Bri, art is a ever-changing peice of opinion.
No, I was not going to say crap.
Well anyways! It doesn't really matter what other people think of your art, it should be what you think of the journey in which you've created the peice. They say that art is the process, not the finish product.
Don't you have more fun drawing, painting, or creating then looking at the finish product? Art can be anything in the modern times, from chalk drawing on the streets, to the oil paintings of Da Vinci. Whether it be good or not, really depends on the person. I find the Mona Lisa rather unattractive and I have no clue why it has so much fame. She has no eye-brows by the way.
I arrange the remains of my lunch, no matter how disgusting the end product may be, I have fun doing it! Even when the toughest girl I've ever known told me to stop, I still continued. Of course I threw away the plate of a mess, which could look aethetically nice to some, it was the process that was the real fun.
So don't beat yourself when you're loosing a popularity contest, it doesn't really matter. Plus, even if you don't like it or you're not satisfied, you can always change it to fit you needs. And if that's not in your capabilities, restart. If you don't like your style of artwork, try again or learn another way. If you want to 'get better', learn some tips and tricks from people that can help. I can say to you that I like your coloring very much. Probaly the only thing I have to say about the drawing itself, is that the girl's neck is rather long.
If you've just read all this, I should congratulate you. And so I will.

Avatar contest one was actually over 4 days ago.... Captains and Vice Captains should be reminded the 3 day that the contest betting is over.
The winner should be paid ASAP, plus charmed352 needs to get her money back for her bet in the avi contest before the switch.
