MM The word Beloved appered on his skin when Soubi forged his Bond with Seimei. Seimei on the other hand, carved the barbbed wire around his neck as a show if loyalty. It was a test to see if Soubi really would follow any order Seimei gave him. It was also a 'collar' Soubi could not remove-since He was in trust.. Seimei's 'Dog' and was a proof of ownership between Seimei and Soubi.

Actualy that is half incorrect!
As of the Zero-sum,it is revealed Seimei made the entire mark as Soubi is a blank and has no mark. Seimei carved the necklace-like mark into Soubi's neck with a knife. Soubi was 18. Seimei barely 15.
He can also be paired with ANY sacrifice regardless of his mark.
Seimei also marked Soubi again in secret with a hot iron on his chest.
So he has two marks as Beloved.
Whenever Soubi disobeys his fighter name,his name bleeds as Beloved.
He also fights half strenghth. Even with Ritsuka.
