Shaking his head violently to get rid of the shell shock Gelu realized where the giant creature was heading. 'The City!' Gelu saw that the creature was slower than he was and knew that beating him to the city to set up a defence would be easy. 'No time, we need at least twice this long to protect the people.' Using his ground vanishing technique Gelu ran underneath the monster before using his much faster flight speed to fly above the beast and latch on to it, digging his claws in between the monsters wing joints. "This is going to hurt." Exhaling deeply Gelu blew a mist over the base of the creatures wings, encasing the skin and joints in solid ice and making it imposable to fly. 'Have to stop him here.'

((Keep in mind, you're only third class, meaning your ice attacks in all likelihood would hardly do any damage, let alone completely freeze the demon's wings. Also declaring that your attack automatically freezes something is autoing, a form of godmodding. I'll let it slide, but try not to have it happen anymore. R31gn of Ph3r had a problem with godmodding, too, and yes, I do know him.))
The dark creature turns its glare towards the peon that dares to oppose him. Growling in annoyance, the creature performs a midair barrel roll to shake the insect off, but to its dismay, the insect fires forth a bone chilling blast of wind, and surprisingly the blast encased its wings in solid ice. Without any means to stay afloat, the demon heads down towards the rocky ground hard and fast.
Thanks to its demoniacally enhanced reflexes, it makes its terrifying landing upon both its feet, which in turn, releases another pulsating shockwave throughout the area. If this type of thing were to happen any more, the possibility of an avalanche would be more than eminent.
After getting its bearings straight, the demon, using its brutish strength breaks through the solidified encasement of ice by simply outstretching its wings at full length. The giant shards of ice break away and make their way to the ground in a rough manner.
Thereafter, the demon turns its sights to the cretin that cut its flight short.

(GYAH!! ... bare with me... First fight with Gelu so I don't really know his power yet. And I think Everybody knows R31gn)
(And the joint freezing is easy since the body is 80 percent water. I didn't say you wouldn't be ably to break out of it.)
Thanks to the rough ride and the fear of getting crushed under the creature Gelu had to relinquish his grip moments before the creature landed on the ground. 'That was way to quick... this isn't going to be good.'
Reaching behind his back Gelu unhooked his battle gauntlet and held it firmly in his left hand. 'It has the body of a human, so I should have the same weak points.' With this knowledge Gelu used his ground vanishing technique in an attempt to close the distance between the two and get inside the monsters defence before driving his battle gauntlet in to the armpit of the creature.
(Body's weak points, head, groin, kidneys, under arms. There are more, but these are the main ones used in battle.)

((I'm bearing, which is why I'm reminding your of your current level and telling you not to godmod.))
The demon watches as the dragon speeds its way towards him. Showing no signs of remorse or sympathy, the creature takes to the skies. As it peers down on all that below, its eyes flash a bright crimson. Flames erupt within the demon's mouth. The immense inferno bowls out like lava and with a strong upchucking bellow, the conflagration surges forth like an over powering stream of water. Falling towards all that which lies below.

Gelu, seeing the torrent of Lava like substance heading towards him, took to the sky himself using the speed from his ground vanishing technique to slingshot him in to the air to escape the attack.
"I will not let you get to the city!" Those were his last words before he began pumping his blue wings furiously in an attempt to gain the height advantage. The first rule to air combat was to have a higher altitude than your opponent and Gelu was hoping that his fast flight speed coupled with the large size of his opponent would give him enough of an edge to gain some sort of advantage.

The heated embers crash into the rocky grounds of snow. The intense heat blazes through the hills for quite a while, melting the frozen rock until there's nothing left. This terrible alteration to the natural order of the lands brings forth a catastrophic disaster, an avalanche.
Waves of snow pour down the rocky hills, engulfing the blazened area in a white mist. The snow dust that kicks up as a result makes it almost impossible to see through, and when it finally fades, the large beast is no where to be found.

Blinded by the snow Gelu could not see where the beast was headed but he knew. "The City. Have to get to the city." Using every ounce of speed he had Gelu took off up the mountain towards the city hoping against hope to beat the monster there. 'Idiot! You should have seen that coming. If the City falls, it is your fault.'

Pulling his cloak tighter about his shoulders, Hywen blew out a deep breath and glanced up the mountain side. The Holy City glistened in the scattered sunshine. "Almost there," Hywen said to himself as he wiped the sweat from his brow. He had been traveling for days in search of the city, and Hywen thought he would never find it. A small trail was now visible as it wound its way up the mountain, and with another deep breath Hywen started up the path, the city always reflected in his eyes.

((I guess I could throw in a demon appearance here.))
The ever so bright sky, filled with life, light, and vitality slowly becomes ruptured by dimly grey clouds, and within the moments to follow, the dark clouds cry out with the sound of thunder as a flash of lightning flashes forth. And then comes the rain, turning this magnificent day into one of dark and dreary energy. With the next clasp of thunder, a downpour of rain sets forth from the heavens. Flash thunder storms are pretty rare upon the mountains, but they still have the possibility of happening at a moment's notice, otherwise the storm would lose the whole "flash" thing.
However, this storm is not of a natural order, in fact, the conjuring of the winds and rain is thanks to the appearance of a demon, and not just one. You see, demons for some reason like have a flashy entrance whenever they appear. Ostentatious with their power, they like to display their authority over the realm.
Darkness spreads through the hilltops like an epidemic plague, bringing havoc to the mountains as avalanches form out of what appears to be nothing, all giving way to the emergence of these dark creatures. Arising from the shadows, the day now black enough to be deemed worthy by their presence, a horde of dark creatures make their appearance. Lately, these dark creatures have been showing up more and more, and seemingly have been acting with a sense of order, purpose. This purpose remains unknown to all but their brethren of the dark depths.

Barely visible at the foot of the mountain, two horses carrying odd characters stop. "Alright kid, ready for the fun part?" the woman on the black horse turns, facing her companion. Upon closer inspection, one can tell that this is none other than the Dawn Captain. Had not the long, snowy white hair and the strange sword hilt given her away, certainly the air of power surrounding the woman would have given her away. In truth, the Captain Fornicatus looked no older than a woman in her twenties, but that was one of the advantages of a Devione. Though of course, this little fact was known to a bare few, a few more believing her to be an angel. Which, actually, wasn't too far off. "You did say you know how to climb a mountain, right?" she asks, dark blue eyes locked onto the man on the horse pulled up alongside her own.

"Uhmmm, yes ma'am." Hakuma answered. He was still a little beaten up from the riding, seeing how he just started to understand how to ride a horse, but now he has come across another task he needs to get done. "So now were going to climb?" Hakuma asked her, if it wasn't obvious enough.

"Well unless you can randomly sprout wings, you're going to climb." she replied, not having seen any sign of even a wing on the boy. The captain herself would climb with him until they reached about halfway, at which she would leave him to find the Holy City, before returning to guide him there. "It's waaaaaay up there." she points towards the top of the mountain, nodding in confirmation. "Ready?"

Hakuma nodded as he was relieved that he could finally get off of the horse. He quickly restrung his katana tightly to his waist so it wouldn't fall off and began to climb. Hakuma's pace was quick, making sure he made no mistake when he moved one limb to another stone. As strenuous as it would be to a regular human being, Hakuma did things this strenuous for living so climbing was a cakewalk or him.

Nodding, the captain is rather impressed at the speed at which the boy climbs. It makes her wonder if she'd be able to keep up.... but now that she sees he's having no trouble on his own, she decides to take the easy way. Crouching slightly, she leaps into the air, and just before beginning her decent, her wings snap open. As I've described before, the tops of the wings are snow white, beginning to gray slowly as they reach the larger, steering feathers at the end, which are pure black. Her life story is laced into the feathers of the angelic wings, having caused the discoloration in the feathers. Soaring high, she swoops back down to circle slowly around where Hakuma continues to climb. The first ledge is about 60 feet up, and Fornicatus slowly begins to count away the seconds for her own amusement.

"She can.....f-fly?!" Hakuma asked startled by this discovery. He didn't know anybody who could do such a thing, so Hakuma seemed more surprised that any normal person would. Hakuma hastened his climbing pace trying to keep up with the Dawn Leader's flying.
