monkeybeth the almost clear color of your fish is because it is a girl, female Bettas have a lighter color then the well known colorful males do ,that is how you can tell the difference between male and female he is male you can tell! males have long fins and females have the shorter fins lol xd

Omg. I had a goldfish for 4 years, it broke my heart when he died. I understand your fish loving.
He could weave through poles and go over jumps, and I talked to him when I had problems.
When he was dying he struggled to hold on for days, then one day his water was gloomy and he was on the bottom...dead. D: It really made me sad, and I made a grave for him near some roses in my front yard, with his first fish building on top as a marker, and I put colored glass pebbles all around it. :3

Smoothie De Bootie Omg. I had a goldfish for 4 years, it broke my heart when he died. I understand your fish loving. He could weave through poles and go over jumps, and I talked to him when I had problems. I can honestly say I don't know that much about fishes... but I would say he's the prettiest lill guy I've ever seen!!! 3nodding thanks! he has a lot of personality as well sometimes ill be walking by and he will flare at me its so cute cause I could swallow him whole but he thinks he is big lol and he knows I wont hurt him... aw you are making me miss my old betta. He used to curl around my finger as if he were trying to mate with it. He would swim around and flair to show off but he was such a mama's boy. He would actually take the food off of my finger. One of my females bit me once, it felt like a tiny suction cup *eeep*

The Dooking Ferret I have one just like that lol They're pretty nice but not rare. His name is Arisugawa ^_^ yea,I have never seen one too much the same,I mean you see blue and red ones alot but he is only like the 2nd pure pink one I have ever seen if not the only so I was wondering lol

I had one named "Zeus" because I felt bad that he was male and pink so I had to give him a masculine name. xD I love the name Monty. It's my bfs nickname though, so I can't use it for any of my pets. >.< lol i just came up with that name,no long hours in the night thinking just right off the top of my head...lolx I love the lighter ones...

I work in a pet store, and have worked in two pet stores over the past 3 years. I have only ever seen one all white Betta, and I bought him, his name is Shiro-San smile He is a crowntail and very very pretty, I need to get some pictures of him. He lives in my 10 gallon with my danios and gourami and catfish.
Monty was the second one I have ever seen, I will have to tell Shiro-San he is not the only one in the world smile
I have another one who is purple with red and his name is Mr. Purple, he lives on my desk and we have nice long conversations and if i ever stop paying attention to him, he waves his fins at me.
I love how Bettas have so much personality. smile

monkeybeth the almost clear color of your fish is because it is a girl, female Bettas have a lighter color then the well known colorful males do ,that is how you can tell the difference between male and female no, thats a male. and females can be just as dark as the males. ive had a black and green female before. sadly she drowned. yes, my fish drowned. she got stuck under one of her hides and coudnt get up or air but your guy is so pretty. i love white bettas. one of mine was all white with some purple until i decided to feed him some crab treats. now he has a nice large ris colored stripe that akes it look like he is bleeding all the time XD im so lucky, my walmart doesnt sell animals anymore ^.^ but i get all my fish from petco. their cups may be wide but the fish are either always dead or just have an inch depth of water

he isnt white,he is pink,I have seen one that was white and had like purple and pink and blue spots he was so pretty.....but yea,Monty is pink and purple....purtyful fishies by the way smile
