She huffed once and nodded. "Happens all the time." She was grinning like a fool. "Did I win?" She watched him fluttering above her, admiring his wings a little. She really wanted to fly now. But more then that, she'd be sad if she lost. She wasn't special. All she had was her running. She'd done it all her life, and would die doing it she assumed.

With a sly smile, he nodded, "You did." Naomhan wouldn't tell her that she'd only won by a few steps, but that wasn't what she was asking, so he was good. That silly grin still on his face, he fluttered back down to the ground, landing dangerously close to her. He held out a paw to help her up. "So," he began, looking right into her eyes, "when do you want that flight?"

She accepted the help up. "Now! Now if... if that's ok." She didn't want to seem to eager. "Cause if it's not convenient..." She shuffled her paw in the dirt a little in embarrassment. "Cause, you know... you might be tired from the run and all."

Naom chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Oh no, I'd never deprive a lady of something she wanted very much." He smiled, turning his back to her and stretching his wings out on either side of him. "Climb on and tell me where you'd like to go," he almost purred, his tails swaying and twitching behind him.

Climb on? Was he serious? "Oh... ok..." She was a little timid but climbed onto his back, mindful of his wings. "I... I don't know where we'd go. Where do you like to go?" She moved a little and draped her paws over his shoulders and held on. "This is safe, right?"

Naomhan chuckled softly, jumping into the air and spreading his wings to the air catch them. "It's safer on my back than it would be anywhere else," he said, fluttering his wings and angling himself eastward. His wings were strong enough to hold them both in the air, and he was headed for a lake a few mile off. Lucky for him, the air current was going his way. He smiled, opening his wings to their full span, letting the current guide them.

"Please don't drop me." She tried not to move too much as she looked around. She held on for dear life, not quite tight enough to strangle Naom. "Whoa..." She awed. "This... this is amazing!" She hadn't been flying before, but she sort of like it. The wind in her face was like flying, only there were a few less bugs. "Naom! You do this all the time?"

"Drop you?" Naom repeated, laughing heartily, "My dear Ning, you insult me." His ears pricked up as she spoke again, his hearing centering on her voice so as not to lose it in the wind. "All the time? No. Most of the time? Yes," he chuckled again, an idea springing forth in his mind. "Ning," he began, smiling devilishly, "I suggest you hold on tight."
Without another word of warning, he angled his body downward, going into a spinning nose dive as he closed his wings. Their fall gained speed. They were going faster, faster, faster still towards the ground. At the last second, he opened his wings again, the rush of air catching under his feathers as he climbed back into the sky. His voice carried over the surging wind as he laughed.

Ning practically screeched in fear, clinging to him tightly. Her fur standing up once more, this time in fright. She hissed slightly, trying to remember to breath. Her muscles wouldn't listen to her, and she couldn't relax them for some time, so she spoke through her teeth. "Are... you trying... to scare me out of my tails?" her words were drawn out, and perhaps a little angry, though she wasn't angered, but scared. Though it was nice to be able to cling to someone when she was frightened.

Naom chuckled softly, letting the wind carry him wherever it wished. "I gave you fair warning, Ning," he said, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous light. He heard the fear in her voice, along with the undertone of anger. She'd wanted to fly, so he'd given her all the joys of flight, including being scared witless. "Though," he began, "I must admit, I don't want you to lose those pretty little tails." He smiled at her over his shoulder, his tails fanning out behind him in the wind.

She beamed a little. Her tails? Pretty? "Why thank you..." It was a lame reply, but it was the best she could think of. No one had complimented her before. She lifted her head a little. "I'm not choking you am I?" Her heart was still racing, and her fur still a little raised- she'd have to fix that later- but she was having the time of her life now! "Naom? Will you take me flying again some time too?"

"Of course," Naom replied, rather happy that she'd asked to go flying with him again, "all you have to do is ask. And in regards to your other question, no, you're not choking me." She was happy, that was more than he could have hoped for. It gave him this strange tightening sensation in his chest when she smiled like that. She was rather pretty, despite how goofy she acted. But, he believed that just made him all the more fond of her. She wasn't like the others he'd known; she was different, more fun to be around.

"Can we go higher? I want to touch the clouds~" She said wistfully. Her legs were twitching though, and she knew she had to run again, but she didn't want the flight to end. Not just yet at least. "Unless... unless you're too tired that is." She slowly put her head down on top of his before jerking up again and coughing. "I think I swallowed a bee!"

"Higher it is, then," Naom grinned, angling them upwards. He flapped his wings, giving them an extra burst of speed. They climbed higher and higher, the puffy white clouds coming closer and closer. At her next comments he simply laughed and shook his head. Him? Tired? Ha! He never got tired of flying. The bee thing, though, had regrettably happened to him when he was just learning. He found that the trick of that was to only open one's mouth the bare minimum. And that, he thought, was sometimes very hard to do.

The air was thinner up here, and Ning felt it a little harder to breath. Her grip on Naom's shoulders loosened as she coughed up the bee, watching the wet thing fall to earth as they climbed higher. She was getting light headed and giddy. She reached a paw upwards, nearly slipping off Naom's back, then giggled.
