bending fire. Her grandmother had told her about all the myths of people with elemental powers and that sooner or later people with evil intentions would be after her. This was one of the reasons her grandma had sent her to martial arts school.
Leila kept going onward though, following the crowd with her body but watching the woman with her eyes.
