Wow, I could never make a resolution like that. If I did, it would be like resolving to read all the books in the library.
I own more books than anyone else I know. I like to go to used book sales and get lots of books for really cheap. I also belong to a book trading website where I get a lot of books.

I don't understand how anyone can. Seriously -- why would I sit down in front of the computer to read a whole book? You can't carry your book around with you to read elsewhere... it just doesn't make sense to me.

And what's the point of reading something that takes electricity and/or battery power when you could read a book, which is more portable and doesn't waste electricity?

I honestly have too many books to fit on my bookshelves as it is gonk
I'm not much of a buyer when it comes to books though, I usually borrow from the library, read once, and return.
There are exceptions though, like books I'll read over and over, like The Woman's Book of Yoga & Health my husband got me, books with Brian Froud's artwork in them, books on rocks and crystals, and the Harry Potter series (hardcover, of course).
I'm currently addicted to the Amelia Peabody series, by Elizabeth Peters. I need to buy hardcovers of the them, simply borrowing them from the library isn't going to cut it, I'll read these over and over. heart
