Lamen was now being inspected by some stadium-hired Chanseys on the other side of the field. After a couple of seconds of tiptoeing around the well-baked corpse dehydrated trainer, they suddenly both blasted out a large pressurized jet of water at her from opposite sides.
"HARRRGLEBLARGLEGLRRRR----!!!111!!" gonk She exclaimed, in time for them to stop.
"YOU-" She didn't have time to twitch her eye say her thanks, because the Chanseys twirled out of sight quickly enough. Now completely dripping wet, the trainer confusedly blinked at the scene before her- for some reason she could not fathom, Donut had used Ice Punch. Which was cancelled out easily enough by Refresh.
"Damn... I didn't know she had that move. Uh... Donut, use Confuse Ray!" She felt bad making him fight in his current condition [pokemon center, I am going to pay you a long visit after this...], but he didn't seem to have given up yet.
Confused himself that the attack did not work, the gastly mustered up a sluggish confuse ray, which he launched at Chirper with at least a little more enthusiasm, seeing as his trainer had come back to life. "Gaaaasss~"

Luna blinked at the Chanseys. Now why hadn't they come in during her last match with Lamen when they both passed out? Where were they then?! Or maybe they were put in because of that last battle.
But this was no time to be thinking about that. Shaking her head and willing herself to just temporarily ignore the odd scene, she focused her eyes on the battle. She was about to yell at her pokemon to move, but then a look of ABSOLUTE ENLIGHTENMENT filled her face and she started to giggle.
And giggle.
And giggle.
And probably continued to creep out or confuse all the occupants of the stadium herself. Seeing the concerned looks of the people around her ('OH CRAP, HAS SHE SNAPPED?!'), Luna decided an explanation was needed.
"Confuse Ray is a ghost type attack, Chirper is part normal type! You're immune CHirper, immune~" She said with another giggle.
Chirper took that as a cue to launch towards the gastly with one last thief attack, completely shrugging off the attack, while Luna's own confusion attack distracted the others. He was a master thief afterall and he would never let a moment's distraction go to waste.

 [Shitzor, Fayah, Chirper is immune to every status effect that Donut can dish out! xD]
Lamen was wondering whether the heat was beginning to get to Luna as well, when she declared the cause of her gigglefit- causing the ghost's trainer's eyes to twitch. How could she forget?
"Donut- Gah!" And it was done. While Lamen was busy smacking her head, Donut was destroyed in an instant, and returned to his Safari Ball in a bright red flash.
"...Uh, good match, Luna. Sorry I wasn't much of a challenge this time. Also, CAN WE. PLEASE. GO OUT. FOR SOME. ICE CREAM NOW. ;A; " <-The poor thing, she was close to collapse again...

Chirper flew back to Luna and retrieved his hat from his trainer with a very satisfied expression on his face. The ball of gas had dispersed and he had just secretly stolen the wallet of a random crowd-goer. "Bluu Bluu~" He cooed into Luna's ear.
The trainer also returned her pokemon into his pokeball and caught the wallet that fell from Chirper's grip after he had been converted into a red beam that was sucked back into the sphere.
"Sure, I have some extra cash~" Luna said cheerfully.
Someone in the crowd shouted "HEY! THAT'S MY WALLET!" but he was completely ignored and unnoticed.
