Are they really dead this time or just fake dead like they've been for the past what...four seasons?

it made was okay.
the doctor pulling the Earth was hilarious
ROSE IS GONE AT LAST. THIS IS VERY AWESOME AND COOL AND COMPLETELY OBVIOUS.

but the Cybermen for christmas??? this is getting ridiculous, and the Daleks when DoctorDonna was in control..they completely lost the scare factor that they ever had, i mean they were pushing the Daleks around like a tin box, and the Cybermen arent scary anymore either, they are both just utterly overused by Davis now.

Davis' episodes are too full of hysteria, but then suddenly it's gone because of something stupid and it's like mad hooray for that being gone now!

I really enjoyed it, but... at times it was so contrived, that... I despaired.
But I shall remain positive, and just say what I liked.
I liked what happened to Donna, even if the way there was kind of silly. That was really sad.
I liked Dalek Caan and his crazy dancing. Whee, look at him go!
I liked Davros. I've seen some of his old serials, and I think the did him very well.
I liked the stuff in Germany.
And I can't think of anything else I liked.
EDIT: I just remembered something else!
Gwen is descended from Gwyneth. It is now official. : D

Saphira_lights Question. Did that count as one of the Doctor's regenerations? So is he now on his 11th? question i dont think so, he said that he used the regeneration cycle to heal himself but stopped it before he could fully regenerate, as he said why would he want to? razz

He's good. I loved this ep. Perfect ending to the series, and you have no idea how glad I am they saved Torchwood (rabid fan girl)! The Donna close was the one moment in any DW ep that's brought me close to tears, it was so moving to see her go from Timelord-ness to old Donna the uber-temp. And Rose finally got her Doctor! Ish. Clever to take it back to Bad Wolf Bay, brought everything full circle, as they kept saying in the ep. Now I just have to survive 'till Christmas!

Ack! It was so awesome =D
You have no idea how badly my fangirl squeed with two David Tennants. Seriously. That was just hot =]
And they were different enough for it to work as well. Because really, blue-suit, half-human Doctor was actually a bit of a b*****d.
But still, two David Tennants.
=D
But! Donna! OMG! I sobbed. That's what Dalak Caan meant, that the most loyal companion would endure everlasting death, because Companion!Donna is dead, even if Donna isn't. It was very, very sad.
And her Grandad. He is sincerely the best.
That set me off again.
Not so sure about Cybermen at Christmas. There was no cliffhanger for us to sink our teeth into like Donna as a bride, or the Titanic crashing into the Tardis.
So what's it all gonna be about eh?
EDIT: German Daleks were actually the COOLEST thing I've ever seen on the Beeb!
