Red = Azoc and TillOlive = DamarisOrange = AutumnQuote: Azoc was currently walking down to the small restaurant that wasn't really crowded, glancing up to Tiil'xhin's sour expression and ducking her head low. It was obvious that he didn't like her much, and the feeling was mutual... but at the moment, he was all she had. She hadn't seen Lian around for a long time, nor anyone else for that matter, cramped in his little roomy workspace and left to do her own thing. He didn't mind whatever she did - as long as she didn't get into trouble.
But he had suddenly called for this little outing, seeming rather unhappy, and it was uncharacteristic of him... unless something happened that made him change his mind drastically.
She was about to find out what that was.Damaris was sitting at a booth in the restaraunt bouncing around anxiously. Autumn had told her that she was going to meet a new friend today but he wouldn't tell her who. She had already colored in half of the coloring sheet on the kids menu that the resturaunts waiter provided for her.Autumn was sitting in the booth across from Damaris one arm draped over the back of the seat as he looked rather bored. He had gotten such a strange call from one of the other parents. The call left him with the feeling that he had done something earlier to piss the man off.
He watched Damaris look around anxiously and he couldn't help but grin a little at her anticipation.Throwing the doors open, Tiil walked into the restaurant and glanced around, eyes narrowing as they fell on the skink child. Making a show of rolling his eyes, the man sat down and ushered Azoc to do the same, folding his arms and staring at the other guy with slight disdain.
Azoc shifted in to wave at the other, lowering her head slightly as she sighed. This wouldn't be a fun time.Autumn slowly raised one of his eyebrows at the other mans silence and peircing glare. ". . .Yeah well, nice to finally meet you too! I'm Autumn and this is Damaris, but I'm sure you already knew that cause you asked." He said sarcastically already starting to get on edge.Damaris seemed to not notice the tension between the two men as she happily waved back to Azoc. "Hiya! I'm Damaris, it's nice to meet you. Daddy told me I was meeting some one new today, but he kept it a big secret." She said with a giggle, "It's nice to meet you!""I'm Azoc." The lobster girl said quietly, looking away from Tiil's intense stare. Tiil shifted again, pulling up the menu and staring at it. He finally ordered when the waitress came up and got a glass of water, taking his time in drinking it.Autumn grumbled a bit and looked at the menu himself. He ended up ordering some soda for the girls since it looked like Tiil had no intensions of ordering for Azoc. "Hey Azoc, what do you want?" Autumn asked the girl after he ordered some fettucine alfredo and Damaris ordered a kids size pizza."I... don't know." Azoc murmured, having never been out before. She stole another glance at Till and sulked a bit when he glared at her, then looked out the window. He wasn't here by choice."What's the matter with you?" Autumn snapped noticing the glare he gave his daughter. "You shouldn't treat children that way!" He barked at him not having much patience."She's not my daughter." Tiil murmured, giving the other man a short glare back, fingers gripping the glass he held very tightly.Autumn reached over and gave the man a sharp whack on the head with his menu, "Get the stick outa your a** and wake up and smell the coffe, a**!" He said before realizing he slipped with his mouth.
"Just one second please." He told the waitress as he looked over to Azoc again, "Just look over the menu there, and choose something you think looks good." He explainedTiil jerked, raising his hand as glass shards broke, his hand jerking and a rather vicious spell flying past Autumn's face. He had missed, only for the simple fact that Azoc had grabbed his sleeve and forced his arm upwards, her gaze hard.
"Kanth... wouldn't be happy." She murmured softly, earning a glare to which Tiil softened, leaning back in his seat. She was right, of course... if word got out to Kanth, he'd be far worse off than he was. He finally nodded to her and went back to staring out the window.
"Order what you like." Azoc lifted a menu and glanced over it, shaking her head at Autumn. Best to leave the magus alone.Autumn was a little too pig headed to just let things at that, "Wow, well if I haven't seen courage before I did now, a spell against a big mean old menu, you hero you." Autumn said with a gruff huff as he leaned back in the booth and looked quite irritated.Damaris just ignored Autumn and Tiil, for some reason she seemed far to comfortable in this sort of situation. "So, whatcha gonna get Azoc?" She asked trying to make the other little girl talk."I dunno. I think this looks good." Setting the menu down, Azoc pointed out a word on the menu, glancing at Damaris with some kind of hope. "Oh, I'm Azoc." She smiled, offering her name with ease.Damaris smiled at the girl, "I'm Damaris. Oh wait, I think I already said that though, oh well." She said with a little giggle then looked down to what Azoc was pointing at, "Oh! That is good, I've had it before!" She exclaimed."What is it?" Azoc asked, staring at the other with wide eyes."It's like noodles but with cheese on it! Mac'n'Cheese, it has a funny name but it tastes really good." She explained.Tilting her head, Azoc blinked at the girl. "Sounds... strange." She'd had fish before, and slightly more crunchy things, but this was just... different. She didn't dare look at Tiil, however, instead glancing over towards Autumn.Autumn seemed to catch the girls look out of the corner of his eyes. He then settled himself down a bit and turned to her, "It is pretty good, is that what you want?" He asked her as the waitress stood there impatiently."No... I want this." She pointed to something else, something that was... a little more expensive."Alright then." Autumn said leaning over to read the menu, "And then she'll have the seafood stir fry." He told the waitress."Thank you," Azoc stated, giving her thanks clearly. All Tiil gave was a grunt; he didn't want anything to eat. Frowning at him, Azoc looked at the table at the coloring page Damaris was working on."Your welcome." Autumn said before glancing at Tiil again and rolling his eyes. He had hoped maybe to have a chat with another adult, though that hardly seemed like what was going to happen. Feeling a little cramped Autumn stretched his wings out a bit while they waited for the food to come.Eyeing the wings, Tiil made sure to keep on the downlow, pursing his lips. He'd needed some feathers from a live specimin for a while... someone other than himself to test.
Azoc smiled, leaning against the table as she though."So Azoc, what do you like doing?" Damaris asked trying to get the other girl to be a bit more talkative. "I like to draw and color a lot, but I also really like to play on swings, it almost feels like you're flying!" Damaris said with a smile."You can't fly unless you have wings." Azoc murmured softly. "... or a dragon." She earned a sharp look from Tiil, eyes narrowing. She ignored it to the best of her ability. "I like water." A shrug, as her claws clicked."Hmm," Damaris said loosing her smile for a bit not understanding why Azoc sounded so much like those people from the labs. "The water's fun too!" She said grinning again, "I like to swim around in those tire tubes and play shark! I really don't like the deep end though." She added."Shark?" Azoc was confused now, scrunching her face up. "But you're not a shark..." At least, she didn't THINK she was. Damaris didn't look like anything out of her picture books that Kanth had.Damaris looked a little taken a back not knowing why Azoc didn't know what shark was, "You know, shark! When you swim underneath the water and try to get the people on the top. Just like a shark, see!" She said gnashing her teeth."I don't play games." Azoc murmured softly, bowing her head. She... didn't even know or begin to know how to even play a game, let alone start one. Or make friends, for that matter.Damaris frowned a bit, "Don't play games? How come? Why wouldn't you want to play games?" She asked very confused.Azoc was about to reply before Tiil slammed his palm down on the table, making everything jump. "Food's here." He muttered, glancing up as the plates were set down, taking a new water glass and drinking out of it.Damaris jumped a bit in her seat at the sudden noise and vibration. She was a little too entranced in the idea that there was some one who didn't play games though to just forget about it yet. "Hey! You can come to my house and we can play lots of games!" Damaris exclaimed excitedly, "We can have a slumber party! We can watch movies, play games, and eat ice cream!" She said exhilerated. "Daddy, can Azoc come sleep over please? please please pleeeeeeease?" She asked turning to Autumn."I don't have a problem with it." Autumn comented as the waitress began passing out the food, "What about you?" He said sharply to Tiil."She's busy." Tiil murmured, blinking slowly as he thought. "... but we could arrange something." Not having Azoc around the house meant more time to himself. And Kanth wouldn't have to have a problem with it, as she was hanging out with other Dcorp...Autumn quirked an eyebrow a little suprised. "If she's busy tonight, you have my number." He said to Tiil. He would not mind at all having the little girl over for the night, he actually felt kind of bad for her hearing what she had been talking about with Damaris."... very well. Have fun, then." Rising from his seat, Tiil shoved past Autumn and walked out the door, leaving Azoc by herself. The young girl sat in her seat for a long while, not saying anything before getting up herself and shaking her head.
"Sorry... thank you, though." Bowing slightly, Azoc moved out the door as well, though headed in a far different direction than Tiil."What the?..." Autumn said confused as to the two's sudden exit."Where'd she go?" Damaris asked a little disapointed."Dunno, guess she had something to do." Autumn said shrugging.

Random Event!
As puberty set in months ago, Damaris would begin the many changes to adulthood... A certain monthly problem would shave started, fat would begin depositing in awkward places... all of those thins her human DNA would contribute.
But there was something else her animal DNA wanted to add in... for the past month and a half it seems that those irritating monthly faucet problems went away. What a blessing, right? Unti... It gets replaced by a daily wave of nausea. Maybe its a cold? Perhaps you should go to the doctor...

The afternoon sun was brightly shining down. There were plenty of people outside who were enjoying the sun, kids running around jumping through sprinklers and throwing water balloons. However one place the sun touched was unfortunately not a scene of joy.
Damaris was sitting on her bed, her elbow propped up against her window sill as she stared off outside. Aside from the one window shining brightly the room was a clear sign of just how she was feelings. Posters were torn off the wall, drawers were ripped out of their dressers and flung to the ground, a closet door was off its hinges and the doorway that led to her own bathroom seemed to have suffered quite a beating from the girls tail.
Her emotions were running wild and she was just settling down. There were dried tears on her cheeks and her eyes were puffy, and her tail was beginning to bruise. Aside from that it seemed her emotions had taken a rest.
She just sat there in her room staring off to space and thinking to herself:
'So I'm going to have a baby...a baby...I'm ******** pregnant...I still don't get it.' She shifted a little on her bed, 'I can't even really blame anyone...not even myself...it just, happened. I don't even know how to be a mom...' She started to think back to her old family, she had a mom then, but a lot of those memories were blurred, 'What if it doesn't like me?...How am I supposed to take care of it?' She slumped down against the sill and continued to stare outside with glazed eyes, 'People get rid of their babies if they can't take care of them right?...Is that what I should do?...But it's mine, my baby, part of me...But I don't want it to have to be given up later on, if I can't handle it...' She was battling with herself mentally not sure how to assess the situation.
She buried her face in her arms and sighed as she continued to think. There was no escape from it, no matter how badly she'd like to.
Meanwhile Red was waiting outside of her room, he got a little bit shocked when he heard the crashes and bangs coming from her room and he waited for all the noise to stop before he nosed his way into the room.
Normally the dragon wouldn't care about petty little emotional things with his girl. However even the wyrmling knew when something was really wrong. He was also the only one that Damaris really told everything to, so he knew what was going on. It seemed to have been a good thing that the dragon could still not speak in english. Otherwise quite a while ago he would have told her how little he cared about the stupid things she seemed to tell him...Now though, now was different this wasn't some childish issue.
Red watched enough television to know enough about most of general society and what was happening to Damaris. He creeped up to the bed and tried to jump up on it, it was a bit of a struggle. It seemed his gluttonous habits were starting to catch up with him.
However for once he wasn't worried about making himself out to be the all mighty amazing one. He didn't much like just sitting around without television to watch or food to eat. However he went and nudged his snout up against Damaris' side and curled himself around the back of her.
Damaris was crying silently and it took a little bit, but she eventually took one arm and wrapped it around her dragons neck. Silent comfort was the best thing for her right now.
