"Not really, no." Cissia twitched her tail in irritation. "I don't mind them when they're far off or tall, but when they're low to the ground, they reach out and tangle themselves in my mane and tail and pull on it and tangle it. It's really annoying, especially when pieces break off and stick out in my mane."
She looked around. "Is there any other way to get around this area without having to touch those stupid trees?"

She did not like trees because they got stuck in tail and mane. How very, odd. It happened to him often, but he never really cared. Alik gave an internal shrug. Everyone had their own issues, who was he to judge?
“Yeah, I think there is, but it will take a little bit longer to get there. We just have to go around them. Is that better for you?” He was lazy and that was why he usually took the easy way.
Its okay, sorry it took me so long to reply back. ^^;

Cissia nodded. "Yeah, I really don't like going through trees." The only exception was if they were high enough up off the ground that the branches didn't reach out and snag at her flank and mane.
Besides, walking longer with Alik wasn't going to be all that bad; worse comes to worse they have a bit of awkward silence, but it would be a good opportunity to get to know him better.

“Alright, let’s go then.” The field lay out before them as he took the lead. Really though, how could someone not like trees? They gave so much shade. Perhaps it was bushed she didn’t like all too much. Yeah, that made more sense.
An awkward silence hung in the air, but Alik ignored it. As they continued to walk, the trees that lined the outside of the field crept closer. Of course, all of these trees were reaching towards the sky, so they shouldn’t be a problem. From their they would be able to hear and see the ocean.

Cissia wore a frown as the line of trees crept closer and closer with each step. It wasn't that she disliked trees; she thought they were pretty. She disliked the branches and leaves and the sap that stuck itself to her beautiful coat and mane.
It took a lot of effort and pampering to keep her as beautiful as she was; her mane and tail tangle free, the gloss and smoothness of her black coat. Her human even went so far to put the scent of roses on her own rose marking.
The tree line was soon in front of them, and Cissia stopped for a moment and sighed, then shot a demanding look to her companion. "I'll go through, but if I get anything in my Tail or Mane, you have to get it out." Without waiting for him to respond, she walked into the trees.

Alik blinked in surprise at her outburst. Was she truly that worried about it? Looking at his own tail, it had leaves stuck to it, but he just shrugged his shoulders. Perhaps it was his laziness, but he really didn’t care at all about what he looked like. Espescially when it came to his mane and tail.
Her tail did look silky, but besides that it just looked like a normal tail. Perhaps it was just something about her personality? Alik couldn’t comprehend that maybe some mares and stallions actually took care with their appearance than just waking up and going about their day.
“Very well, if something gets into your mane or tail, I will carefully pick it out for you.”
He made the promise while rolling his eyes. He thought it ridiculous, but if she yelled at him for it, than she must truly care more than he could understand.
