Ian grinned remember how he had dared Hargun to eat the bug. "That explains why she ate the bug so easily in Truth or Dare." said Ian not remembering if Amaya was there at that point or not. "Grass is probably healthy. But I have always learned in survival manuals that eating bugs is a great way to survive, I don't think grass qualifies." Ian's stomach rumbled again. "Let me go get some more lettuce." He went over, but instead of grabbing lettuce, he grabbed three apples. Arriving back at the table he started chewing on one, eating it with no regards to the core and seeds.

Her days had become rather quiet since the discovery of her new found exploration skills, of course, going between the cafeteria and her duplex, or ehr duplex and the beach was easy enough, she knew the paths well. She smiles softly to herself though ehr eyes remained dark and dreary, she was quite bored, noone had come to visit her for ever, or thats how it felt any way. She slipped silently in to the cafeteria heading straight for the dinner lady whom held out a tray for her. She grinned and giggled, the dinner lady was magic, she always made somethign really nice for her instead of ehr going down the buffet, today it was scampy and chips, peas and a huge slice of doyuble chocolate gataux, that was the best bit but she would save it til last. Smiling to herself she made ehr way to the nearest table and started eating with her fingers, she still hadn't quite got the hang of a knife and fork and why would she? noone had the thought to teach her that little trick yet.

Uneasy, Julian ambled into the cafeteria, grey tail flicking around behind him. He wasn't sure if coming out into public was the best of ideas...but what COULD he do? Locking himself away would only make things worse.

He took a plate from the buffet, peering down the line. The fact was, he was quite hungry...he had been all but starving himself since the night he changed, only eating a few bites of ham or beef here and there.

He loaded his plate with a few different hot pieces of meat - something he DIDN'T have in his room, he realized - and with a nervous little twitch of a smile, looked around for a seat.

It was about then he spotted Colche.

"...Uh...hello, Colche...." His smile broadened as he ambled up...scared to death of how people would react to seeing how he looked.

"Do you mind if I sit here?"

'Oh...well, she's pretty. And such LOVELY table manners.'

Julian winced.

Amaya giggled and pushed herself up, wobbling a little bit on her toes before throwing out the apple core and grabbing a bottle of water. "Yeah, even though it's kinda weird it probably wouldn't hurt you to eat grass if you really couldn't resist it." As she sat down someone else entered, green orbs watching the girl that seemed a little older then her and had already started changing, along with another man. She looked at Ian, silently asking if he knew either of them. Amaya was still too uneasy about her new apperance to approach anyone she didn't know on her own...

Ian looked behind him, hearing people enter. For a brief moment he didn't recognize them, then it hit him. "The man's name is Julian," he said. "The girl I've seen but haven't met. Both of those meetings occurred before they changed. We should go say hi." Ian didn't hold out his hand to Amaya to help her up, he was still a bit self conscious about his weird fingernails. Meandering over to them leisurely, starting to eat his second apple, Ian stopped when he was a few feet away. "Hello Julian." he started unsure of what to say to the girl.

Colche paused for a moment , chewing and swallowing the peice of breaded scampi she had in her mouth. She looks at Julian her big deep blue eyes contemplating him for a moment, her mind flickerd through names and faces and no two came to the one before her, then it hit her, it was julian "Julian!" she smiles softly tilting her head a little "fuzzy man" she giggles her attention fully on him at least for a few moments until ian approached, okay now this was a face she definately didn't know and there was a woman with him too. She bited her tongue, a little nervous to be around so many people, but she held her ground hoping it would be okay, maybe julian would protect her if it wasn't? he'd been nice before.

Julian's smile widened a bit more, and his voice turned a tiny bit less meek. She didn't seem to be so worried...then again, now that he really looked at her...she was going feline, too.

"...Yes, Colche, I'm fuzzy now, too." A tiny laugh...but he jumped as he heard Ian speak.

Slowly he turned around, his now-fanged grin not touching his nervous gaze.

"Ah - Ian! Er...hello...." His voice was small again...he turned his green glance to the other girl, tail flicking a little. She was young, yet...and he did like kids. But still...he couldn't get rid of the huge grin.

"...And...er...hi, there...."

He cringed as the voices began to discuss the people in jumbled-together, hissing tones in his ears...but tried not to say anything about them. He didn't...want to scare anyone.

She frowned, but nodded and stood anyway. Following behind Ian, she peeked out slowly and gave a wave to the girl and Julian. "Hiya." Her voice was still a little quite, the self-consciousness not leaving her mind no matter how much she told herself that no one care what she looked like. They both looked a little nervous and that nervous grin... where had she heard of that before...? Nevertheless, she gave both an actual smile, trying her best to push her nagging thoughts of freakishness into the back of her mind.

Hargun left her duplex yet again without her sketchbook. She headed down to the cafeteria, wearing her now favorite possession (next to mr sketchbook), the orange beanie Amaya had given her. The entire way she couldnt help but squint, and every once in a while shed scratch furiously at her face, neck, and or backside.

As soon as she reached the main eating facility, she paused and tried to peek in to see who all was there before actually going in.

Oh.. good.. there's Ian and Amaya... and.. erm.. some other transformed islanders? she thought, and slowly stalked in.

"Heya Amaya! Hey Ian!" she waved her eerie, lengthy arm in the air, and walked over to pile a plate with food.

"Hi!" Ian waved to Hargun as she entered before turning back to Julian. "They got you too huh?" he said sympathetically, then looked at the girl. "I'm Ian." he said. "What's your name? We saw each other in the cafeteria a couple weeks ago...you were with Emerwyn." Ian was glad none of them had even seemed to care about the horns that were perched on his head, but his arm itched again. Sighing, he rubbd his arm against the edge of the table temporarily relieving the urge to scratch.

Colche watched all the people enter, she was alittle confused by the hubub of noise that they were making but ian asked for her name, okay that was a question she could answer "Colche" she smiles, her voice a quiet whisper of a word. Her eyes rested upon his antlers for a moment and she looked thoughtful "ian fuzzy" She stated this as if it were nothing unusual, though her eyes rested on the antlers and she had the urge to poke them and find out what they were, but she was far too nervous for that and there were so many people around now, she felt lost suddenly, she had never been around so many people at once it was rather frightening. her big blue eyes drifted from one face to another resting calmly on Amaya. She smiled lightly, she was pretty glad there was another female here, she would have felt very uncomfortable with two men, even now she fidgeted slightly but stayed calm and as collected as she could at least, if she felt too afraid she could run, ah running her new past time, how she loved to run since she had discoverd she could.

Julian's own stomach gave a bit of a lurch at the crowd as well - it suddenly seemed so loud in here. Between the voices in his head, and the real voices....

His grin went even wider, and he fidgeted with his fork and knife, claws clicking the metal. He gave a timid look to Amaya, unsure of what to say....

Then heard someone ELSE in the cafeteria. As he looked over at Hargun, the strongest voice gave an unsettling chuckle that made him shudder.

His eyes darted back to Ian. "...Ah...yes...they did...." His turned a bit red, lightly brushing the fur on his right side with two claws. He was quiet as he watched Colche speak with Ian, shaking a tiny bit from all the hubbub.

Amaya turned to look at Hargun, smiling at the sight of the bright orange beanie still on her head. "Hey Hargun." She then turned her attention to the strange girl, who didn't seem to have a very strong grasp on the english language. Was she foreign? ... No, she didn't have an accent. How strange. The young girl could even imagine what she might've gone through and shivered, though not from the cold. "Hi Colche. Hi Julian. My names Amaya." A genuine smiled spread across her features, now feeling a little bit better about herself.

Hargun smiled, and came over, sitting at the table everyone was at with her pile of shrimp and a rather odd looking, amber-colored lollipop on the side.

She nodded to Ian and Colche instead of waving her freakish fingers, and started eating.

She gave a weak look and out of the blue started laughing. "Guys.. I cant believe it, but Im trying these candy coated roaches!" she said, pointing to the sucker. "Oh.. and these chocolate covered ants as well.."

As soon as she looked up from her plate, she stared Amaya in the face and immediately started choking. "OH MY GOD AMAYA." she said, and leaned over the table to look her in the face wildly just as she did Greer. "No... no way man.. no.."

She sat back and swallowed what little food was left in her mouth. "Dude.. what.. what in the WORLD are you turning into??!" she gasped then turned to Ian, just noticing his features too. "AND YOU?!"

Ian smiled at Colche, charmed by her apparent innocence. "Yes I'm fuzzy. Do you want to pet?" Ian proferred his arm giving her the opportunity to pet it before turning to Hargun. "Yeah, I've changed to....I think I'm becoming some sort of cervid or bovid. Both have hooves, and horns of sorts." He grimaced, bringing his hand to a horn as if making sure he hadn't imagined it. "Bugs huh?" he grinned. "I wouldn't ahve dared you to eat a bug that night if I'd known you liked them so much." He was teasing her, trying to make everyone in a better mood. He wanted the people to stop moping so much.
