Penny-Anna
...I liked the stuff in Germany.

What's there not to like about "Deutsche Daleken"?

Penny-Anna
EDIT: I just remembered something else!
Gwen is descended from Gwyneth. It is now official. : D

Yeah, that was a nice one - and yay for the genius of Tosh!

Shame about Donna, but she will be remembered.

OMFG!!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The whole thing was amazing!

Three Doctors, (Well, 1 Doctor, one half-Human Doctor and a Doctor Donna): RTDs best idea yet!! He went out on a high note!

German Daleks: The funniest thing I have ever heard in the history of everything!!

K9 PWNS THE WORLD!!!

I'm not really sure how I feel about the ending. I guess watching it while being tired wasn't the best thing, but still, I had more of a reaction with normal episodes.

I didn't really like it to be honest. I screamed a 'yes' when I saw that the Doctor didn't regenerate (though I had a feeling he wouldn't) and laughed when the Daleks lost control, but then sense kicked back in. I was thinking "She presses a button and makes every last Dalek lose control, and all sorts of other crap from a control panel in a flipping holding cell. Isn't that a tad beyond reality." Not to mention about a thousand other things that I thought were a little ridiculous. (When Martha, Jack and everyone else were playing their Trump cards and telling the Dalek fleet to back off, or they either blow up the Earth or the Crucible. I sat there thinking "They're either going to be teleported, or something's going to happen to stop them." and wallah, they all get teleported.) And not to mention the whole prophecy of the most faithful companion dying. I don't consider a memory wipe a death. I was thoroughly disappointed about that one. Sad though, but still, I was expecting a real death.

I'm probably going to get shot, but my reaction a like 'meh' through every part except the beginning. And I was expecting some kind of little bit at the end to make me think 'what's going to happen at christmas?" like with the last two seasons. I mean, there was Donna in a wedding dress at the season two finale (I though "WTF O.o") and the Titanic crashing through the side of the TARDIS in the season three finale. (Another "WTF" moment)
I was a little disappointed there. -_-

Not to say the whole thing was bad. I did like the two Doctors (what's not to like about that? =D) and the Doctor Donna. I also liked the Time Lord/Human Doctor staying with Rose. That made me happy.
And the German Daleks = Win!

I am SOO happy that David Tennant is still The Doctor!!! *squee!!* I can't wait for the Christmas special!!! But does that mean that there will be a Children in Need special too? and is there going to be another Christmas and Children in Need after the upcoming ones? As in ones for 2008 and 2009? or are they going to skip 2009 completely? Cuz I sure hope they don't!!!!

I also think that the end was a little overkill ... Don't shoot me!! ... like Akuma said I don't really count a memory wipe as death. Though I hate that The Doctor is alone again, like Rose said earlier in the season, The Doctor needs someone to stop him.

I LOVE the episode too, especially the part when the Daleks lost control, though I still don't understand why the Dalek control thing was in the dungeon area. I get why the planet part was, cuz Dravos controlled everything.

I'm glad that Rose got her Doctor (sort of), though eventhough this won't count for anything, I feel sorry for the 2nd Doctor cuz he'll always be second best, cuz he isn't the originall (duh, sorry). Maybe they could make a spin off!! lol

Wow. That was a sad ending. Donna had to lose all her memories just like that. That is sad. She'll never remember him or the adventures they had. I agree, though, that it's not really death. It's just a rewind.

At least Rose got to be with the Doctor again and will get to be (sort of) for the rest of her life. It's really nice. Wow, though. Genocidal Doctor. Heh. That made me think of the Doctor killing that whole group of Sea Devils.

That was fun but intense...and then it lost the intensity. I still had fun after that.

eek at "the Doctor's soul". Wow.

Wow, that was, hmmm, I can't quite think of what to say about this episode.
Definitely sad. crying Donna is my favorite companion. And seeing what happened, I almost cried. I do kind of see it as a death, it's like the Doctor killed the Donna he knew, and made her the naive pre-Runaway bride Donna. Let's hope her grandad and mum can guide her through life with a positive attitude, so that she can become the clever brilliant Donna without the help of the doctor. smile

The Rose/FakeDoctor thing was strange, I wasn't really satisfied with it. It's not THE Doctor, just a copy. It just bothers me, I mean, at least she has A doctor, but only an adaption... well an adaption with one heart and all of his memories.
But all in all, I really enjoyed it. It was entertaining and witty in some moments. I think RTD did a pretty good last episode. Good job RTD! mrgreen
Just my review, moving along. sweatdrop

I just watched it and I have to say I disliked it up until the ending with Donna.

Now I felt like everything was a mess and totally confusing and I'm pretty good at following most crap but it just felt so rushed. As soon as everyone got into the Vault with Davros I totally lost my mind. There were just too many characters to keep up with. The whole episode was just so all over the place... I can't really describe it. The episode I saw, however, was in bad quality and I might need to see it again.

They also killed all the Daleks off again... great... and now they're going to bring them back somehow which will make me groan. I felt Donna flipping the switches and everything to drive all the Daleks crazy and the Other Doctor flipping a switch to kill all of the Daleks was a bit of a deus ex machina.

Another thing that bugged me; why would the Doctor offer to bring Davros into the TARDIS? I can understand offering it to Sec, Caan, and the Master, but Davros? And with all those other companions in the TARDIS? I felt the idea was a bit silly.

I was groaning in the scene where the Doctor was pulling the earth back to its original place and everyone was cheering, happy, and sugar coated. It just seemed... so cheesy... I don't know how to describe it but there were just Daleks here! Davros! And they defeated them all like that! *Snap*
If I defeated my greatest enemy like that I'd just be like, "Yeah, well what now?" It was just so... uhg...

"Stolen Earth" was so promising...

Now the ending with Donna was absolutely heartbreaking. It was probably the best part of the episode. The way she got her memory erased and then when he said he was leaving she just waved him off saying "Yeah, bye, whatever" was just... Ouch. It's defiantly a sad moment.

Now don't shoot me down, I love Doctor Who a lot but I just thought this episode was mess. Someone might change my opinion by explaining stuff to me.

Wow. That was some episode. Very sad that we're loosing Donna as a companion, since she was easily my favourite New!Who companion. I'm glad she's not dead, though, and really, she gets to have a normal life. A lot of people take that for granted. (But I still got teary when he had to wipe her memory. sad ) And she had such a moment of glory before going, too! I mean, being part Timelord! Man, I'm going to miss Donna. crying

Also, looks like the rumours about Mickey and Martha joining Torchwood might be true. It'll be interesting to see Mickey as part of that gang.

Loved Donna trying to flirt with Jack throughout the episode. XD "You can hug me, if you want.... No, really, you can hug me!" Really well parallelled with Sarah Jane completely blowing him off.

I think I like the resolution with the Doctor and Rose. It's enough to keep the 10/Rose fans happy, but they made the new Doctor different enough (part human, human lifespan, no regeneration, etc.) that the hardcore "The Doctor can't have a human love interest!" people should be satisfied, too. Or at the very least, not as upset as they would have been had the actual Doctor ended up with her. PartHuman!Doctor can probably pull off domestic.

I was really worried about Jackie throughout this episode. They didn't tell us until the very end that she'd already had her baby, and they never showed enough of her belly to be able to tell (not to mention her shirt was kinda baggy in that area), so I kept wondering if she might still be pregnant. I was afraid she might loose her baby. VERY glad that that didn't happen.

Davros recognizing Sarah Jane was very chilling, and at the same time I agreed with him that it was very fitting for her to be there. She was there are the start, and at the end.

Also, I've been pronouncing Davros wrong, apparently.

Oh, and when Jack got shot by the Dalek, I forgot for a second that he's immortal. I was all like "No! Jack!.... Oh, right."

Oh, man, what else... This episode was just so full... I think that's all I've got to say. At least for now.

...............

I miss Donna already.

Hehe, now Rose gets to put up with a quirky Donna!Doctor. whee

Was anyone else just heart(s)broken for Real Doctor? He was all alone again, having to watch his clone be the one to snog the face off Rose, and basically get what he himself wanted? The whole time I just watched him and bawled my head off.

That and when Donna got her memory wiped, and Wilf was waving the Doctor off. I was a mess. Hopefully Donna will be able to have a small twinge of "Hey, I'm better than all this, let's kick life's a**!" and be able to recapture what she was.

LOVED:
-Rose complimenting Martha on her cajones when she was threatening to initiate the Osterhagen Key
-GERMAN DALEKS!! Extermineirin!
-Tosh's final hurrah. 3nodding
-I for one thought pushing around the Daleks was funny in a catharsis sort of way. This had to have been good for the characters, who'd lived in fear of Daleks at at least one point in their lives.
-DONNADONNADONNADONNA. You will be missed, you awesome psuedo Time-Lady you.

I want to watch it again, tomorrow at the earliest. Maybe I can get through it without wondering when my questions are going to be answered through the whole thing.
It still don't think it's as good as the other endings. I ran around to all my friends saying "You need to catch up! This finale is going to be awesome. I mean, everyone is in it! All the people from the spinoffs are there! And Caan! Love the insanity!" -insert insane Doctor Who fangirlish squeals and blabbering here-
Now, I'm just going to be like "Meh...Stolen Earth was too promising. The first part was killer, the ending was..well...meh." ._.

I'm going to shut my mouth now. I've thrown in my comments twice, I think that's enough.

Okay where to start......Well I loved it they way everyone came together. When jack go shot and rose went over to him thats when i remember she didnt know he cant die. I had a feeling that the DT was going to be the doctor still the hand trick was golden I love it!

Now for the Companions:

Jack/Martha/Micky- Jack is jack is all i can say about him i like it when he was flirting with Sarah. Martha a very strong women to strong for UNIT but she is just a great woman if she is going to be in Touchwood I cant wait. Micky Poor Micky I could tell he was never going to get Rose again to see him at the end catching up with Martha and Jack was cool for me.

Sarah-Jane Smith- What can i saw she was just awesome! I Was so happy when i saw her i couldnt sit down i was leaping for joy. and to see K9 just made my day big huge smile. I hope they make season 2.

Rose- My Sweet Rose of all the companions i Love her the most and What RTD did for her made me happy so very happy i was in tears she can now have her doctor sort of and live and good life. I though she was going to die it would of made me sad but i would of moved on. at the end they way the doctor refer back to the first two seasons. I am so happy for you rose!!!

Donna- First let me say i might get flamed for what i say here. Donna was a good commanion for the doctor andwhat happen toher was bad but i just dont feel sad about it at all. She fit the doctor real well and the fact that she is still a doctor-donna could lead to some fanfiction. Good bye donna may you live on in Fanfiction forever.

The bit about Gwen and Gweenth was great

Overall i loved the ending everything was brilliant!!! I cant wait to see who the next compions is and what the doctor does next.

I am mourning for Donna. After the show SEVERAL TIMES went out of its way to make it appearant that Donna's life was just horrible before the Doctor, she was returned to that. Every good and special thing was just ripped out of it and thrown away. She can't be told, she won't remember it's just gone. Fate worse than death in my opinion. I will be mourning for awhile.

And Micky is going to replace TOSH in Torchwood?? That's sure what it seemed like... I have expected Martha to replace Owen for some time now, but I don't wanna see Micky instead of Tosh. GRRRRRR...

Davros was done absolutely correctly. The doctor not really regenerating but regenerating was kinda cheesy. I"m glad Tennant is still around though.

Again, I'm going to miss Catherine Tate. I was all ready for Donna to go until she had this crappy "I'm trapped in the hell of a life that the Doctor once rescued me from" ending. Yeah, its going to be awhile before I decide I'm done about this one. RTD screwed that up. If there's one thing about the Doctor that shouldn't be messed with, its the fact that he makes people better. He's the Doctor after all. Yeah there's death and drama, but they're better. Not so with donna, she was only better for a time, then he put her back where she was. Doctors aren't supposed to make people Un better. Not even time lords.

Z OMG
Ack! It was so awesome =D
You have no idea how badly my fangirl squeed with two David Tennants. Seriously. That was just hot =]
And they were different enough for it to work as well. Because really, blue-suit, half-human Doctor was actually a bit of a b*****d.
But still, two David Tennants.
=D

But! Donna! OMG! I sobbed. That's what Dalak Caan meant, that the most loyal companion would endure everlasting death, because Companion!Donna is dead, even if Donna isn't. It was very, very sad.
And her Grandad. He is sincerely the best.
That set me off again.

Not so sure about Cybermen at Christmas. There was no cliffhanger for us to sink our teeth into like Donna as a bride, or the Titanic crashing into the Tardis.
So what's it all gonna be about eh?

EDIT: German Daleks were actually the COOLEST thing I've ever seen on the Beeb!

There was a trailer after the credits for the Christmas special. There are Cyberman, that's for certain. Her grandpa is great, I definitely agree. I almost thought he was gonna ask if he could come along, though I don't really think he's the Doctor's type haha

Question.
Did that count as one of the Doctor's regenerations? So is he now on his 11th?
question

i dont think so, he said that he used the regeneration cycle to heal himself but stopped it before he could fully regenerate, as he said why would he want to? razz

Aye he healed himself with it, then he redirected it to his hand to create the second Doctor. =)

So does that make the second doctor the 11th doctor...*ish confused*

-Good things-
Wilf cause hes awesome always.
Two doctors yay!
Time lady donna
GERMAN DALEKS
Spining daleks

-bad things-
Donnas gone. why crying
The way the whole thing felt a bit rushed
The cheesy way doctor number two goes to the parallel world with rose.
The kinda sad disappointing end.

and um its late and I will add stuff later.
