i hope the remodle goes well and that everything can get back to normal for you soon biyanka
i just remembered yesterday that i do have a name sake, not my first name but my middle name and i can't believe i forgot about it considering this whole year in my history and lit classes i have been studying her. my middle name is Victoria, after queen Victoria. i took a victorian culture and society class and an early victorian lit class and the only reason i remember that she is my name sake is because yesterday was Victoria day here in canada. i am so lame.

I've got two name sakes. My name is Julie Marie, and I was named after Julie Andrews, and then my mom's cousin Estella Marie, who went by Rie. She was killed in a car wreck, and my mother was sure to make sure that my name would have Marie in it no matter what. Most of my family calls me Julie Rie.

Oh my god i love your room!!!!!! i want it!!!!! it is seriously the coolest room i have ever seen!
i love your name sakes Julie. they are so cute and heartfelt. i wish mine were that special. my full name is Rachelle Victoria Cecilia and there is really not much meaning behind it. Rachelle was chosen because my mom fell in love with the name, its not Rachel and its not Stella (which my father wanted) so no one says it right and it drives me crazy. Victoria was a queen and it is also my grandmothers middle name. and Cecilia is the patron saint of music as well as my other grand mothers name. (grandma Cecilia died when my mom was nine so we never knew her)

I'm totally going to take some ideas from you when I remodel my room! I LOVE it.
I think your name sounds super cute. When I have more kids, I already have special names for them. biggrin

I'm glad you like the blue room. It's super special to me, because it was my brother's room. My mom and dad were going to use it for a storage room a year or so after he died, but I threw a fit an decided to make it mine. I added the rug, the bed, and the chair to "girlify" it, but couldn't bear to paint over the blue walls. My brother did that himself with a friend, so the blue walls stay.

i am glad you made them keep the blue walls. i think i would have felt the same way as you did. i wouldn't be able to let them change my brothers room if something happened to him.

I have lots of siblings, and one I don't get alone with at all, but if something happened to him, i would be completely lost.

It's not easy. A lot of times I have issues with God wondering why of all the big brothers in the world, he took my brother. sad Other days I do okay.
I'm glad my parents didn't make it into a storage room. It would have been like putting Hunter's memory into storage.
