That night, whether a blessing of good Karma that Colche is long overdue for, or merely a coincidence in the somewhat random genetic process as Colche's body begins to physically adapt to the serums, Colche's transformation is comparitively mild as far as pain goes.
The first thing that occurs is darker patches begin appearing over her skin - like large freckles or birthmarks. Collections of melanin appearing in spots, and in places thickening to abstract stripe-like markings.
Her irises expand a bit beneath her closed lids, the corners of her eyes taking on a slightly more almond shape.
Her finger and toenails harden and lengthen to short claws - also relatively painlessly as they grew out.
As the process continues into the night, during which Colche probably didn't even wake, her ears stretched and lengthened, but keeping a round shape.
Bits of fine fur grow very sparsely around the back of her neck and elbows, but hardly more than a dusting of fur....
finally, the minutest stub of a tail protrudes at the base of her spine, during perhaps the only painful part for her as her tailbone unfuses.

Attached to the front of your duplex door is a handwritten note with the Feral Labs logo in the top left corner.
In a flowery script, the following message is written:
The Invitation You are cordially invited to a meet and greet Halloween costume party to take place Halloween night. The staff will be setting up a tent just for this occasion and will be catering, of course. We know that you most likely did not pack costumes, so if you will just leave a message with the staff (through the intercom) to let us know what you would like to dress as, we will be able to procure a costume for you. ~Aubrey heart

The event will last in real time from Friday Oct 28 till the end of actual Halloween, Monday the 31st. Feel free to come and go at your leisure. The letter on the door
Colche looks at the letter, a little confusedly, removing it with delecate fingers she goes inside and puts it down on her dresser. It was coverd in marks, maybe she would ask the next person whom came by to see her. Looking thoughtful she sits on her bed, laying back and contemplating the note, how did that get there? things on this island were magic!
