Starpelt laid down and tucked her paws under herself. To feel like a warrior again... It was almost a sensation but she chose her path. She wasn't very hungry but she took a bite out of the vole anyway. How long ago was it? When had she decided her new fate? And most importantly when had she fallen for him? She knew she had gotten wiser training as a medicine cat but so many questions would have to remain unsolved for the meantime.
As Starpelt thought of the past her thoughts drifted onto Koislpash. Why? Then she understood it more and a vison formed. She saw Heartpool's eyes glisten in joy everytime she had a glimpse at him. And today, today she looked longingly over the RiverClan border. They didn't need those herbs. She had just wanted to see him. No, Heartpool's loyal! She argued with the vision but it couldn't stop her from asking, "You're in love with Koisplash aren't you?"

For having her deepest secret told out loud she remained calm. "No..." She offered a smile. "I dont know what you are implying and i wont look into it." She twitched her tail. "Im not in love... I couldnt tell you i was even if it bit me..."
She frowned sadly. "You need to do me a favor..." She turned lightly. "I honestly dont know how you came to your conclusion but i need you to not tell anyone." She sat. "You need to keep my secret ifn i tell it to you... for you will be the only one to know..." Her purple eyes glinted fire. "I never once... even though about being disloyal to my clan...and i am here arent i ... a shadowclan medicine cat..."
SHe flicked her ears. "Yes...I hold deep feelings for koisplash... I know... there can never be an us... i know... that and sadly... I am dreading it..." She frowned "I have no clue how you came to that conclusion...I have hidden it for a long time... But... LArkSparrow...and the leaders can never know... Im loyal as can be..." HEr eyes flashed. I have enough trouble from my kittypet roots... I dont need it getting around that i am disloyal...
Her fur was slightly rising... "I may honestly... If She finds out...leave... I am not planing on it... but i know that i could simply not runn back to my twolegs... its not my life...." Her eeyes pleaded now. "I cant...Have anyone find out..." She stood. "Now with that... you hold the power to get me kicked down out of my position...."
She raised her head. "But i dont see our relationship going anywhere... so... there is no reason to alert the clan." She nodded. "Now back to herb hunting." She shivered. She did love the tom and there was definitly a problem. She inwardly groaned. Hopefully StarPelt would be more of a friend to her then a loyal apprentice to larksparrow... "And By the way... you really arent half bad as a warrior... if you love someone... you could just as easily step back down." She smile sadly. "You can tell i wouldnt make a good warrior..." She smiled. "But that aside... Maybe you could show me a few hunting moves."

Starpelt took this all in without much shock. Her vision made her feel years wiser. She would never become so low to do that to Heartpool. "Hunting moves..." She murmured quietly. There wasn't much to show. "When you hunt mice you stalk them as quietly as you can like this." She demonstrated by placing her paws silently over the terrain and taking small steps before pouncing of some stray grass.

HeartPool Smiled. THankfully starpelt seemed a wise young cat. She would do very well as a medicine cat. She smiled and copied slowly. "Ok..." She twitched her tail and pounced on the tuff of grace. She looked up and smiled. "My first kill...a blade of grass... i will be the best hunter. " She smiled at the sarcasim.

"That was good." Starpelt nodded, "But you had a little too much weight on you frontpaws. You need to focus the weight on you hind-legs." Starpelt felt like having her own apprentice, teaching hunting moves and correcting mistakes.

She twitched her tail lightly. "I feel like a mouse brain..." She shook her head and tried again putting the weight evenly acroos her paws. She stalked forward and pounced. Ending in afit of unlikely giggles. "Yeah..im a lost cause... but thatnks for the ideas..." She smiled sitting up. She twitched her tail and licked a fore paw in amusement.

HeartPool Twitched her whiskers. "Thank you StarPelt..." SHe picked up the herbs. "Lets get back..." She nodded and walked a little ways... "Thankfully... You are alot like your mentor in abilities..but nothing like her in personality... " She shook her head. "In hope we can be friends StarPelt... If you ever need me all you have to do is call"

Starpelt nodded and picked up her herbs. She and her mentor were not alike at all. They had different thoughts on almost everything. How did they get along so well though? On they padded towards the camp.
