Now there's progress! but you were giving scientific explanations, not the actual reasons which I couldn't possibly ask you to know. And yes, the whys would go on and on until every question was answered.

I've updated my first post.

As to "why" the sky is blue, that question is one that shouldn't exist. Your beliefs are making more problems than there should be. Why is the sky blue? How is the sky blue? These two are the same question to me, because I know there is no point in asking what purpose the sky's color serves humanity. There is no point in it being blue. It doesn't help humans on purpose. Once you accept that the "why" question isn't really a question, there are a lot less problems.

Do any of the questions in this guild or any other like it help humanity? (even that one?) Humans are curious by nature, so we ask questons, whether or not the answer may help us with anything other than the pursuit of knowledge. (which will probobly get us all killed)

Wow, you totally missed the point.

Welcome back, baron. One point I'm seeing is that you seem to completely avoid asking questions we can't get an answer for, Thuogh I don't really blame you.

You think I should be asking questions there is no answer for? There's something wrong with you then.

Concievably, yes. Then again, what harm can it do to ask? Eventually, we might be answered a few of them, particularly if there's an afterlife.

You're like the anti-scientist. Making claims without providing evidence, asking questions while shunning answers, believing in things that have no proof, and rejecting those which have more than their fair share. In short, everything I'm against, and the opposite of everything that's good with humanity.

Not quite, the "pointless questions" aren't just the ones involving whatever it was that created us. Honestly, we can't get answers for much of anything in this guild; leprchauns, ghosts, demons, flying monkeys, ect, the most we can do is theorize and argue. As for evidence or proof, what can be provided that even complete skeptics, or "experts" won't deny? The "answers" given are often someone saying "that can't happen, it can't exist, ect." with no scientific explanation given. Don't be so full of yourself, I'm not against things merely because you are, and I know very well that there are plenty of good people on earth, but they don't quite make up for the bad people to me.

oops, we haven't been able to find answers before, so we shouldn't even try.

After all, if we can't get them now, it logically follows that we won't ever be able to in the future!

Isn't that what they said about landing the moon? People thought we would never know it's surface and now we've brought parts of it back to earth, and have robots on mars. As for the freakinsh things of the night, a few were alreadly explained for the mostpart, vampires and werewolves were dismissed with porphyria, some "glowing light" sightings have been put down as swamp gas or something, it goes on, but many of the explanations are uncertain. If you think there's no point in talking about these things, why are you even here?

Dear god varmeip, I was being sarcastic and mocking your points. How dull can you be?

Sarcasm over the internet isn't easily detectable, say what you mean, and that won't be a problem.

Well let's see... when I'm taking your last post and oversimplifying what you said that might be considered mocking. Dear god.

It might, but we'll make more progress if you drop your game of apparently deliberate misleading and get to the point. For some reason, I've often had problems detecting sarcasm, not just over the internet, either.
