yeah i was thinking sbout that the other day and pretty much my brain died from the constant possibilitest about what would happen. Personally i would of taken the deal of the whole getting her desires cuz first of all i'd be at the goblin city and then next to that i wouldn't have to worries of the parents worring about toby ad sweatdrop
but the thing that really confuses me id the whole "obey me, love me and i'll be your slave" dosen't make since to me all that much. i mean how can one be your slave if you the one obeying him. question

Isn't the way he said it much prettier than "Sign here, and you will have all your childish dreams at your fingertips, yet only on the condition that you will be my faithful and obedient queen"?

Well that dose make since and it is a good point, but you would think that they would come up with something better. O well its pretty catchy though! 3nodding

We have to remember, Sarah was only 15. She was way too young to have accepted his offer, or to even understand WHAT he was offering. I read a rather funny fanfiction where she accepted his offer, and took it litterally. She would make him conjure pizza in thin air just to appease her. Eventually, when she was older she fell in love with him. It was really funny.

It is rather romantic, wouldn't you agree? Personally, Disney doesn't have anything on the magnificence that is Jareth.
When I read the first few posts before this one, my brain shut off and explored the possibilities of the "What if..."'s. I get a kick out of putting myself in Sarah's place and wondering, again, what if I did this, or that.
Though... I wonder what Jareth would have had Sarah do if she had accepted his offer.

I remember the days when i was a squeaky Jareth fangirl (i'm still a hardcore fan of Labyrinth, i just do not drool over Jareth anymore lol) and i was always saying "Man if i were Sarah, i would stay with Jareth in the end and still save toby!" But then once i really got to think about it, and took all of the things happening into account, i realized i probably would not have wanted to be with Jareth in the end, if i were sarah
for one thing, someone who let on that they wanted to change my younger sibling (and i do have a lil sis so i know what i mean) into a goblin is a turn off. then he goes and puts me through all those dangerous and unsettling situations ....he's a LOT older than me..... and he's all demanding and domineering which, being a feminist-equalist, that's a HUGE NO.
so as a fictional character and his value as an asset to the plot, jareth is AWESOME. one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. but as a romantic companion. *buzzer noise* no
lol
and please understand that i mean no disrespect to anyone with my views. if you would stay with him, had you been Sarah, then that's cool. not my personal choice though
