It's safe to assume that castration is an option here, so any tools that may be useful?
I'm evil, I know, but I'm pretty sure he'd never be able to do it again. 18 months. He could have killed her. He did cause the death of his child. What sort of stupid, inhuman jerk buys pills off the internet to slip to his girlfriend of 8 years with the intention of killing the child she wants to keep? Idiot. Heartless, selfish idiot.

Oh my God. I can't believe someone would do that. The impurity of the human soul! (cries)

lymelady He got them off the internet, apparently. And yeah, it is really dangerous. He could have killed her. I really don't think 18 months is enough time, quite frankly. I agree 18 months is not long enough.

That's so sad! What a horrible thing to do to the person you "love"!

.... Just my thoughts on this..... Why not just have the baby, and if you're not ready for parenthood, put it up for adoption? I mean, it's kind of a coward's way out, but the kid has a chance at least, and you're not reponsible for your baby's death.

Er. I wouldn't call it the coward's way out. It takes a lot of strength to give up your child.
But Pro-Choicers would say, "It's not a baby!" and ignore you. Or say that there are too many kids in the adoption system already, something about quality of life...

I like how the toughness of giving up a child is an issue to some choicers, but killing the very same child/nonchild/convenientsemanticterm isn't an issue.

divineseraph I like how the toughness of giving up a child is an issue to some choicers, but killing the very same child/nonchild/convenientsemanticterm isn't an issue. Heck they think money issues is a justified reason to kill their child, or even "I don't want to look fat". Though it may be tough to give up, I would think abortion would be awhole lot tougher. At least with open adoption you can have pictures and stuff sent to you.

That argument is a terrible failure in which the fetus is both worthless AND a child too precious to give up.
