Fireheart swatted at the fish as it flew towards him and sent it sailing through the air off to the left of him. Turning he ran over and prodded at it's mouth with his paw. "Owww it bit me!" he yowled, putting on as convincing of an act as he could he swatted it back towards her and limped over, holding his "injured" paw off the ground the whole way.

"Oh really." Fernpelt mewed thoughtfully with a hint of mischeif in her eyes she slowly walked to the fish and put her paw at its mouth. "Oww! It bit me!" She yowled in fake pain and fell over on the ground writhering in fake pain.

Fireheart mrrowed with laughter as she played along with him. "Well then! I'll just have to teach that fish a thing or two about messing with a warrior!" he yowled before pouncing on the fish, claws out and biting hard into it which finally stopped it's pitiful flopping. He carried it back over to Fernpelt and set it down. "I believe this is yours." he purred.

Fernpelt looked over at him and purred. He was a weird cat but really too. She cut the fish in half her thoughts told her not to feed an enemy clan cat but she thought it couldn't do much harm. "Here try it." She mewed, as she edged the half of the fish towards him.

Fireheart stared at her in disbelief. Did she not yet know the warrior code? You can't feed cats from other clans! But then again, he'd done it on numerous occassions. He took a few bites out of the fish and made a face. "I guess it's nice if you get used to it but... I prefer squirrel and mouse."

"You're weird." Fernpelt purred and playfully swatted his head. She looked over her pelt and realized it was all ruffled because of her play. She licked it down to smooth it.

Fireheart's eyes widened in surprise when she called him weird. That was a major blow to his little ego. "I'm not the weird one here. You're the one who willingly jumps into water and eats slimey fish." He stated before turning away and padding off. Hmph... if she thinks I'm weird why bother? he thought while he walked away.

"I was only joking." Fernpelt mewed after him. She did not want this friendship to end. It felt special to her. ThunderClan has no sense of humor. She thought to herself.

Fireheart turned to stare at the shecat for a moment. What was with her? One minute she's telling him he's weird and the next she's trying to get him to stay? She-cats... mental cases... the whole lot of them. he thought as he turned to face her. "Is that your way of saying "please don't leave"?" he meowed.

"Yeah." Fernpelt answered hopeing he'd stay. Toms so un-knowing. She looked at him straight in the eyes as she said those words.

Fireheart sighed and would've rolled his eyes if she wouldn't have been staring at him. "Well I guess I'll stay then but only because you're a lady and it's rude to ignore a lady's request." he purred as he walked back to her side. "Now... why exactly didn't you want me to leave?"

(Thank Josh Turner for this post... Firecracker came on when I was typin this XDD)
Fireheart stared at her and felt something rush through him when she spoke. It felt like something exploding inside him, though not a bad explosion, one of excitement, passion perhaps? Suddenly he felt very playful. Lets see just how much she enjoys my company... he thought to himself before crouching down, his tail swishing back and forth before he pounced at her and began tusseling with her.

Fernpelt was surprissed by his reaction she nibbled at his tail lightly and swatted her paws. She pounced away and got ready to pounce on him.

Fireheart yowled in surprise when she bit his tail and he quickly flicked it out of her reach, bouncing backward, away from her and then pounced towards her again, swishing his tail as if beckoning her to come forward.
